Thursday Night Pandemonium

August 17, 2017

Live from the Smoothie King Center in New Orleans, Louisiana

:: As the NLW Pandemonium intro video finishes playing, we scan around the sold out Smoothie King Center in New Orleans, Louisiana. ::

Carl Rogers - Welcome everybody to New Orleans, Louisiana! Welcome to the Smoothie King Center, the home of the New Orleans Pelicans! Welcome to Pandemonium!

:: The camera focuses in on the broadcast table. ::

Carl Rogers - I’m Carl Rogers and with me, as usual, are Barry Hanson and the lovely Kyleigh “Spark!”

Kyleigh “Spark” - We have a great night planned for you all. We will see the debuts of the two newest competitors in the NLW, Erik Black and Chris Moxley! We will see a triple threat match between Riddick Cage, Tommy Cruise, and Marcus O’Hara. We’ve got a mixed tag team match between Murphy MacManus and the NLW Divas Champion Becky Lynch going up against Monique Browning and the NLW Million Dollar Champion Ted DiBiase! And, as usual, the NLW Pure Champion Alexander “King” Midas puts his title and undefeated record on the line. This time he does so against Carlos Ruiz and HIS undefeated record! Someone is walking out of that one with their first loss, tonight!

Barry Hanson - And it’s gonna be Carlos! Sure, everybody loves him, but Alexander Midas is far too superior to him! The Pure Championship stays where it belongs tonight!

Kyleigh “Spark” - You can see in the ring that Savio Antonio awaits his opponent. Chris Moxley, signed just a few days ago, is set to make his debut.

:: “The Vengeful One” by Disturbed begins to play as Chris Moxley steps out from the locker room. ::

Ring Announcer - And his opponent, from Seattle, Washington, weighing in at 228 pounds… Chris… Moxley!

Carl Rogers - And here we go! As Kyleigh said moments ago, Chris Moxley, signed to the NLW earlier this week, looks to start things off on the right foot! He will face off against Savio Antonio. Savio is looking to get his first win in the NLW.

Barry Hanson - And Savio is going to do it! Calucha is going to take it to another level against Chris Moxley… but then again, I like this Moxley guy, too. Hell, I don’t know who to root for!

Kyleigh “Spark” - How about instead of rooting for someone you just call the match?

:: Moxley gets into the ring and looks over at Savio. He grins as his music fades and the bell rings. ::

(Chris Moxley walks over towards Savio and gets in Savio’s face. He has a slight height advantage over Savio, but Savio has about forty pounds on Moxley. The portly Savio Antonio shoves Moxley. Moxley shoves Savio back and into the corner. Moxley begins a series of right hands to Savio’s face. Moxley grabs the mask of Savio in an attempt to rip it off, but Savio ducks down and through the ropes to the outside. The referee tells Moxley to back off as the crowd boos Savio.)

Barry Hanson - What is he doing? You never unmask a luchadore!

Carl Rogers - Luchadore? He’s 275 pounds! What high flying have you ever seen the “luchadore” from LOS ANGELES do?

Barry Hanson - He sure can fly around that ring… when people are throwing him.

(Savio slides back into the ring. He ducks a Moxley clothesline attempt, bounces off the ropes, but is met by a Chris Moxley dropkick. Moxley gets back up to his feet and picks Savio up off of the ground. He lifts Savio up and delivers a textbook inverted atomic drop. Savio hops around holding his groin. He comes back around to Moxley and Moxley delivers a spinebuster. He goes for the cover. One! Two! Kickout by Savio Antonio. Moxley grabs Savio up off of the ground and Irish whips him into the corner. Savio bounces off of the turnbuckles and Moxley bounces off of the ropes. He returns and delivers a running bulldog to Savio.)

Kyleigh “Spark” - You know, as announcers we get a list of moves on every competitor so that we know what to call them whenever they’re executed. Earlier this week, Chris Moxley alluded to the “Moxic Injection.” That’s not one that’s on our list, so I am eager to see what it looks like!

(Moxley flips Savio over and runs over to the corner. Moxley climbs up to the top turnbuckle and delivers a 450 splash on Savio!)

