Thursday Night Pandemonium

August 10, 2017

Live from the AmericanAirlines Arena in Miami, Florida

:: NLW Pandemonium comes on the air as we are back in the dressing room. There is a crowd looking down at the ground and the camera gets closer to the crowd and pans down and sees Tommy Cruise laying on the ground on his stomach. No one seems to know what happened, as wrestlers like Carlos Ruiz, Murphy MacManus, Becky Lynch, and a few others are all trying to figure it out. Medical services are on the scene, as well as NLW officials and Commissioner Shawn Michaels. The scene fades to black as the NLW Intro video plays. ::

:: Fireworks go off in the sold out AmericanAirlines Arena and the camera pans around to see a raucous crowd. They’re all on their feet as they begin an “NLW! NLW! NLW! Chant. The camera cuts to the announce table, showing our usual suspects of Carl Rogers, Barry Hanson, and Kyleigh “Spark.” ::

Carl Rogers - We are coming to you LIVE from a sold out AmericanAirlines Arena in Miami, Florida! Hello everybody. I’m Carl Rogers. Alongside me, as usual, are Barry Hanson and Kyleigh “Spark!”

Kyleigh “Spark” - We’ve got an exciting night planned for you guys! But can we top what we saw last week at Vindication? Well, if anyone can, it will be Next Level Wrestling! But last week we saw it all: Carlos Ruiz defeating Hulk Hogan… “The Million Dollar Man” Ted DiBiase winning the Million Dollar Championship and keeping his money… Alexander “King” Midas retaining the Pure Championship… and, of course, my favorite match of the evening the four-Diva ladder match for the NLW Divas Championship! What a night it was, and tonight should be no different!

Barry Hanson - Don’t forget about the hardcore battle royal!

Carl Rogers - Now, we were supposed to begin this night with a match between Tommy Cruise and Jagen Hagar. However, as you saw when we came onto the air tonight, someone has gotten to Tommy Cruise and taken him out of commission for the evening. Who? We don’t know. No one seems to know. But I am sure that we will eventually find out.

Kyleigh “Spark” - In order to fill that time slot with something, we have put together this highlight package from NLW Vindication. Let’s take a look back at the action from last week!

:: We see a video montage of all of the happenings of last week: We see Jagen Hagar losing to Riddick Cage. We see Tazai Mitsubishi going through David Knight and Adrian Veidt. We see Ted DiBiase defeating Marty Scurll. We see the double count-out that leads to DiBiase getting a second round bye. We see Alexander Midas defeating Murphy MacManus. We see Becky Lynch snagging the Divas Championship on top of the ladder. We see Carlos Ruiz making Hulk Hogan tap out. Then we see Ted DiBiase winning the Million Dollar Championship and walking out with the belt and the briefcase. We cut back to Pandemonium. As we return from the video montage, the Hardy Boyz are in the ring and “No. 014, Moonlight Sonata: III” is playing. ::

Carl Rogers - Again, last week had some great action and we are about to begin our action for tonight! We’ve got the Hardy Boyz in the ring and they’re set to take on the two masked men who have been attacking members of the NLW roster left and right. No one knows who they are. No one knows what their agenda is. All we know is that they’re set for an official match tonight and I don’t know that I like the Hardy Boyz’ odds here.

Kyleigh “Spark” - Should be interesting to see what these two masked men do in the ring.

:: The music stops. No music plays for The Masked Men. We hear some commotion in the crowd on both sides of the arena. One of The Masked Men hops over the barricade into ringside right next to the Spanish announce table. The other hops over opposite of him over by the entrance ramp. The two look at the Hardy Boyz in the ring and slide in. The Hardy Boyz go to attack The Masked Men and the bell rings. ::

Carl Rogers - No waiting, here! We’re underway!

(Brother Jeff is laying right hands to one of The Masked Men. “Fixed” Matt Hardy is stomping on the other. The two masked men seem impervious to these shots as they continue to get to their feet without phase. The Hardy Boyz back up into the center of the ring and stand back-to-back. The referee is trying to gain control here. Masked Man #1 grabs Brother Jeff by the hair and lifts him off of the ground for a second. He throws Brother Jeff over the top rope and to the ring floor, landing on his face. Now alone in the ring, “Fixed” Matt has his head on a swivel as he watches both Masked Men approach him. The Masked Men now stand side-by-side as Matt stares at them. Matt charges the two but is met by a double clothesline from The Masked Men. Masked Man #1 grabs Matt and positions him for a powerbomb. He lifts Matt up and waits for a second as Masked Man #2 gets in position. Masked Man #1 begins to slam Matt with the powerbomb at the same time as Masked Man #2 delivers a neck-breaker to Matt. Matt is down and out as Masked Man #1 covers Matt casually. ONE! TWO! THREE!)

:: The bell rings and The Masked Me stare down at “Fixed” Matt Hardy. ::

Carl Rogers - My God! What an impact on that landing for Matt Hardy! The Masked Men make quick work of The Hardy Boyz!

