Thursday Night Pandemonium
July 27, 2017
Live from the KeyBank Center in Buffalo, New York
:: The NLW intro video ends and the camera pans around a sold-out KeyBank Center in Buffalo, New York. In the middle of the ring we see a podium and a table. NLW Creative Team Member Dominic Sanders stands at the podium as the crowd continues to go crazy. :: Carl Rogers – Good evening, everybody! Welcome to a sold-out KeyBank Center in Buffalo, New York! We are eight days away from NLW Vindication at the TD Garden in Boston, Massachusetts! In the ring you see one of the company’s top Creative Team Members, Dominic Sanders. We are kicking this thing off with a huge contract signing! Let’s go to Dominic Sanders in the ring! Dominic Sanders – Good evening, ladies and gentlemen. Next Friday at Vindication we have a highly anticipated match scheduled, one that you’ve all known about since the first Pandemonium aired. It’s a match between a wrestling legend for the past couple of decades and another considered by some as a wrestling icon for the future. I am going to bring them out individually and then we will get their official match contract signed! First off, we will bring out a man who people think could be the future of this business. He’s been successful in other promotions. In fact, he has yet to lose a match in his career! He is the Spanish Luchadore who often times yells “Viva La Lucha!” He is… Carlos… RUIZ! :: “Mazz Cumbias” hits over the P.A. System and the crowd comes to their feet. Carlos Ruiz steps out from the back in a silver silk button down tucked into a pair of black leather pants and an alligator skin belt. His Maui Jim sunglasses sit partially on his face while he slaps hands and takes pictures with the fans on the way to the ring. He walks up the steps and climbs through the ropes. He panders to the cheering fans, blowing kisses, then walks over to Dominic Sanders and the music stops. :: Dominic Sanders – Welcome, Carlos. This is a big night. You’ve come into America and into this business on fire, losing none of your matches. Next Friday you will face off with a living legend at Vindication. Tonight, for the first time ever, you two will step into the ring together to sign your contract for that event. Before we bring out your opponent, do you have any words to say? Carlos Ruiz – Si! Gracias Señor Dominic! I happy very much about being in Next Level Wrestling! Next week I fight big time legend and I cannot be happier! First ever pay per view of NLW! Carlos cannot wait for opportunity! Dominic Sanders – I’m sure that you can’t. Folks, as I said before his opponent next week is a living legend. He’s been in this business for decades. He’s won multiple world championships. He’s beaten the likes of giants, legends, and superstars and everything in between. He is, for all intents and purposes, immortal! He is… HULK… HOOOOGAN! :: “Real American” plays and the crowd goes wild. Hulk Hogan comes out in his usual red and yellow garb and a pair of yellow Oakley sunglasses. He plays to the crowd the entire way to the ring. Carlos Ruiz stands there clapping for Hogan. After he has finished, Hogan joins Sanders opposite of Carlos. ::
Dominic Sanders – Welcome, Mr. Hogan. Hulk Hogan - It's great to be here, brother! I tell you what. I have been hearing great things about this man right here! They say he's the future here, brother. I'm pretty excited to be stepping into the ring with a young talent that has so much promise!
Dominic Sanders – It surely should be a great match-up at Vindication! Let’s go ahead and get this contract signed! :: The two men sit down opposite of each other at the table. Sanders puts the contract down in front of Hulk Hogan as he adds his John Hancock, the crowd is buzzing. Hogan respectfully slides the contract over to Ruiz, who grabs his pen and signs. Sanders grabs the contract and holds it high in the air to a huge pop from the crowd. Hogan and Ruiz stand up and say a few words to each other and Ruiz smiles and extends his hand. Hogan smiles back and shakes Carlos’ hand. The crowd cheers as the show’s official theme song “Pandemonium” by Fear of Domination plays over the loud speakers. We go to a commercial break. We return from commercial break and Mhy-Col Coal is already in the ring. “A World Divided” is playing and Adrian Veidt is walking up the steel steps and into the ring. :: Carl Rogers – Welcome back to Pandemonium. Here we have the NLW’s newest competitor, Adrian Veidt. The German just signed a contract a few days ago. Kyleigh “Spark” – This guy has a lot of talent, Carl, and he has a promising future here in the NLW.
Carl Rogers - And in case you missed it, folks, Carlos Ruiz and Hulk Hogan just signed their contract live to kick off the show and we cannot wait for that match at Vindication next Friday! But now it’s time for action between Adrian and Mhy-Col Coal! (The bell rings and Mhy-Col Coal talks some trash to Veidt about being a new guy and how Veidt can’t beat him. Coal slaps Veidt across the face and Veidt returns with a European uppercut. Coal goes to slap Veidt again and Veidt ducks and delivers another European uppercut. Coal stumbles backwards and then charges Veidt. Veidt catches Coal with a belly to belly suplex. Veidt kicks up to his feet and Coal rolls over onto his stomach. Veidt walks over to Coal and picks him up. He lifts Coal up and sets him onto the top turnbuckle. Veidt climbs up and hooks Coal up and delivers a tornado DDT. Coal bounces off of the canvas into a seated position and is completely out of it.) Carl Rogers – This one may be a quick one, folks. Mhy-Col Coal looks done. Barry Hanson – Yeah, I will actually agree with you for once. (Veidt runs towards Coal and delivers a hard kick to the back of Coal’s head. Coal falls forward and grabs the back of his head. As Coal rolls over to his back, Veidt goes to the ring apron and climbs up to the top turnbuckle. He jumps off as Coal gets up to his hands and knees and delivers his curb-stomp called “Utopia” and Coal is out cold. Veidt rolls Coal over and covers him. 1, 2, 3!) Kyleigh “Spark” – Impressive victory for the newcomer Adrian Veidt! Barry Hanson – Meh. It was Mhy-Col Coal.