Barry Hanson - Was THAT the Moxic Injection?

Kyleigh “Spark” - No, that was just a 450 splash.

(Instead of going for the cover, Moxley picks Savio’s limp body up off of the ground. He hooks Savio up and picks him up off of the ground and delivers a package piledriver! He goes for the cover on Savio. One! Two! Three!)

:: The bell rings and Moxley hops up and raises his arms. ::

Ring Announcer - Here is your winner… Chris Moxley!

Barry Hanson - There it was! There’s the Moxic Injection!

Kyleigh “Spark” - Uh, no. This says here that he just beat Savio with “Moxicity.”

Barry Hanson - Well, what in the hell is the Moxic Injection?!

Kyleigh “Spark” - I guess only Chris Moxley knows the answer to that one.

:: Moxley celebrates as he exits the ring. He begins to head to the back as we cut back to the announce table. ::

Carl Rogers - Impressive showing by Chris Moxley in his debut! I wonder if Erik Black can top that.

Barry Hanson - You know he will. He’s the hottest new thing this company has!

Carl Rogers - Last week on Pandemonium, we saw Erik Black in the front row. He was undoubtedly scouting the competition.

Barry Hanson - And probably getting bored! I can’t wait to watch this guy!

:: “The Baron” by Johnny Cash plays throughout the arena as Baron Von D hops a guardrail and slides into the ring. ::

Ring Announcer - Introducing first… Baron Von D!

Carl Rogers - And Erik Black will get his first taste of NLW action against The Baron.

Kyleigh “Spark” - Baron Von D has fully recovered from his concussion, one he suffered at the hands of Brother Jeff at Vindication when Brother Jeff nailed him in the head with a wrench!

:: “Death Trend Setta” by Crossfade begins to play and Erik Black steps out from the locker room and begins walking towards the ring. ::

Carl Rogers - Erik Black sure looks determined to handle business here, tonight.

Ring Announcer - And his opponent… from Los Angeles, California… weighing in at 220 pounds… Erik Black!

:: Black slides into the ring and stares down Baron Von D from across the ring. Baron Von D removes his monocle and the bell rings. ::

(Erik Black approaches Baron Von D with his fists up. Baron charges Black but Black delivers a strong right hand to Baron’s face. Then a left. He backs Baron Von D up in the corner nailing lefts and rights. The referee warns Black about opening the hands. He begins counting. One. Two. Three. Four. And Black stops before the count reaches five. Baron Von D slumps in the corner. Black sets Baron up on the top turnbuckle. Black begins to climb and positions Baron Von D on his feet on the top rope. Black hooks Baron Von D up and delivers a belly-to-belly suplex from the top turnbuckle. Von D lands hard and looks very out of it.)

Carl Rogers - Erik Black beginning this match in a furious way!

Barry Hanson - Don’t act so surprised, Rogers!

(Black gets back to his feet and walks over to Baron Von D. He picks Baron up off of the ground who delivers a weak punch to the abdomen of Erik Black. Black laughs and asks Baron to hit him again. Baron delivers another weak punch to the gut. Black, with a smirk on his face, picks Baron Von D up and piledrives him to the mat. Baron Von D lies on the mat motionless as Erik Black looks out into the crowd and raises his arms up to a mixed reaction.)

Kyleigh “Spark” - Sounds like the NLW Universe doesn’t quite know what to think about Erik Black yet.

Barry Hanson - Well, half of them are idiots and the other half are smart enough to see greatness!

(Black bends down and picks Baron up off of the mat and Irish-whips him into the ropes. Black bounces off of the ropes opposite of Baron for a running start and jumps and delivers Babayega! Baron Von D crashes to the mat, as he is out cold.)

Carl Rogers - This needs to end soon. The man is returning from a concussion and I’m not so sure he doesn’t have another!

(Black, toying with Baron Von D now, grabs Baron and locks him into a Muy Thai clinch. He delivers a few knees to Baron Von D’s face, executes a textbook swinging neckbreaker, and then locks Baron Von D in an anaconda choke. The referee goes to check on Baron to see if he submits, but Baron Von D is unresponsive. The referee calls for the bell as it rings.)