:: Out of the back sprints Tommy Cruise wielding a sledge hammer. He slides into the ring and swings at Masked Man #1. He ducks out of the way and slides under the bottom rope to the outside. He runs at Masked Man #2 but he slides out of the ring before Cruise could mount any offense. ::

Carl Rogers - What is this all about? Tommy Cruise, who was presumably unconscious earlier, has come out to attack the masked men.

Kyleigh “Spark” - You might think maybe it was The Masked Men who attacked Tommy Cruise earlier tonight?

Carl Rogers - Yeah, that makes sense, but why? What do they want with Tommy Cruise?!

Barry Hanson - Why don’t you go and ask them, Carl? And ask who the hell they are while you’re at it!

:: We can hear The Masked Men laughing through their masks as we break to a commercial. We return from commercial and see our commentators at their desk. ::

Carl Rogers - Already an interesting evening. Tommy Cruise gets knocked out of commission by an unknown person. Then he comes out to attack The Masked Men after their match with The Hardy Boyz. You can assume that they are the ones who attacked Cruise earlier, but why?

Kyleigh “Spark” - Who knows, Carl? They’ve gone after everybody, so far.

:: “Real American” begins playing and the crowd goes crazy. Hulk Hogan comes out from the back posing for the crowd on the stage. He’s got his knee wrapped up from his match at Vindication. ::

Carl Rogers - But we are going to move along with our action! Here comes the Immortal Hulk Hogan! You can see he’s still feeling the effects of his match at Vindication.

Kyleigh “Spark” - That’s right, Carl. He’s got his knee wrapped up after Carlos Ruiz did some work on that leg. Carlos wore Hogan down all during that match. Then Carlos locked him in the Cangrejo Espanol and got Hulk Hogan to tap out. Hulk must have been in pain, because that’s not something you see every day.

:: Hogan steps into the ring and rips his Hulkamania t-shirt off and throws it into the crowd. His music fades. ::

P.A. System - HA HA HA HA HA HA HA!

:: “It’s All About the Money” hits throughout the AmericanAirlines Arena and the crowd begins booing. “The Million Dollar Man” Ted DiBiase makes his way out of the back with his Million Dollar Championship belt around his waist outside of his shiny tuxedo. He has a giant grin on his face as he stares smugly into the crowd. ::

Barry Hanson - Here comes our NLW Million Dollar Champion!

Carl Rogers - That’s right. Ted DiBiase survived two opponents to become the NLW’s first Million Dollar Champion AND retain his $1,000,000 prize! Of course, his path was easier than the rest because Bryan Danielson and Brayden Wolfe fought to a double countout, giving DiBiase the second round bye and a fast track into the finals!

Barry Hanson - Who cares how he got there? He did it… and I called it!

:: DiBiase steps into the ring and hands his belt to the ring attendant. He takes off his three piece tuxedo to reveal a pair of gold wrestling tights with black dollar signs on them. The music fades and the bell rings. ::

(DiBiase and Hogan tie it up in the middle of the ring. Hogan uses his strength and shoves DiBiase back into the corner. Hogan flexes for the crowd and gets a huge pop. DiBiase slowly exits the corner and the two circle the ring. They tie back up in the middle of the ring, but DiBiase quickly slides behind Hogan and puts him in a full nelson. After a few seconds, Hogan uses his strength and breaks the hold. He steps away from DiBiase and stares him in the eyes.)

Carl Rogers - An uncharacteristically slow start to an NLW match. These two are some of wrestling’s finest, though. I think they know what they’re doing.

Kyleigh “Spark” - I think Hogan is trying to keep this at a slow pace in order to keep too much from happening because of that knee.

(Hogan comes at DiBiase but DiBiase delivers an arm-drag takedown. Hogan gets up and charges DiBiase again but is met by another arm-drag takedown. He lands on his left side with a little bit of impact to the knee. Hogan rolls out of the ring to re-compose himself for a second. Hogan flexes his leg and straightens out his bad knee for a second then climbs up onto the ring apron and back into the ring. Hogan approaches DiBiase and swings with a clothesline but DiBiase ducks underneath and puts Hogan in a headlock. Hogan sends DiBiase into the ropes and DiBiase leads back with a shoulder tackle on his way back. Hogan’s size, however, causes DiBiase to take the brunt of the impact as he ricochets off of Hogan. DiBiase bounces off of the ropes and goes to attempt another shoulder tackle, but Hogan sidesteps DiBiase and throws him out of the ring through the middle ropes. DiBiase lands on the outside of the ring on his back. He lays there clutching his back as the referee begins the count. The crowd cheers as Hogan flexes for the crowd.)

Barry Hanson - Come on, Teddy! You got this!

(The referee’s count reaches four as DiBiase climbs up onto the ring apron on his knees. Hogan runs over and delivers a knee with his good knee to DiBiase’s chest and DiBiase flies back onto the arena floor. The referee reprimands Hogan for a second and begins the count again. DiBiase begins to climb back onto the ring apron, but once again is met by a running knee by Hogan. Hogan backs into the middle of the ring and flexes again for the crowd.)

