History of Next Level Wrestling

It all started with a rumor. The whispers of an underground fighting competition held in the city of Boston, Massachusetts. The murmurs and gossip of a promotion that contained some of the most graphic and entertaining matches anyone had ever seen. It was said that the truly great wrestlers, shoot fighters, mixed martial artists, and street tough thugs flocked to this competition for riches and the chance to prove themselves.

Soon the rumors led to guerilla style videos being filmed by spectators of these matches that took place beneath bars, nightclubs, and abandoned factories throughout Boston. This eventually led to videos being posted in online forums, reddit, and YouTube. This would get the attention of a corporation who wished to stay anonymous.

This company decided to back this promotion and give them the ability to promote their product on an international scale by securing television time and the ability to promote in large venues across the United States. They rebranded the underground promotion into Next Level Wrestling. The upstart new company drew in some of the biggest names and brightest minds in wrestling history to run the day to day operations. They built a new corporate office building in the promotions original hometown of Boston, Massachusetts called "NLW Headquarters."

The NLW debuted their flagship show on Thursday Nights to not compete openly with the WWE Monday and Tuesday Programs.
The newly christened NLW Show Thursday Night Pandemonium was a huge success and opened up with amazing ratings gathered from tons of online add campaigns and television advertising that created tons of buzz and attention towards their product.

Soon a new ratings war began. Even though NLW’s show Pandemonium was broadcast on a different night of the week, the WWE’s audience just started to quit watching the WWE television product for the ever-growing and continually entertaining NLW Thursday Night Pandemonium show. Once NLW started offering PPV shows they started to ever increase the drain on the WWE’s ability to keep an audience. Soon WWE became a lesser entity and the NLW was the supreme leader in Wrestling across the globe.

Now every year new and old superstar caliber wrestlers, fighters, and brawlers from all around the planet flock to NLW to prove themselves, gain riches, glory, and immortality.

Welcome to Next Level Wrestling.