:: Erik Black releases the hold as “Death Trend Setta” begins playing again. ::

Ring Annoucer - Your winner, as a result of knockout… Erik Blaaaack!

Kyleigh “Spark” - Very impressive. Erik Black calls that series of maneuvers the “Symphony of Violence.” Baron Von D is out cold and here comes medical attention.

:: Medical attention goes to the aid of Baron Von D as Erik Black exits the ring. ::

Barry Hanson - That one was over from the start! Like I said… the next big thing in Next Level Wrestling!

:: “WHAT DO WE WANT! WHAT DO WE NEED? HEAD! HEAD! HEAD!” followed by Insane in the Membrane by Cypress Hill blasts throughout the arena. The NLWtron cuts to HEAD next to a half-drank, purple-colored Smoothie and an ashtray with a lit Camel Non-Filter cigarette burning. :: HEAD (Morgan Freeman Voice) – Erik Black. I see something dangerous in you and I like it. So next week you will get the chance to beat Jagen Hagar for a chance to earn a spot in the Fatal Fourway Hardcore Ironman Match. If you can beat Jagen Hagar, you will earn your spot. THE GIFT OF HEAD HAS BEEN GIVEN!

Barry Hanson - See? Even Head knows how good Erik Black is!

:: We see Erik Black exit to the locker room as the scene fades to a commercial. When we return, “Sher (Lion)” is playing and Jinder Mahal is in the ring. ::

Carl Rogers - Welcome back to Pandemonium. We just witnessed two impressive debuts to start the show, as Chris Moxley and Erik Black easily handled their competition.

Kyleigh “Spark” - And, as you see Jinder Mahal in the ring, we await the arrival of Brayden Wolfe for our next match-up.

Ring Announcer - Already in the Ring… JIIINNNDDEEERRR MAAAHHHAALLLL! :: “Too Many Years” by Kodak Black plays throughout the arena as Brayden Wolfe walks onto the ramp. He is accompanied by his girlfriend Kelsey and his bodyguard Big Steve. :: Ring Announcer - Making his way to the ring… from Peterborough, Ontario, Canada… The Pretty Boy… BRAYYYYDDDOOONNNN WOOOLLLFFEE! Kyleigh “Spark” – Braydon Wolfe is looking to turn it around after a couple of tough weeks. Carl Rogers – Wolfe is more than capable in that ring. I have a feeling he wants to make a statement. Barry Hanson - No one makes a statement against royalty like Jinder Mahal! :: The Bell Rings. :: (Mahal charges at Wolfe, but Wolfe ducks the Clothesline attempt, hops on and off the rope and catches Mahal off-guard with a Springboard Cross Body Block. Instead of going for the pin, Wolfe grabs Mahal, but Mahal catches Wolfe with an Elbow to the gut. Mahal sets up for a Suplex, but as he lifts Wolfe, Wolfe escapes out the back, grabs the shoulder of Mahal, spins him around and hits him with a kick to the gut. Wolfe sets him up, and drives him down with a Package Piledriver. Wolfe heads to the corner, hops on the top turnbuckle. Wolfe sets himself up.. he leaps… and connects with the Shooting Star Press! He hooks the legs… the ref counts…ONE…TWO…THREE!) Ring Announcer - Here is your winner… BRRAAYYDDOONNNN WOOLLLFFEEEE! Kyleigh "Spark" - He made extremely quick work of the big man. Backstage better take notice. The Pretty Boy is back.

Carl Rogers - Great performance from Wolfe. He dominated Mahal and ended it before Mahal could try to mount a comeback.

:: Wolfe exits the ring with Kelsey and Big Steve. We cut to a short promo for NLW No Escape, coming live from The Staples Center in Los Angeles on September 1, 2017. We return to the ring for our next match-up. “Monster” by Imagine Dragons plays and the crowd raises to their feet. They begin a “YES!” chant as Bryan Danielson makes his way to the ring. ::

Ring Announcer - Introducing First… Hailing from Aberdeen, Washington… BRRYYYAAANNNN DANNIEELLLSSOOOOONNNN! Kyleigh “Spark” - Bryan Danielson is trying to bounce back after a tough loss from the Spanish Sensation, Carlos Ruiz. Carl Rogers - Bryan Danielson is as technically sound as they come. He has a bright future in NLW! Barry Hanson - NO! Please God NO! NOOOOOOO!