Carl Rogers - It seems like Hulk Hogan is perfectly content with a countout win here, tonight.

Barry Hanson - What a coward!

(DiBiase makes it back onto the ring apron at the six mark of the referee’s count. Hogan runs over at DiBiase to deliver another knee, but DiBiase dodges it. He grabs Hogan from behind and delivers a reverse hangman across the back of Hogan’s neck on the top rope. The whiplash sends Hogan stumbling into the middle of the ring grabbing his neck. DiBiase slides into the ring and hooks Hogan up and delivers a hanging vertical suplex. He lifts Hogan’s upper body off of the mat and puts Hogan in a chinlock. Hogan’s face begins to turn bright red. The crowd begins clapping to try and get behind Hogan.)

Kyleigh “Spark” - The crowd is trying to get Hogan to hulk up here! He’s beginning to feel the crowd.

(Hogan rolls over onto his hip and gets up to his feet. How in a headlock, Hogan delivers an elbow to DiBiase’s midsection. And another. DiBiase breaks the hold. Hogan bounces off of the ropes but is met by a standing dropkick. This sends Hogan back into the ropes. DiBiase comes over and ties Hogan’s arms up into the ropes.)

Carl Rogers - This isn’t good for Hulk Hogan. He’s tied up into the ropes and DiBiase is yelling in his face.

(DiBiase yells something about being the best in the NLW and smacks Hogan across the face. Hogan’s eyes light up. The referee barks at DiBiase, but DiBiase hits Hogan with another smack across the face. Hogan purses his lips and begins shaking his head no. DiBiase smacks Hogan a third time but Hogan raises up and unties himself from the ropes. He points at DiBiase and wags his finger in DiBiase’s face. DiBiase has a look of concern on his face and goes to deliver a right hand. Hogan blocks it and delivers one of his own. DiBiase swings the right again and again it’s blocked. Hogan hits DiBiase with a right. Another right. Hogan is gaining the upper hand. He sends DiBiase to the ropes and delivers a huge right boot to the face.)

Carl Rogers - This could be it! Hogan is getting ready to take down the champ!

(Hogan bounces off of the ropes to deliver the Big Leg Drop, but Dibiase grabs the referee and pulls the referee towards Hogan and Hogan collides with the referee, who goes down in a heap. DiBiase rolls out of the ring and Hogan walks over to check on the referee. DiBiase grabs the Million Dollar Championship and slides into the ring and to his feet. Hogan turns around and DiBiase smashes Hogan over the head with the belt. Hogan falls to the mat and DiBiase tosses the belt out of the ring. DiBiase goes over to the referee and shakes him to wake him. DiBiase covers Hogan and the dazed referee slow counts. ONE……..TWO……...THREE!)

:: The bell rings and “It’s All About the Money” begins playing. DiBiase slides out of the ring and grabs his Million Dollar Championship. ::

Carl Rogers - What was that?! What a cheater!

Barry Hanson - He wasn’t cheating! He was trying to use the referee to pull himself to his feet. The referee is just not heavy enough! DiBiase accidentally pulled him into the line of fire.

Carl Rogers - Accident my tail! What do you call him hitting Hogan with the Million Dollar Championship?

Barry Hanson - He was just giving Hogan a closer view of the shininess of the belt.

Kyleigh “Spark” - By any means, Ted DiBiase picks up the win over Hulk Hogan.

Carl Rogers - That’s just sickening. We’ll be right back.

:: Cut to commercial break. When we return, the camera is on Carl Rogers at ringside. ::

Carl Rogers - Ladies and gentlemen! Earlier today we were able to ink one of this profession’s hottest stars! Sitting here in the front row tonight is NLW’s newest talent. Please welcome: Erik Black!

:: Black stands up and looks into the crowd casually. He just nods to the mixed reaction and sits back down. “Mazz Cumbias” plays over the arena speaker system as Carlos Ruiz makes his way down to the ring. The crowd cheers and chants “Spanish Eyes” as the gracious Spanish superstar winks and blows kisses to the crowd, he enters the ring. :: Carl Rogers – Last week we saw the Immortal Hulk Hogan fall to Carlos Ruiz in an instant classic! It was one of this business’ legendary competitors against one of our future stars! Kyleigh “Spark” – And the future star won! Carl Rogers – He sure did. And then moments ago you saw Hulk Hogan lose to “The Million Dollar Man” Ted DiBiase. Hulkster seems to be on a bit of a skid. Barry Hanson – What do you expect when you’re very far past your prime?