:: The scene cuts to a thirty second promo for NLW Vindication. When the promo ends, we see Savio Antonio standing in the ring as “Born in East LA” is playing on the P.A. System. ::
Carl Rogers - Up next we've got a match between Calucha, Savio Antonio and the newcomer who calls himself the Psycho Tiger, Tazai Mitsubishi!
:: “Fatal” by Critical Mass hits as a red cloud of smoke comes out from the entrance. Tazai Mitsubishi emerges from the smoke and runs to the ring. He slides under the bottom rope and pops to his feet. He gains a mixed reaction from the crowd as his music begins to fade out. ::
Kyleigh “Spark” - I'm excited for this debut. Tazai is extremely talented!
Barry Hanson - I didn't bet any money on Savio this time!
(Tazai stands across the ring from Savio as the bell sounds. The two meet in the center of the ring and circle. The two lock up hands and Tazai quickly yanks Savio's causing him to turn, Tazai wraps his arms around Savio and throws him back with a suplex. Tazai leaps to his feet and picks up Savio. Tazai then throws Savio into the ropes and on the return Tazai leaps up and throws his feet connecting with a drop kick, he then quickly climbs the turnbuckle and jumps off delivering an elbow to the chest of Savio. Tazai then taunts his opponent, Savio stands with his back to Tazai, Tazai grabs his arms connecting with a Tiger suplex. Tazai walks to a corner and turns to face Savio, Tazai places one hand behind himself and starts to stomp his feet, morning with the other hand for Savio to stand. Savio has worked his way into the corner and begins to pull himself back to his feet using the ropes. He's trying to catch his breath when Tazai sprints across the ring and connects with a vicious 12 o'clock (Yakuza kick). Tazai goes for the pin. 1...2....3)
Carl Rogers - A quick and impressive victory for the Psycho Tiger!
Kyleigh “Spark” - Very impressive!
Barry Hanson - So fast that we don't even need to go to a commercial break!
Carl Rogers - That’s right. Let's go backstage to NLW’s very own Ron Burgundy who is standing by with Carlos Ruiz!
:: Scene cuts to backstage ::
Ron Burgundy - That's right, Carl. You and that sweet little minx sitting out there would love to be back here with yours truly. But instead I am with Carlos Ruiz. Carlos, any thoughts on what happened earlier in the ring?
Carlos Ruiz - Si, Señor Burgundy! It was great night for Carlos Ruiz! I sign contract to face legend at the Vindication! Carlos dream all my life to face such a man! Hulk Hogan y Carlos Ruiz! Who would have think it could happen? Next week at the Vindication I get to fight living legend! And I not mean any disrespect for Señor Hulk, but I plan on continuing undefeated streak! Carlos Ruiz has not lost since moving to America! I am excited very much for this! Viva La Lucha!
:: Carlos walks away as we cut back to the ring. Blue Meanie and Jinder Mahal are in the ring as “Walking Dead” by Cryptex hits the loud speakers and the lights go out completely. They begin to flash red as Solara comes walking out from the back. She turns to look at the entrance and the lights go out again. The entire arena lights up red as Riddick is standing next to Solara. Both walk down the ramp, when they get to the ring he leans over and kisses Solara and he slides in the bottom rope and she walks around to stand outside the ring in Riddick’s corner. Riddick backs himself into the corner and ducks down, resting with his arms on the middle ropes and back against the corner and a smirk on his face. ::
(The bell rings for the match to begin. Riddick crouched in the corner with a smirk on his face looking at Jinder Mahal who is in first for the team. Suddenly the P.A. System comes on.)
P.A. System - WHAT DO WE WANT? DO WE NEED? HEAD! HEAD! HEAD!
:: “Insane in the Membrane” by Cyprus Hill plays right before the action starts. On the NLWtron, HEAD appears on screen. Riddick stands and turns to face the NLWtron. ::
HEAD (Morgan Freeman Voice) - You all wanted it. Now it is here. The time to crown the next king of Neverland. The Hardcore Division. Where dreams and extremities go to die. I have come with important news. This match is the first qualifying match for the Hardcore Title Match. Now this will not be your average Hardcore Title Match. Oh No. When you look at this beautiful HEAD NLW roster. Remember, I am your Hardcore Division God. I am the Alpha and the Omega. I make the rules. Don’t worry, the power isn’t going to my HEAD. I just have an announcement. Hey Riddick. I know you are a little busy right now, but I have a proposition. If you beat these two in the next 5 minutes, you get a match with Jagen Hagar at Vindication. If you win that match, you clinch the first spot in The Inaugural Hardcore Title Extreme Rules Fatal Fourway Iron Man Match. No escapes. Just pins and submissions and preferably knock outs. In the following weeks, more of these sacrifices will be determined. The Gift of HEAD HAS BEEN GIVEN! NOW FIGHT FOR Your Hardcore Division God. Carl Rogers - Head drops a bombshell on the NLW Universe. Barry Hanson - I don’t think he can pick up or drop anything, Rogers. Kyleigh “Spark” - Exciting announcement for the future of the NLW. Now, let’s see what Riddick can do with that prize in mind.
(Riddick smirks, before he turns around, Jinder charges and attempts to hit Riddick from behind, Riddick quickly steps aside, grabs Jinders shoulders and throws him shoulder first hard into the turnbuckle causing Jinder to fall to the mat. Riddick then quickly runs to the other side, leaps in the air and dropkicks The Blue Meanie off of the ring and the blue meanie falls to the ground outside. He runs back over to Jinder who is beginning to get to his feet, Riddick jumps and grabs Jinders neck dropping down for a hard jumping DDT. With one leap Riddick jumps to the top turnbuckle, he jumps off hitting Jinder with PITCH BLACK (Phoenix 630) and quickly goes for the pin.)
Crowd - 1...2….3!
:: The bell sounds and before the ref can hold up Riddick’s hand he calls for a mic. ::
Riddick - HEAD, was that fast enough for you? Look, I fight for myself, I don't believe in your god, but I will destroy any and all in my path!