:: “For Whom the Bell Tolls” begins playing. :: Ring Announcer - And his opponent, hailing from Sacramento, California… DAAVVVVIDDDD KNNIIIIIGGGHHHHTTTT! :: Ten seconds of David Knight’s theme music plays and Knight still has not appeared on the ramp. :: Carl Rogers - Ladies and gentlemen, I am getting word that we are cutting live to an incident happening right now backstage. :: The camera cuts to backstage area. The Masked Men are stomping on a downed David Knight. Masked Man #1 walks into a locker room and comes out with a 42” Plasma TV. He calls out to Masked Man #2. Masked Man #2 grabs Knight, puts his knee into Knight’s back, and pulls Knight’s arms back. Masked Man #1 walks up and smashes the TV into the face of Knight, leaving Knight a bloody mess. Not to be outdone, Masked Man #2 heads in the same locker room, and he comes out with a metal trash can and a chair. Masked Man #2 throws the trash can to Masked Man #1. Masked Man #1 takes the lid off, drives it into the side of Knight then tosses it aside before placing the trash can across the face of Knight. Masked Man #2 walks up and clams the chair into the trashcan. He then puts the chair across the bloody, unconscious face of Knight. Masked Man #1 gets in front of Knight and takes a knee. Masked Man #2 takes a few strides backwards, then charges. He steps on Masked Man #1’s back and connects with a Swanton Dive atop the chair. The two Masked Men look down at the unconscious Knight before slowly walking away as EMTs arrive on the scene. :: Kyleigh “Spark” - That is just disgusting. Someone needs to put a stop to them. Carl Rogers - Two-on-one is never a fair match! Especially when the two are as psychotic as this duo seems to be. Barry Hanson - Maybe the ones they attack deserve it? Ever think of that?

Kyleigh “Spark” - In any event, we are going to move on with the action here, tonight.

:: “Real American” begins playing and the crowd goes crazy. Hulk Hogan comes out from the back posing for the crowd on the stage. As he makes his way to the ring, Hulk Hogan is giving high fives all around and kissing babies. ::

Ring Announcer - The following contest is scheduled for one fall! Introducing first, from Venice Beach, California… he is the Immortal Huuuuuulk Hoooooogan! Carl Rogers – Here comes the Immortal Hulk Hogan! Kyleigh “Spark” – Unfortunately, he hasn’t looked so “Immortal” since arriving in the NLW! He looks to turn it around tonight against Adrian Veidt. :: “A World Divided” by Pyramaze plays over the P.A. System as Adrian Veidt makes his way to the ring. He slides in under the bottom rope and stares down Hogan. :: Barry Hanson - And Hogan’s streak of losing will continue tonight! Adrian Veidt was unable to walk away with the Pure Championship last week, but we know that he is well-worthy of championship gold here in Next Level Wrestling! Kyleigh “Spark” - I will agree with you there. Adrian Veidt, despite a few stumbles, is an impressive competitor!