Kyleigh “Spark” - Who knows, Barry? One thing I DO know: I can’t wait to see what kind of talent Erik Black brings into the NLW ring! :: “Monster” plays over the arena speaker system as Bryan Danielson begins to make his way down the aisle way doing his patented “YES” taunt as the crowd chants along with him, even Carlos joins in with the fun chanting “Si!” Bryan makes his way into the ring. :: Carl Rogers – Carlos having a little fun with his opponent. Danielson looks very serious, though. Kyleigh “Spark” – Yes, he does. He’s probably got it in his mind that he is going to get back on a path to that Million Dollar Championship. Brayden Wolfe kept him from that last week with the double countout, mostly initiated by Wolfe. :: The music fades and the bell rings. :: (Carlos and Bryan circle each other in the ring. Carlos stops and offers a handshake. Bryan stops and stares at Carlos and then looks to the crowd as if to ask, “Should I do it?” The crowd answers back.) Crowd – YES! YES! YES! YES! YES! (Bryan and Carlos shake hands and proceed to transition into a collar and elbow tie up Carlos takes the advantage and transitions the hold into an arm ringer, Carlos wrenches the hold, Bryan reverses the arm ringer on Carlos into an arm ringer into his own on Carlos, Carlos shakes his head, Bryan releases the arm ringer into a side headlock, Bryan squeezes Carlos’s head, Carlos walks backwards into the ropes and pushes Bryan off him, Bryan runs into the opposite ropes and as he runs back towards Carlos he is met with a beautiful drop kick from Carlos dropping Bryan to the mat. Carlos gets up and bows to the crowd. Crowd - CARLOS! CARLOS! CARLOS! CARLOS! Barry Hanson – What is it with these people? They LOVE Carlos here in… oh wait… we are in Miami. (Bryan gets up and kicks Carlos in the gut, Carlos lurches forward, Bryan throws a European uppercut forcing Carlos reeling backwards into the ropes, Bryan follows up with a clothesline that sends Carlos flipping backwards over the top rope and to the outside. Bryan begins getting happy feet as the crowd starts to get excited, Carlos stands up, Bryan bounces off the opposite ropes, runs across the ring and attempts a suicide dive, Carlos ducks at the last moment and Bryan goes soaring into the ringside barricade, Carlos stands up and looks sorry for Bryan, but shrugs as he walks towards him. Carlos rolls Bryan back into the ring, Carlos stands on the ring apron beckoning Bryan to stand up. Bryan gingerly gets to his feet as Carlos executes a springboard dropkick on Bryan sending him bouncing like a ragdoll across the ring. Carlos gets up and quickly goes in for the pin. The referee counts One…Two… Bryan grabs the bottom rope to break the pin.) Kyleigh “Spark” – Smart ring awareness by Bryan Danielson right there! (Carlos picks Bryan up by the head, Carlos attempts a vertical suplex, Bryan throws a knee to the top of Carlos’s head causing Carlos to let Bryan down, Bryan attempts a suplex of his own, Carlos twists in mid air landing behind Bryan, Carlos grabs Bryan around the waist, Bryan throws a series of elbows, Carlos releases his grip, Bryan turns around locks his hands around Carlos’s wrists and attempts a monkey flip, Carlos lands on his feet, Bryan gets up and just as he turns around Carlos attempts the Spanish Eyes, Bryan ducks and reverses into a roll up, the referee drops down One…Two.. Carlos Kicks Out!) Carl Rogers – Danielson almost got one on Carlos! Carlos went with Spanish Eyes, missed, and almost paid for it! Barry Hanson – Come on Carlos! Get that moron! (Bryan and Carlos stand up at the same time, Bryan tries to punch Carlos, Carlos side steps and sends Bryan stumbling forward, Bryan turns around, both men tie up once again. Carlos positions his arms beneath Bryans and lift Bryan up into a belly to belly suplex. Carlos gets to his feet, picks Bryan up, Carlos tosses Bryan into the corner, Bryan lands with his back against the corner, Carlos charges and is met with mule kick to the chest from Bryan. Bryan follows up with a shotgun kick, sending Carlos to the mat on his back. Bryan runs back to the corner, he climbs onto the corner turnbuckle and signals for the flying head-butt.) Crowd – YES! YES! YES! YES! YES! Kyleigh “Spark” – Big head-butt coming from Bryan Danielson! (Bryan leaps, but Carlos stands up quickly and just as Bryan gets within distance Carlos throws the hardest and most impressive Spanish Eyes ever seen on television. Bryan’s body goes limp as he crashes to the canvas. Carlos goes in for the cover, One….Two….Threeeeee!!!!!) Carl Rogers – Oh my gosh! Carlos Ruiz catches Bryan Danielson in the Spanish Eyes as he leaps off of the top rope! Carlos remains undefeated in the NLW! Kyleigh “Spark” – That was just pure speed by Carlos Ruiz, there! He was playing a little bit of possum in the middle of the ring. Barry Hanson – Well, if Bryan hadn’t been too busy chanting “Yes!” then he might have won this match! Idiot!

:: Carlos continues celebrating as we move to a commercial break. We return from commercial break and David Knight is already in the ring. “For Whom the Bell Tolls” is playing and he paces the ring. ::

Carl Rogers - The big man, David Knight, is ready for a triple threat match. Knight looks to bounce back after being eliminated by Tazai Mitsubishi in the Million Dollar Tournament.