:: Riddick tosses the mic onto the unconscious Jinder and he throws his hands in the air as “Walking Dead” hits and the crowd begins to cheer as he and Solara walk up the ramp to the back. We head to commercial break. We return from commercial break and “The Warriors Code” is playing over the P.A. System. Murphy MacManus is heading to the ring. :: Ring Announcer – The following contest is scheduled for one fall! Coming to the ring, from Dublin, Ireland and weighing in at 255 pounds… Murphy MacManus! Carl Rogers – Murphy MacManus has been on a tear, thus far. Undefeated and hoping to keep his streak alive against Ted DiBiase! Barry Hanson – It’ll fizzle out! He won’t beat “The Million Dollar Man!” Kyleigh “Spark” – We will see! MacManus has brutish strength and DiBiase has golden finesse! :: Murphy gets into the ring and plays to the cheering fans. He stretches his arms out wide and the crowd continues to cheer as the music fades. :: P.A. System: HA HA HA HA HA HA HA…! :: “It’s All About the Money” plays over the P.A. System as Ted DiBiase comes out in his diamond studded three piece tuxedo to a chorus of boos. :: Ring Announcer – And his opponent, from his summer residence in Hyannis Port, Massachusetts and weighing in at 260 pounds… he is “The Million Dollar Man” Ted DiBiase! :: DiBiase has a wad of cash in his hand. He is laughing and walks up the steps and into the ring. He fans out the cash and holds it out in front of himself as he grabs the microphone from the ring announcer. :: “The Million Dollar Man” Ted DiBiase – Murphy! I told you the other day that I had a proposition for you. I call it the easy way! I’ve got $1,000 cash here for you to lay down in the middle of the ring to give me the victory! Because EVERYBODY’S got a price for “The Million Dollar Man!” HA HA HA HA HA! :: Murphy MacManus takes a look at the money and you can see the wheels turning in his head. He has a grin on his face as he walks towards DiBiase. MacManus then swats the $1,000 out of DiBiase’s hand and to the canvas. He flips DiBiase off as DiBiases’ smile fades to a scowl. :: Carl Rogers – He couldn’t buy his way out of this match! Barry Hanson – MacManus is an idiot, Rogers! Take the money and run! :: DiBiase bends over and picks up the cash and puts it in his pocket and yells at MacManus about “the hard way.” He takes his three-piece tuxedo off to reveal his black tights with gold dollar signs. The bell rings to start the match. :: (The two pace around the ring and then lock up in the center. DiBiase puts MacManus in a headlock and they stand in the middle of the ring. Murphy picks DiBiase up and delivers a belly-to-back suplex. DiBiase quickly rolls out of the ring to recompose himself. MacManus plays to the crowd again to a huge pop. DiBiase slides into the ring and runs after Murphy. Murphy kicks DiBiase with a boot to the mid-section. He puts DiBiase into the corner and starts stomping a mudhole in DiBiase. He backs off and DiBiase puts his hands up pleading with MacManus. Murphy steps closer to DiBiase and Ted grabs Murphy by the tights and pulls him into the corner, face first into the turnbuckle. DiBiase gets up and puts Murphy in an arm lock. He starts throwing elbows to the right shoulder of MacManus, trying to wear him down.) Carl Rogers – This match is already back and forth. Who will gain the upper hand? Barry Hanson – Come on, Rogers. “The Million Dollar Man” doesn’t lose! (DiBiase whips MacManus to the opposite turnbuckle and Murphy bounces back with a hard clothesline to DiBiase, knocking him to the canvas. He picks DiBiase up off of the ground and hooks him for a powerbomb. DiBiase smartly ducks out of it and behind MacManus. He attempts to hook DiBiase up into the Million Dollar Dream, but MacManus counters behind DiBiase. He locks DiBiase up in a full nelson and slams him down. He begins stomping on DiBiase and goes for the cover. 1… 2… kickout by DiBiase. MacManus puts DiBiase in an arm bar. The referee continues to check for a submission. DiBiase shakes his head no. MacManus breaks the hold and lifts DiBiase to his feet. He again tries to hook DiBiase up for a powerbomb, but DiBiase delivers a back-bodydrop to MacManus. DiBiase stands up and paces the ring for a second. He then delivers a boot to MacManus’ face. DiBiase drops a knee on the right shoulder of MacManus and cinches the arm back.) Barry Hanson – MacManus quit! I saw it! Carl Rogers – No he didn’t. Stop it Barry! Kyleigh “Spark” – It’s very clear that DiBiase wants to wear the arm down for the Million Dollar Dream. (DiBiase gets up off of MacManus and pulls him to his feet. He delivers a bodyslam to Murphy and then bounces off of the ropes and drops a knee to MacManus’ shoulder. Murphy rolls over grabbing his shoulder as DiBiase pulls him to his feet. He wrenches the right arm again and goes to whip MacManus into the corner. Murphy reverses, which is then reversed back to the other corner by DiBiase and MacManus slams into the referee in the corner. The referee is down! DiBiase charges MacManus but MacManus side-steps DiBiase and sends him hard through the ropes and into the ring post. DiBiase falls back into the ring in pain and to his hands and knees. MacManus locks DiBiase into the anaconda choke submission that MacManus calls “F-YOU!” DiBiase quickly taps out and MacManus releases the hold and stands up in excitement.) Carl Rogers – That’s it! DiBiase tapped! Kyleigh “Spark” – Hold on, Carl! We have an issue! The referee is down and didn’t see DiBiase tap! (MacManus realizes the match is not yet over and he goes over to wake the referee. He shakes the referee and he starts to come to. MacManus walks back over to DiBiase but MacManus is met with a hard low blow from DiBiase. DiBiase gets to his feet and locks MacManus into the Million Dollar Dream! After three seconds, we hear the bell ring.) Barry Hanson – He’s done it! DiBiase wins the match! :: “It’s All About the Money” plays over the P.A. System as DiBiase raises his arms in the air in