Kyleigh “Spark” - David Knight hasn’t been quite as successful as he would like to be up to this point. But you know he’s got the ability to turn that around in an instant!

:: The music fades and “The Warriors Code” begins playing. Murphy MacManus comes out to the ring to a huge ovation from the crowd. ::

Kyleigh “Spark” - The people really love Murphy, don’t they?

Barry Hanson - THEY sure do, but I can’t stand him!

Carl Rogers - Why not, Barry?

Barry Hanson - I can’t understand a word he says!

:: MacManus slides into the ring and “Too Many Years” begins playing over the P.A. System. Brayden Wolfe comes out to a chorus of boos. Big Steve and Kelsey follow behind as they all walk to the ring. ::

Carl Rogers - After a hot start to his career here, Brayden Wolfe has fizzled a little.

Kyleigh “Spark” - He has, BUT he is the type of guy who can become a major player again in no time!

Barry Hanson - You just said that about David Knight.

Kyleigh “Spark” - Well, it’s true for both.

:: Wolfe kisses Kelsey and slides into the ring. He paces around the ring for a second, his music fades, and the bell rings. ::

(Wolfe runs at Knight and jumps on him in the corner. MacManus comes over and the two of them are wailing on the big guy together. Knight slumps down in the corner and the other guys continue to kick him in the gut until he’s laying on the mat. Wolfe looks at MacManus, stunned at the unexpected partnership. He raises his hand for a high five. MacManus pretends to high five Wolfe but then kicks him in the gut. He hooks Wolfe up and delivers a vicious t-bone suplex. He pops to his feet and yells to the crowd as they cheer him. MacManus turns around and is bet by a hard clothesline from David Knight. The crowd boos as Knight bounces off of the ropes and splashes MacManus. He lays on top for the cover. ONE! TW… Kickout by MacManus before the two count.)

Kyleigh “Spark” - I’m afraid it’s going to take more than that to keep Murphy MacManus down. He’s been an exceptional competitor since arriving in the NLW.

Barry Hanson - But he hasn’t seen a size disadvantage quite like this!

(Knight picks MacManus up off of the ground and goes to bodyslam MacManus. But Wolfe is to his feet and he chops the left leg out from underneath David Knight. Knight falls to the mat and MacManus lands on top of him. ONE! Wolfe breaks up a quick, inadvertent cover. Wolfe stomps on the back of MacManus’ head and picks MacManus up off of the ground. He puts Murphy’s head under his right arm to deliver a DDT, but MacManus lifts Wolfe off of the ground and tosses him into the middle of the ring flat on his face. MacManus turns his attention back to David Knight and picks up the left leg of Knight. He begins kicking the back of the knee. The referee begins to count and MacManus backs off.)

Carl Rogers - Clearly, these two would like to take the legs out from the big man. If they can keep him grounded, that will limit his offense.

(MacManus picks Knight up off of the ground and sets him up into the corner. Out of the corner of his eye, he sees Wolfe getting to his feet. MacManus grabs Wolfe by the arm and Irish whips him into the corner opposite of Knight. MacManus goes back to Knight and grabs his left arm. He Irish whips Knight towards Wolfe to squash him in the corner. Wolfe ducks out of the way. Knight hits the turnbuckles hard and falls to his knees. Upon ducking out of the way, Wolfe runs and nails MacManus with a clothesline down to the canvas. Wolfe sprints back to the other end of the ring and jumps off of Knight’s back and onto the top turnbuckle.)

Kyleigh “Spark” - Great athleticism by Brayden Wolfe!

(Wolfe faces away from the other two competitors and waits for MacManus to get to his feet. MacManus is up and Wolfe leaps off of the turnbuckle with a moonsault. MacManus catches him in mid-air and hangs on with a bear hug. The referee is over asking Wolfe if he quits. Wolfe says no. Knight is to his feet and walks towards the other two. MacManus tosses Wolfe in Knight’s direction. Knight catches Wolfe and stick’s Wolfe’s head between his knees. Knight bends down and hooks Wolfe up for a package piledriver and nails it! Wolfe is out cold! Knight doesn’t have time to celebrate as MacManus runs at Knight and nails him with the Irish Hand Grenade! Knight falls backwards, through the ropes, and out of the ring. MacManus goes into the cover on Brayden Wolfe. ONE! TWO! THREE!)

:: The bell rings and “The Warriors Code” begins playing. MacManus stands up and stretches his arms out wide as the crowd cheers. Kelsey and Big Steve pull Wolfe out of the ring to lead him to the back. ::

Carl Rogers - Murphy MacManus continues to impress here in the NLW! He’s had the one hiccup last week to Alexander “King” Midas but has bounced back!

Kyleigh “Spark” - You can bet that MacManus will get a chance at a another title at some point. He’s too impressive to keep away!

:: We cut to a promo for NLW No Escape. We see images of many different NLW superstars and front office members. Then we see the logo and the date September 1, 2017 on the screen. We come back to live action as “I’m Shipping Up To Boston” plays over the arena sound system. Marcus O’Hara makes his way down to the ring to a raucous sound of boos and hateful comments from the crowd, he’s visibly stumbling and appears to be intoxicated. He rolls under the bottom rope and leans against the roped for support. :: Carl Rogers – That’s right, folks. NLW No Escape on Friday September 1, 2017! We cannot wait! Surely it will match the intensity that Vindication brought last week!

Kyleigh “Spark” - Moving on to the match that we’re about to have... At what point will Marcus O’Hara get his drinking under control? He’s got the potential to be a really good wrestler! Barry Hanson – He IS a really good wrestler, Kyleigh! And don’t worry about that! That’s HIS life, not yours! :: “Fatal” plays over the arena sound system as Tazai Mistubishi struts down the ramp adjusting his wrist tape as he walks. The crowd gives him a mixed reaction of boos and cheers, clearly a divided arena. He runs up the steps and jumps into the ring. :: Kyleigh “Spark” – Here is Tazai Mistubishi, the Psycho Tiger. He’s looking to bounce back from that devastating loss at Vindication against Ted DiBiase, losing the NLW Million Dollar Championship and a briefcase full of cash. Carl Rogers – We will see if he can overcome Marcus O’Hara, who is having trouble getting to his feet at the moment. :: “Fatal” fades and the referee calls for the bell. :: (Tazai begins to circle the ring around Marcus, Marcus stumbles towards Tazai and attempts to connect with a stiff right jab, Tazai ducks under, Marcus throws a haymaker left, Tazai ducks under again, Marcus spins around like a top and Tazai grabs Marcus from behind and locks in the Tiger Grip! Tazai begins violently thrashing Marcus O’Hara back and forth.) Kyleigh “Spark” – Tazai is just plain manhandling Marcus O’Hara right now! (The referee asks Marcus if he wishes to continue. Marcus refuses to give up. Tazai lurches forward and thrusts his hips lifting Marcus and dropping him on his head into a bridging Tiger Suplex! The referee drops down, One…Two…Thr…Marcus Kicks out at two and three quarters.) Carl Rogers – That was a close one! (Tazai gets to his feet. Marcus lays prone on the ground. Tazai grabs Marcus by the left leg and drags him to the center of the ring, Tazai begins kicking behind Marcus’s knee with five quick kicks, he grabs Marcus’s left leg and executes a Single Leg DDT, and quickly spins it into the 6 O’Clock! Marcus struggles to keep from submitting as he realizes he is in the center of the ring. Marcus pushes up and pulls himself slowly to the ropes to break the hold. The referee beings to count, One, Two, Three, Tazai releases the hold.) Crowd - Boooooooooo! (Marcus is struggling to get to his feet and he’s favoring his left leg, Tazai realizes Marcus is in distress and smells the blood in the water, he begins to stalk towards Marcus, Tazai grabs Marcus and attempts an Irish Whip into the ropes, Marcus reverses sending Tazai into the ropes, Tazai rushes towards Marcus, Marcus attempts a clothesline, Tazai ducks under and hits the opposite ropes, Marcus turns around just as Tazai meets his head with a walloping 12 O’Clock that sends Marcus end over end flopping to the canvas.) Crowd - HOLY SHIT! HOLY SHIT! HOLY SHIT! (Tazai moves in for the cover and hooks the injured left leg of Marcus, the referee begins the count, One….Two….Threeeeeeee!) :: The bell rings and “Fatal” begins playing. :: Carl Rogers – What a dominating victory by Tazai Mitsubishi! Very impressive!

:: The scene cuts to the back in the dressing area. Tommy Cruise is walking around searching for The Masked Men. He still has the sledge hammer in his hand and is yelling “WHERE ARE THEY?!” We fade to a commercial break. When we come back “Light Up The Background” hits over the P.A. System as Kay Lee Ray begins making her way to the ring. :: Carl Rogers – Here comes Kay Lee Ray. I am sure she’s disappointed about last week at Vindication. She really had her heart set on becoming the NLW Divas Champion. Kyleigh “Spark” – She sure did. Becky Lynch escaped with the win and the title. Carl, how about what we saw before the break? Tommy Cruise is still looking for The Masked Men!

Carl Rogers - There’s something serious brewing here in the NLW between Tommy Cruise and The Masked Men!