victory. Suddenly the music stops and the ring announcer comes on. :: Ring Announcer – The winner of this bout… as a result of a DISQUALIFICATION. Murphy MacManus! :: “The Warrior’s Code” plays and MacManus raises his arms in the air and the crowd cheers. :: Carl Rogers – He got caught! The referee saw the low blow! Barry Hanson – NO! That’s not fair! MacManus passed out! We all saw it! Carl Rogers – What are you talking about? He never tapped. He never passed out. He’s standing in the ring right now! :: Ted DiBiase is going ballistic in the ring with the referee right now. He’s threatening the referee and suddenly we hear “Pandemonium” by Fear of Domination come onto the P.A. System. NLW Creative Team Member Dominic Sanders comes out onto the ramp with a microphone in his hand as DiBiase looks to the ramp confused. MacManus looks at the ramp, as well, and the music fades. :: Dominic Sanders – What an interesting turn of events we’ve had in this match. As a member of the NLW Creative Team, you guys have given me some ideas. Now, Ted… we all saw you tap out to Murphy MacManus tonight. Everyone except the man that counts the most, Mr. Official. So, let’s be fair. That didn’t cost you the loss. Murphy MacManus, for your efforts and the fact that you won this match, practically twice, you are being rewarded. Next Friday night at Vindication you will have a match. It will be a championship match. You will face off with the winner of tonight’s Pure Championship match for the NLW Pure Championship! :: The crowd cheers loudly and MacManus smiles and plays to the crowd. DiBiase looks unimpressed and begins to exit the ring. :: Dominic Sanders – Whoa, whoa, whoa. Where are you going, Ted? I’ve got something for you, too. :: DiBiase gets back into the ring and looks at Sanders. :: Dominic Sanders – Now… for your efforts tonight… the effort to win this match via a low blow… you are going to have something taken away from you that I know you really, really want. You see, at Vindication we are going to have a tournament. And there’s a prize at the end of this tournament. And I know you want this prize. You’ve been wanting it so bad you can taste it, and you’ve been trying to buy it from Commissioner Michaels. This tournament is going to be for the Next Level Wrestling Million Dollar Championship! And Teddy… you WERE going to be in it. But now, after that performance, you have been removed from contention! :: Ted DiBiase goes crazy in the ring, throwing a fit. :: Carl Rogers – How bout that?! The NLW brass has taken the ONE thing that DiBiase wanted and held it far out of his reach! Barry Hanson – He can’t do that! He can’t keep the Million Dollar Championship away from “The Million Dollar Man!” This is a travesty! :: “Pandemonium” plays again as DiBiase continues to throw a fit. We fade to a commercial break. As we return, “Viking Death" plays across the arena and Antonio Gilberto walks through the curtain at the top of the ramp. He makes his way down to the ring smiling and high fiving random fans while letting a single pretty girl towards the bottom of the ramp lay a kiss on his cheek. He smiles nonchalantly to the camera, heads to the ramp, runs up, and jumps into the ring. He moves into his corner awaiting his opponent. ::
Carl Rogers - Antonio Gilberto is ready for action here folks! Maybe he will be in this Million Dollar Championship tournament next week?
Barry Hanson - Why would he be? What has he done?
Kyleigh “Spark” - He’s a great competitor, Barry. Very skilled!
Carl Rogers - I'll tell you one person who won't be in the tournament: Ted DiBiase! Barry Hanson - That's a damn shame! :: “Monster” plays over the arena as fans stand on their feet chanting “YES! YES! YES!” Bryan smiles to the crowd before shuffling down the ramp with his signature “Yes!” taunt until he reaches the ring. He slides under the bottom rope and stands in the corner as the crowd in the Wells Fargo Arena continue chanting “Yes!” The bell ref calls for the bell. ::
(Antonio and Bryan circle each other, they enter a traditional collar and elbow tie up, Antonio transitions it into an arm ringer on Bryan, Antonio wrenches the hold, Bryan slaps his shoulder, rolls forward and reverses the hold into an arm ringer on Antonio, Antonio spins out, and maintains his grip and applies a hammer lock on Bryan, Bryan throws an elbow to Antonio’s face, drops down to one knee and tosses Antonio with a snap mare, Antonio rolls through, both men stand and shake hands.)
Carl Rogers - Some fast action early on in this match-up.
Kyleigh “Spark” - Don’t blink. Both of these men can fly around!
(The crowd claps at the gesture of sportsmanship. Bryan and Antonio enter another collar and elbow tie up, Bryan releases and gets Antonio from the back, Antonio quickly spins around and reverses the hold, Antonio lefts Bryan up and flap jacks him onto his belly, Antonio quickly gets up and runs toward the ropes, bounces off, Bryan is getting up to his feet when Antonio plant his right foot onto Bryan’s left knee and steps up delivering an enziugiri to the side of Bryan’s head, Bryan flops to the ground)
Carl Rogers - What a kick by Antonio Gilberto!
Barry Hanson - I wish that idiot would’ve found a way to kick himself, too. I hate both of these guys!
(Antonio gets to his feet and runs to the nearby corner ring post, Antonio hops to the top rope and awaits Bryan to stand up. Bryan gets to his feet, Antonio jumps from the top rope attempting a missile drop kick, Bryan has the move scouted and side steps, Antonio crashes to the mat, Bryan immediately locks in the LeBell Lock. Bryan wrenches back on the hold shaking his head up and down, Antonio struggles, the ref drops down to inspect the hold. Antonio begins to drag himself left towards the closest rope with his free right arm. Antonio desperately tries to grab the rope, and finally gets his grip on it. The ref tells Bryan to release the hold, and begins to count, Bryan tells the ref and the crowd... )
Bryan Danielson - I have till 5!
(The ref counts 1…2…3…4..And at 4 and a half, Bryan releases the hold and gets to his feet. Bryan tries to grab Antonio, but Antonio rolls out of the ring to get a breather, Bryan runs to the opposite ropes and charges towards Antonio’s position on the outside, jumps through the middle rope and nails Antonio with a suicide dive shoving Antonio into the metal guard rail, Bryan lands awkwardly and stands up limping, favoring his left knee. The ref begins issuing the 10 counts 1…2… Bryan goes to grab Antonio, but Antonio catches Bryan off balance and Irish whips him into the metal guard rail, Bryan hits the metal with his back and looks in pain, 3…4… Antonio follows up with a standing drop kick that sends Bryan over the rail and into the crowd. 5… Antonio then walks back to the ring, 6...7… Bryan gets up from the floor, hops the guard rail, walks limping back to the ring, Antonio runs and bounces off the ropes and heads towards Bryan’s position on the outside, 8.. Antonino springboards off the top rope diving at Bryan with a corkscrew plancha, Antonio connects and both men lay on the ground. The ref restarts the 10 counts. 1…2…3…4…5… Antonio gets to his feet and heads back to into the ring 6…7…8.. Bryan begins to stir and grabs the ring skirting 9… Bryan at the last second rolls into the ring to break the count.)
Kyleigh “Spark” - Bryan Danielson JUST made it back into the ring!
(Antonio goes back on the offensive as he picks up Bryan, he whips Bryan into the corner, Bryan the corner with his back, Antonio is not far behind him and he clotheslines Bryan in the corner. Antonio grabs Bryan by the head in the DDT position. Antonio runs up the first, second, and third rope while Bryan is hooked and plants Bryan on his head with a Tornado DDT. Antonio goes for the cover, 1…2…Bryan rolls his shoulder to the side to prevent the fall. Antonio stands up and grabs Bryan by the head, in threads his head between Bryan’s legs and gets Bryan up in the electric chair position, Bryan begins to hammer the top of Antonio’s head, Bryan spins around atop Antonio and attempts a hurricanrana, Antonio shifts his weight to stop the rotation, Bryan hangs upside down with his legs still wrapped around Antonio’s head. Bryan does a sit-up and begins punching Antonio in the face repeatedly, Antonio begins running to the nearby turnbuckle and looks like he’ll throw Bryan into the corner for a buckle bomb, Bryan leap frogs off of Antonio’s shoulders and lands on his feet as Antonio stumbles forwards and turns around resting his back against the turnbuckles, Bryan meets Antonio with a seated drop kick into the head Antonio is stunned, Bryan rushes to the corner diagonal to the one Antonio is leaned on and runs back for another seated drop kick, he does this a third time, grabs, Antonio by the head and tosses him to the center of the ring. Antonio slowly gets to his knee’s as Bryan stands at the ready.)
Carl Rogers - Here we go, folks. Danielson is ready to chop some wood!
Barry Hanson - What does that even mean?
(Bryan throws a kick to Antonio’s chest as the crowd chants “YES!” and again “YES!”, and again “YES!”, and again “YES!”, and again “YES!”, then to a chorus of “YES! YES! YES! YES! YES!” and Bryan holds back a final kick as the crowd chants while drum rolling “Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!” As Bryan goes to kick Antonio’s head off, Antonio ducks forward, Bryan spins around like a top, Antonio takes advantage and rolls Bryan up in a school boy, (1…2..) Bryan transitions the school boy, floats his leg over Antonio’s shoulder and attempts a cross arm breaker, Antonio reaches across and locks his hands together to prevent Bryan from completing the submission hold, Antonio shifts his body towards Bryan getting on top of Bryan who still has Antonio’s arm hooked, Bryans shoulders are down, the ref counts (1..2..) Bryan releases the hold and transitions his legs into a figure four around Antonio’s head locking in the Triangle Choke, Antonio flails around wildly, kicking his legs around trying to get a foot on the ropes and succeeds, the ref calls for the break but Bryan smile and shakes his head)
Bryan Danielson - I said I have till 5!
(The ref counts (1..2..3..4..) Bryan releases the Triangle Choke. Antonio lays on the ground, Bryan grabs Antonio’s arm, drags him to the center of the ring, turns him over on his back and heads to runs to the corner. Before Bryan could ascend the turnbuckle, a duo of men wearing masks jump over the guardrail and slide into the ring.)
Carl Rogers - What the hell is going on here?!
Kyleigh “Spark” - I don’t know, and I don’t appreciate someone’s hand on my back!
Barry Hanson - I am sorry! I thought … that…. was... my back. I got excited about this new development!
(The masked men split up. One stands over Gilberto and one is staring at Danielson in the corner and moving closer, step-by-step. They start pummeling the two wrestlers and the referee calls for the bell)
Carl Rogers - Who in the hell are these guys?
Barry Hanson - My new heroes, that’s who! Get ‘em! Get ‘em!
:: The two men continue to destroy Danielson and Gilberto. The referee attempts to pull one of them off of Antonio, but the man shoves the referee hard enough to knock him outside of the ring and to the floor. The two continue their assault, although Danielson and Gilberto are motionless at this point. A crew of officials finally begins sprinting towards the ring and right before they slide in, the masked men exit the ring and jump the rails back into the crowd and disappear up a staircase. The referee crew enters the ring and they begin attending to Danielson, Gilberto, and the downed referee on the outside. ::
Carl Rogers - That was just sickening! We need to take a commercial break damnit!
:: We fade to commercial. As we return we see Rogers, Hanson, and “Spark” at the announce table ::
Carl Rogers - What we have just witnessed before the break was a sickening display of gutlessness! Two masked men… well… see for yourselves.
:: They replay the events of the two masked men attacking Gilberto and Danielson. After the footage is done, we return back to the announcers ::
Carl Rogers - There’s no telling just who these masked men are, but one thing is for certain Antonio Gilberto and Bryan Danielson are okay. During the commercial break they both stood up and walked out on their own power. You can imagine revenge is on their minds. But the show must go on. Let’s go to the ring for our next contest.
Ring Announcer - The following contest is scheduled for one fall and is a hardcore match!