Kyleigh “Spark” - Anyway, going back to the present, you can bet Kay Lee Ray plans on getting her shot at Becky Lynch somewhere down the road. Barry Hanson – Not if this next lady has anything to say about that! :: Kay Lee gets into the ring and her music fades. “Freeway Bound” hits and Monique Browning steps out to a chorus of boos. She has a new guitar strapped to her that says “Lucy III” on it. She walks down the ramp and slides into the ring, still with the guitar. :: Carl Rogers – Surely she’s going to get rid of that guitar before this match starts. Barry Hanson – I hope not! I want to see Lucy IV! :: Monique takes the guitar off and sets it outside of the ring. “Celtic Invasion” hits and the crowd goes nuts. :: Carl Rogers – And here comes the NLW Divas Champion! Kyleigh “Spark” – Social media has been buzzing all week about Becky Lynch. There are a lot of people who think she could be the Divas Champion for a long time! Barry Hanson – Again… not if Monique has anything to say about that! :: Becky climbs into the ring and shows off her NLW Divas Championship. She holds it up high as the crowd cheers. She hands it to the ring attendant and the music fades. The bell rings. :: (This one starts in a fury as Monique attacks Becky while she is handing the attendant the belt. She throws some fists to the back of Becky’s head and Becky is on the ground holding her neck in the corner. Kay Lee Ray comes over and grabs Monique by the hair. She winds up and throws Monique halfway across the ring. Monique grabs her head as Kay Lee comes towards her. Monique grabs both legs of Kay Lee Ray and pulls them out from under her. She starts throwing lefts and rights into Kay Lee’s body. Kay Lee Ray rolls over and starts hitting Monique. Monique rolls over on top of Kay Lee Ray but the two roll to the outside. They begin trading blows on the floor while Becky is stirring in the corner.) Kyleigh “Spark” – This has turned into a heated brawl really fast, Carl. Carl Rogers – It sure has. Barry Hanson – Get her, Monique! (The two continue trading blows as Becky Lynch gets to her feet. She runs and bounces off of the opposite ropes and dives through onto Monique and Kay Lee with a suicide dive to the outside. She is slow to get to her feet, as the move took a little out of her as well. She picks Monique up and rolls her into the ring and then slides in after her. She gets to her feet as she begins stomping on the midsection of Monique Browning. She pulls Monique up by her hair to the referee’s warning. She sends Monique into the ropes with an Irish whip and goes to clothesline Monique. Monique ducks and bounces off of the opposite ropes. However, Kay Lee Ray reaches into the ring and trips Monique and she falls flat on her face. Kay Lee climbs up onto the ring apron and Becky walks towards Monique. Becky bends over to pick Monique up, but Kay Lee springboards into a sunset flip on Becky. ONE! TWO! Kickout by Becky Lynch. Kay Lee and Becky get up to their feet quickly and look at each other. Becky has a little smirk of being impressed on her face. The two lock up in the middle of the ring. Becky puts Kay Lee in a headlock and Kay Lee sends her to the ropes. Kay Lee hits the deck and Becky runs over her. Monique is up and delivers a dropkick to Becky. She’s up quickly and Kay Lee matches her, but is met by a dropkick by Monique. Kay Lee Ray gets up to one knee but Monique kicks her in the side of the head, right in the ear. Kay Lee rolls around on the canvas holding her ear as Monique walks over to Becky and kicks her in the head, as well. She looks at the crowd and puts her arms out as the crowd boos.) Barry Hanson – Yeah! You’re the woman, Monique! Carl Rogers – Cut it out, Barry. (Monique walks over to Becky, but Becky rolls her up in a small package. ONE! TWO! Kickout by Monique. She rolls onto Kay Lee for the cover. ONE! TWO! THRE… Broken up by Becky Lynch!) Kyleigh “Spark” – Boys, that was as close as you could get to a three count! Becky Lynch saves the match by a hair! Barry Hanson – I hate these matches! Monique should have her hand raised in victory by now. (Monique is frustrated and rolls out of the ring. She grabs Lucy III and slides in with it. The referee reprimands her in the corner and the two are fighting over the guitar. Becky Lynch is up and Kay Lee Ray is stirring. Becky hooks Kay Lee up and delivers the Bexploder! She goes for the cover but the referee is busy with Monique in the corner. The referee turns around and sees Becky covered on the unconscious Kay Lee Ray and goes for the count. ONE! TWO! THREE!) Carl Rogers – And the champion prevails! She shows, once again, why she’s the best in the NLW Divas Division! Barry Hanson – I can’t believe it! Poor Monique! She can’t catch a break! That’s the referee’s fault! He pushed her out of the ring! Kyleigh “Spark” – He most certainly did not! We all saw it! She fell down!

Carl Rogers - Coming up after the break we’ve got our main event: Alexander “King” Midas defends his NLW Pure Championship against Adrian Veidt! We will be right back!