:: “I'm Shipping Up to Boston” plays over the arena speaker system as a green hue covers the arena, the crowd erupts with a chorus of boos as Marcus O’Hara comes out from the back curtain as green and white fireworks shoot all around him, he’s holding some sort of large water projectile and makes his way down the ramp shooting what apparently is straight Jameson whiskey into the eyes and mouths of fans, both adult and children. ::
Carl Rogers - Marcus O’Hara won a huge match last week in the steel cage against Marty Scurll. He’s looking to continue his success this week against Jagen Hagar.
Barry Hanson - A Man does not lose, Carl!
:: After the gun is emptied he throws the device on the ground walks, then proceeds to circle the ring, harassing the fans in the front few rows. He rolls in the ring then heads over to a corner. "Pia's Theme" by Christopher Melotti begins to echo drearily throughout the arena. Smoke begins to pour out onto the stage. Jagen Hagar, in a dirty white robe, and A Girl in a black robe slowly make their way to the ring. Hagar slowly enters the ring, ignoring all the heckles, boos, and jeers. ::
Carl Rogers - Here is A Man, literally, who was on Next Level Wrestling’s developmental squad until last week. He has impressed Commissioner Shawn Michaels enough that he was awarded a contract and is now a member of the NLW active roster.
Barry Hanson - It was only a matter of time, Carl. A Man is too good to be in the developmental group!
:: A Girl takes Jagen Hagar’s robe and walks towards the announce booth. She stops right before the ring announcer, turns towards the ring, and stands motionless for the duration of the match. O’Hara grabs the ropes and springboards over the ropes, but Hagar moves, and O’Hara comes crashing down through the table. Hagar grabs the Stop Sign he finds next to him and heads towards O’Hara. O’Hara reaches and grabs a fragmented piece of the table. As Hagar is coming down with the Stop Sign, O’Hara jams the piece of wood into the side of Hagar’s leg. Hagar drops the stop sign and crumbles to a knee. As he rips out the piece of wood, still on one knee, O’Hara runs, leaps, and drives Hagar’s head into the hard concrete with a Curb Stomp. O’Hara wastes no time getting Hagar, up and into the ring. He slides in the ring and goes for the cover…the ref counts…)

:: a graphic shows for the women's tag team match. ::
Kyleigh “Spark” - The Divas Division is going to flex its muscle! We will be right back!
:: The scene fades to commercial. When we return, we see Kyleigh “Spark” sitting at the announce table ::
Kyleigh “Spark” - Welcome back. Last week we saw some things transpire in the Divas Division. Following the match between Nixon Newell and Monique Browning, Monique attacked Nixon. Becky Lynch came out to help the situation, which resulted in a two-on-one. Somehow, Monique found her way into an advantage. Not to be outdone, new NLW Diva Kay Lee Ray rushed out to the ring to come to the aid of Becky and Nixon. However, her attack on Monique backfired and she landed on Becky Lynch instead. This caused a little bit of confusion about who was on whose side. Let's take a look at what happened next.
:: The scene shifts to video from last week. We see Kay Lee Ray rush to the ring and inadvertently attack Becky Lynch. We then see Lita and Trish Stratus come out from the back and announce this tag team match. The scene comes back to the ring. ::
Ring Announcer - Ladies and gentlemen. The following Divas Division tag team contest is scheduled for one fall!
:: “C’est la Vie” by B*Witched hits over the P.A. System as Nixon Newell and Kay Lee Ray make their way out to the ring together. They walk down the aisle to a huge cheer from the crowd, slapping hands along the way. ::

:: Kyleigh “Spark” makes a scoffing noise and the two ladies enter the ring and play to the crowd. The music stops and “Celtic Invasion” hits over the speakers. Becky Lynch makes her way to the ring alone and to a big pop from the crowd. As she enters the ring her music ends and “Freeway Bound” by Miko Marks plays throughout the KeyBank Center. The cheers turn to jeers as Monique Browning makes her way out of the tunnel with her guitar in tow. She wastes no time sliding into the ring after dropping her guitar on the outside of the ring. ::
Kyleigh “Spark” - Monique is very determined to win this one after her loss last week. And then she felt like everyone was hanging up against her. She will start off against Nixon Newell.
(Nixon and Monique start in the ring and KLR and Becky stand on the apron in their corners, Nixon and Monique both begin the match circling each other looking to lock up. Nixon raises her hand to touch with Monique’s also raised hand, they lock up but Nixon gains the advantage and is behind Monique and holds her, Nixon tries to lift Monique for a German suplex, the move connects and Nixon bridges for the pin, 1…KICKOUT by Monique.)

Meanwhile Nixon has recovered fully and is calling for KLR to tag her back in, but Monique and KLR are both down.)
:: CROWD BEGINS TO CLAP AS THE TWO OF THEM BEGIN TO STIR ::
(KLR recovers first and dives towards Nixon and tags her in. Nixon grabs Monique by the legs and pulls her backwards to stop her tagging in Becky, Nixon tries to lift Monique to her feet but gets hit in the head with Monique’s elbow, taking advantage of Nixon being dazed Monique runs to Becky and tags herself out. Becky reluctantly climbs through the ropes as Nixon is clear headed and looks right at her. Nixon runs right at Becky and hits her with a dropkick that launches her into the corner, she knocks her head on the turnbuckle and slumps down, Nixon pulls her out and goes for the cover, 1…2…KICKOUT! Kay Lee Ray and Nixon Newell win the match!)
Carl Rogers - What a Divas Division Match we just witnessed!
:: Monique rolls out of the ring as the two celebrate. Becky climbs back into the ring through the ropes and stares at the two women and then you see her shrugging. Becky extends her hand in sportsmanship in their direction. Nixon takes her hand and shakes it. Kay Lee does the same. But at the same time as Kay Lee shakes Becky’s hand, Monique slides back into the ring with her guitar and cracks it over Becky’s head. Becky goes down in a heap and Monique throws the shrapnel at Kay Lee and Nixon. ::
Carl Rogers - Come on! That's uncalled for Monique!
Barry Hanson - You know what? I like her!
:: the ring attendant standing there pulls all of the guitar debris out it the ring as Nixon spears Browning. The two begin rolling around the ring trading punches. KLR stands there, but doesn't do anything out of confusion. Suddenly we hear a voice. ::

Lita - No. You four will face off in a four-way match.
Trish Stratus - And there will be high stakes on this one.
Lita - The winner of this match will be crowned the first ever NLW Divas Champion!
:: There's a huge pop from the crowd as the four women in the ring look at each other with excitement and anticipation. ::
Carl Rogers - Wow! That's huge!
Trish Stratus - Oh and ladies? You better put your climbing boots on because it's also going to be a ladder match!
:: The crowd pops again as Trish and Lita fade from the screen. ::
Kyleigh “Spark” - This is very big for the future of the Divas Division!
Carl Rogers - I can't believe it. A four-way ladder match between Nixon Newell, Monique Browning, Kay Lee Ray, and Becky Lynch next week at Vindication! We will be right back with our Main Event. For the first time ever, NLW gold will be on the line!
:: Cut to commercial. When we return, “Nihilist” by Ace Waters plays over the P.A. system as Keith Anderson emerges from the back and makes his way to the ring. ::
Carl Rogers - This night has been so packed with action and we haven’t even had our Pure Championship match yet!
Kyleigh “Spark” - And it looks like Keith Anderson is going to grace us with his presence with an announcement.
:: He gets into the ring and calls for a mic. He is given one by the timekeeper and he paces around the ring while raising the mic to his face. The music cuts. ::
Keith Anderson - Welcome! All of you in attendance here at the KeyBank Center, and all of you watching at home. Welcome to the main event of Thursday Night Pandemonium! Tonight, in this next match, the first ever NLW Pure Champion will be determined! The man who wins this next match will walk out with quite a few accolades tonight, folks. Indeed, he will not only be Pure Champion, but he will be the first in a long line of men who will follow him. As such his reign will be a golden opportunity to set a precedent of what we will come to expect from our Pure Title Division. However, he will also be the first ever champion crowned in this new era of NLW, therefore the winner tonight will make a mark that will be seen for generations beyond this night. The seeds of many legacies have been planted tonight, and this match will be no different in its purpose. Our Pure Division is indeed governed by a different set of rules than any other. Now, the men in the back know this, but I’ll let the crowd be privy to these rules. This title is meant to be held by the one of the most technically gifted wrestlers on the roster, and our rules are to ensure that. First and foremost, the Pure Title can change hands on a disqualification or count-out. We will not tolerate our men trying to make use of the “Champion’s Advantage,” as a means to retain the title. You must win the title fairly, and defend it as such. Secondly, each wrestler may only make use of rope breaks three times. Beyond that, pinfalls and submissions that occur under the ropes are legal. Finally, the Pure Title will be defended frequently, at least twice a month: at least once on regular television, and once on pay-per-view. This is to keep competition fresh and to ensure that the best man is holding the title. With all that out of the way… Let this match begin!
:: Anderson takes a seat by the commentator’s table as “One True Villain” by HotTag Media plays over the P.A. system. Marty Scurll pops onto the stage and points his umbrella at the ring before making his way to the ring. ::
Ring Announcer - The following contest is a Fatal Four-Way match scheduled for one fall and is to determine the inaugural NLW Pure Champion! Making his way to the ring, from Cambridge, England… weighing in at 183 pounds, MARTY SCURLL!
Carl Rogers - Mary brings a wealth of experience to the ring, although I bet he wishes he could get that match back last week against Marcus O’Hara.
Barry Hanson - Once you have a bottle of Jameson in your system, you can’t lose. I bet Marcus didn’t drink today, although A Man loses to no one!
:: Marty takes place in one of the corners as “For Whom the Bell Tolls” by Metallica plays over the P.A. system. David Knight stomps out from the back and points and yells at Scurll. He then runs down to the ring and slides in. He takes a corner opposite of Scurll and stares the man down. ::
Kyleigh “Spark” - Here comes the big man! Six feet, eight inches tall! He’s a monster!
Ring Announcer - And one of his opponents! From Sacramento, California… weighing in at 300 pounds, DAVID KNIGHT!
:: “Gold” by Sir Sly plays over the P.A. system as Alexander Midas comes from the back. He taunts the fans with a gold watch and rings before sliding into the ring and removing his jewelry. ::
Ring Announcer - And one of their opponents, from Cape Town, South Africa… weighing in at 240 pounds, ALEXANDER “THE KING” MIDAS!
Carl Rogers - You can bet that Alexander Midas would love to add one more piece of gold to his already golden array of goods!
:: Midas smiles toothily at Scurll and Knight before taking his corner. As he does this, “Too Many Years” by Kodak Black plays over the P.A. system. Brayden Wolfe runs from the back and to the ring, quickly mounting the turnbuckle in his corner and yelling at the fans that he is destined to win this. ::
Ring Announcer - And the final competitor in this match, from Peterborough, Ontario, Canada… weighing in at 225 pounds, BRAYDEN WOLFE!
Carl Rogers - This guy is impressive, folks. This is going to be a great match and we are ready to crown our FIRST EVER NLW Pure Champion!