:: Fade to commercial. When we return, “Gold” by Sir Sly plays over the P.A. system as Alexander Midas emerges from the back with the Pure Title around his waist he approaches the ring with a bit of a strut before mounting a corner and raising the title high above his head and getting in the ring. :: Ring Announcer - The following contest is scheduled for one fall, and is for the NLW Pure Championship! Making his way to the ring, from Cape Town, South Africa… weighing in at 240 pounds, ALEXANDER “KING” MIDAS! Barry Hanson - What an athlete! It’s a shame that he’s gotta waste his time with these other fools. Carl Rogers - Hanson, did you even pay attention to Veidt’s performance at Vindication? Kyleigh “Spark” - Indeed, Veidt did pretty well in the Million Dollar Tournament, even if he ultimately didn’t walk away with the win. :: “A World Divided” by Pyramaze plays over the P.A. system as Adrian Veidt makes his way to the ring. He slides in under the bottom rope and stares down Midas. :: Barry Hanson - This seems so backwards. Midas could be a future World Champion, the face of this company even! Yet, we peg him as the consolation prize for the losers of the Million Dollar Championship Tournament. Kyleigh “Spark” - Adrian Veidt honestly makes a convincing candidate for a Pure Title run, you’re truly underestimating the man, Hanson. Carl Rogers - Indeed! Veidt could very well walk out of here win the Pure Title if he sends Midas to Utopia! (The bell rings as the two men circle the ring. Veidt throws a kick to Midas’s gut. Alexander answers with a punch, and the two begin to trade blows for a few seconds. Midas is able to catch Veidt off guard with a leg sweep. Veidt is quick to get back to his feet, but Midas takes advantage of the setback with a few major clubbing blows and a kick to the gut. Midas then grabs Veidt and hits him with a neckbreaker! Midas follows this up with a chin lock, establishing a clear upper hand right from the start. After a few cranks, Alex lets go of Veidt’s neck and delivers a boot to the back of his head. Midas taunts a bit before climbing to the second rope and delivering an elbow drop. Midas proceeds to kick the downed German before picking him back up. Midas hits a few knees to Veidt’s face before throwing him to a turnbuckle. Midas charges at Veidt and hits him with a clothesline to the turnbuckle. Midas uses a snapmare to get Veidt away from the ropes. He hits a dropkick to the back of a seated Veidt. Midas goes for the pin! 1! 2! KICKOUT by Veidt.) Barry Hanson - Midas is already using quite a bit of his arsenal to get the upper hand on this second-rate loser. Carl Rogers - There’s a lot of wrestling left in both men, I doubt Veidt would surrender the chance at gold so easily. It isn’t over until the fat lady sings, Hanson. Barry Hanson - I know that Carl! That’s why I have something already prepared for Kyleigh after this match! Kyleigh “Spark” - Shut up and call the damn match, you pig! (Midas measures up Veidt and as the German gets to his feet, Midas goes for a Midas Touch! But Veidt ducks under and counters with a German Suplex that he bridges for a quick pin! 1! KICKOUT by Midas. Midas is quick to get back to his feet but Veidt is already taking advantage of this counter and delivers enough blows to back him into a corner. Veidt hits a dropkick to Midas’s chest that sends the Pure champ stumbling forward. Veidt follows this with a bulldog to the champ, grounding both of them. Veidt follows this up with an elbow chin lock. He pulls far back on Midas’s neck and spine, but midas uses his free arms to drag himself to the ropes! The ref breaks the hold between the two. Veidt picks up Midas and hits a suplex to move the champ more to the center of the ring. Veidt then measures Midas, waiting for him to get back to his feet. Veidt then runs to the ropes and bounces off, delivering a springboard enziguri! He goes for the cover! 1! 2! KICKOUT by Alex Midas. Veidt picks up Midas and kicks him in the gut! He then drops him down for a crucifix powerbomb! It seems like Midas might be out of it, but Veidt decides instead to call for the Kawada Driver!) Carl Rogers - This could honestly be it for this Pure title reign! The Kawada Drive is devastating! Kyleigh “Spark” - Hey Hanson, are you sure you aren’t ready to pass that thing you prepared me earlier? Barry Hanson - You both are damned idiots. (Veidt lifts Midas for it, but Alex propels himself up and is able to flip over Veidt. Midas lands neckfirst on the ropes and stumbles back. Veidt uses this as an advantage and springboards off the ropes to hit Utopia! Veidt and Midas both hit the mat with a thud and Adrian turns Alex over for the cover! 1! 2! ROPE BREAK by Alexander Midas! Veidt beats the mat in anger and pulls Midas away from the ropes. Veidt seems to be calling for the Kawada Driver again. Veidt goes for the kick to Midas’s gut again, but Midas catches him this time and hits a punch to Veidt’s jaw. Midas whips Veidt into the ropes and hits him with a hip toss neckbreaker on the rebound! Both men are able to quickly make it to their feet, but the dazed Veidt stumbles right into a Midas Touch! Alex goes for the cover! 1! 2! 3!) Ring Announcer - Here is your winner and still the NLW Pure Champion… ALEXANDER MIDAS! Barry Hanson - HAHA! I knew it! Midas is walking out of here as the Pure champion! Carl Rogers - Like it or not folks, that was a really good match. Kyleigh “Spark” - Indeed. We hope you all join us next week for more great high-impact wrestling! Barry Hanson - What’s the matter you two? Cat got your tongue all of a sudden? :: Hanson’s jeers over the imagery of a celebrating Midas take us off air. ::