(The bell rings as the match is ready to begin. The four men stare at each other waiting for one to make the first move. Suddenly, Wolfe runs towards Knight, catching him off guard, and starts punching the man into the corner. Scurll decides to jump in on the attack and seems to form an early alliance with Wolfe. Midas watches from his corner, resting and saving his energy for later in the match. He leaves the ring and showboats a bit at some booing spectators as Wolfe and Scurll take turns delivering shots to Knight. Scurll positions himself opposite of Knight’s turnbuckle and Wolfe whips Knight in Scurll’s direction. Scurll delivers a powerful clothesline to Knight that grounds him. Deciding to get in on the action, Midas slides into the ring and delivers a discus knee to the side of Scurll’s head. This grounds Scurll, and Midas takes advantage by mounting Scurll Lou Thesz style and delivering blows to Scurll. As this happens, Wolfe picks up Knight and drops him with a DDT. He then delivers kicks on the downed Knight. The camera changes to Midas and Scurll. At this point, Midas has turned Scurll onto his stomach and has hooked both of Scurll’s arms behind his back. Midas yells out and begins to deliver headbutts to the back of Scurll’s head while bending Scurll’s back by the arms. Scurll yells out in pain and fails his legs, yet ultimately fails to do anything to get out. Brayden realizes this and hits a running knee to Midas, breaking the assault. This leaves Wolfe as the last man standing as Scurll stays down to rest and Knight is kneeling by the ropes across the ring.)
Carl Rogers - The early moments in this match seem to give Wolfe an advantage, he just has to take advantage and he could easily take the whole competition!
Barry Hanson - There’s still plenty of wrestling left in these men, I wouldn’t put my chips on any one competitor yet…
Kyleigh “Spark” - Yeah, this match has quite a ways to go before we reach our conclusion.
(Wolfe measures Knight and charges at him, but Knight is able to counter with a spinebuster! This grounds Wolfe and Knight takes advantage with more than a few punches. However, Knight knows that the best path to victory is a few more slams. Knight picks up Wolfe and locks him in a cobra clutch. Wolfe struggles and seems to consider using one of his rope breaks, but Knight ends up dropping Wolfe with a Cobra Clutch Slam before that decision is made. Knight goes for a cover on Wolfe… 1! 2! KICKOUT immediately after two by Wolfe. Knight realizes that there’s a long way to go before victory and begins to try and wear Wolfe down with an Anaconda Vise. As this happens, Midas and Scurll begin to duke it out again. Midas and Scurll trade blows, with Midas’s punches being answered with uppercuts from Scurll. Marty gets the upper hand and follows with a suplex on Midas. He then turns and kneels, lifting Midas’s head behind his knee! Dragon sleeper by Marty Scurll! Midas struggles a bit, but is able to shift his body weight to alleviate the pressure and ultimately turn his body weight towards the ground. Scurll, realizing that Midas is now in the DDT position, props his leg on the middle rope and pushes off, allowing him to hit a tornado DDT. As this occurs, Brayden Wolfe is able to get his foot on the ropes, breaking Knight’s hold. Midas and Wolfe take a few moments to reprieve as Knight and Scurll take notice of each other and start pushing each other.)
Barry Hanson - Hey Rogers, still think Wolfe has that potential lead?
Carl Rogers - I guess not… But I didn’t say he was definitely going to win. Now, we have a situation in which two men who started off the match getting a beating are now on top. Did either of you predict this based on those first few minutes?
Kyleigh “Spark” - I suppose not…
Keith Anderson - Hey, anything can happen. I’ve often been in situations where I seemed too forgone to win, yet still pulled it off.
(Knight and Scurll have now gone to full blows on one another. Knight whips Scurll into a corner and tries to follow with a corner clothesline, but ends up eating a boot from Scurll instead. Scurll follows up with a kick to a gut, and he sets knight up… dropping him hard with a cradle piledriver! He goes for the pin… 1! 2! BREAKUP by Alexander Midas. Midas hits Scurll with an enziguri and throws him out of the ring… he then walks right into a drop toe hold by David Knight, that transitions into a Koji Clutch! Midas yells and claws his way towards the ropes, but seems to be just a little too short, as his strength is failing fast… Midas seems like he’s about to pass out… BREAKUP by Brayden Wolfe! This match is going to continue! Wolfe wails away on Knight before throwing him out the ring towards Scurll. Wolfe turns to a resting Midas and smiles. Wolfe sets Midas up, and drops him for a powerbomb! He then delivers a standing moonsault with a pin press! 1! 2! KICKOUT by Midas. As this happens, Knight bashes Scurll’s head into the steel steps and kicks him in the gut… David drags Scurll to the end of the ramp and delivers a package piledriver to Marty! Marty’s head bounces off of the steel, and he rolls towards the barricade in a ton of pain. Back in the ring, Wolfe is scaling the ropes with Midas still being downed. Wolfe seems to indicate a Shooting Star Press… but David Knight grabs his leg! From the outside, Knight scales the turnbuckle so that both men are on the top rope. Wolfe clubs Knight, and it’s simply too much for Knight to answer to! Wolfe hooks David, and looks back at Midas, who’s still down. Wolfe then lifts Knight up and begins to drop down for a Super Brainbuster! Midas moves out of the way just in the nick of time!)
Carl Rogers - That’s gotta be it!
Barry Hanson - I gotta agree, there just isn’t any getting up from that in one piece.
Kyleigh “Spark” - Aren’t y’all forgetting someone?
Keith Anderson - They’ll figure it out, Kyleigh.
(Wolfe goes for a pin on Knight! 1! 2! Midas pulls Wolfe off of the slain beast and pushes him away. Midas then hits a super kick that sends Wolfe reeling out of the ring. Midas looks back to try and cover Knight, but walks into a small package! 1! 2! KICKOUT by Midas! Midas quickly makes his way back to his feet as Knight struggles but stirs. Midas quickly picks the man up and grabs ahold of him with a half nelson, then lifts him up… AN IVORY COAST from Alexander Midas! A quick cover! 1! 2! 3!)
Ring Announcer - Here is your winner… AND THE NEW NLW PURE CHAMPION: ALEXANDER “THE KING” MIDAS!
:: Alexander celebrates in the ring as Anderson enters the squared circle with the belt. He presents it to Midas and raises his arm in victory. Wolfe looks on a bit dazed, but visibly angry. Knight and Scurll lay wounded in their respective places as the camera pans back to the men in the ring. The image of Midas with the belt and Anderson raising his hand ultimately take Pandemonium off air. ::