Ring Announcer - And his opponent, from Berlin, Germany… weighing in at 195 pounds… Adriaaaaan Veiiiidt! :: Veidt cracks his neck and stretches a little using the ropes as his music fades. The bell rings. :: (Adrian Veidt is sizing up the bigger Hulk Hogan as they circle each other. They lock up, Veidt manages to slide behind Hogan, then releases the hold and connects with a European Uppercut, throwing Hogan off-balance. Veidt delivers another European Uppercut. He grabs the head of Hulk, sets up, and drives the bigger Hogan to the mat with a Snap Suplex. Veidt walks over to Hogan, he leans over to grab Hogan but is met with a hard right hand. Then another hard right as Hulk gets a knee. Then one as Hulk gets to his feet and one once on his feet. Hulk grabs the arm of Veidt and whips him into the ropes. Veidt bounces off, Hogan goes for a Big Boot, but Veidt slides under then charges at the ropes. He hops on then off the ropes and connects with a Springboard Dropkick, knocking The Hulkster to the mat. Veidt hooks the legs… the ref counts… One..Tw..kickout by Hogan.) Barry Hanson - Adrian is very impressive already in this match! Kyleigh “Spark” - That he is, Barry. Hulk Hogan must get things going in order to avoid another loss! (Veidt gets his feet bounces off the ropes, attempting a Rolling Elbow, but Hogan is able to move at the last second. Veidt gets to his feet, shaking off the pain in his Elbow. Hogan charges at Veidt, as Veidt turns to Hogan he is knocked down a Clothesline. Veidt immediately uses his leg strength to flip right back up. But Hogan was ready for the speed of Veidt and connects with another Clothesline. Hogan bounces off the ropes, he goes for the Leg Drop, but Veidt moves at the last second. Veidt runs towards the ropes, again he hops on and off, this time, connecting with a Springboard Enziguri. He quickly goes for the cover…the ref counts… One…Tw…kickout by Hogan.) Barry Hanson - Another close one! Kyleigh “Spark” - Hogan with some offense, finally. Carl Rogers - Yes, but Adrian Veidt continues to pour it on here. (Veidt wastes no time and hits the downed Hogan with a few stomps. Veidt makes his way to the corner. He hops on the top turnbuckle, then turns and sets up. However, before he gets set up, Hogan is on top of him with some hard right hands to the face of Veidt. Hogan climbs up to the 2nd turnbuckle. He grabs Veidt, sets him, and they both crash into the mat with a SuperPlex by Hogan. Both men are down. It takes Hogan a few seconds before he can get to Veidt for the cover…the ref counts… One…Tw…kickout by Veidt. Hogan grabs Veidt and locks him in a Headlock. Hogan is squeezing his 24 inch pythons around the head of Veidt, who is losing the color in his face. Yet, Veidt manages to push Hogan off him and into the ropes, Veidt drops to the mat, causing Hogan to go over Veidt and continue to the ropes. As Hogan bounces off, he catches Veidt as Veidt attempts a Cross Body Block. Hogan uses his strength to transition into a Body Slam. Instead of going for the pin, Hogan poses for the crowd. The crowd erupts in cheers.)

Carl Rogers - Hogan finally has the upper hand.

Barry Hanson - And, like an idiot, he’s wasting time!

(After finished hyping the fans, Hogan walks over to Veidt and leans over to grab him by the head, but Veidt manages to connect with a kick to the head of Hogan, staggering the big man a bit. Veidt hops to his feet, he connects with a European Uppercut, then another. He drives a knee into the gut of Hogan. He grabs Hogan, sets him up, and drives Hogan hard to the mat with a Sitout Facebuster. The ref counts… One…Two..Th…kickout by Hogan.) Kyleigh “Spark” - Veidt has controlled the majority of this match, but Hulk Hogan is staying in there with the younger Adrian Veidt. Barry Hanson - Not for long! Come on Adrian! (Veidt heads to the corner. He climbs to the second Turnbuckle. He sees Hulk getting to his feet. Veidt jumps off the turnbuckle as Hogan gets to a knee, and drives Hogan’s head into the mat with UTOPIA… Veidt hooks the legs…the ref counts… ONE…TWO…THREE!) Barry Hanson - Yes! Adrian Veidt did it!

Ring Announcer - Here is your winner… Adrian Veidt! Kyleigh “Spark” - An impressive victory for Adrian Veidt! Carl Rogers - And an unfortunate loss added to the column for Hulk Hogan!

:: Adrian Veidt continues to celebrate in the ring as we move to a commercial break. When we return, “I’m Shipping Up to Boston” plays over the P.A. System and the crowd is booing. ::

Ring Announcer - Introducing first… From Dublin, Ireland…MARRRRRCUSSSS O’ HAAAARRRRRAAAAA! Carl Rogers - This next match-up is a triple threat between Riddick Cage, Tommy Cruise, and this man, Marcus O’Hara. O’Hara is a skilled competitor, but has found himself in the middle of a slump. Kyleigh “Spark” – He will be looking to change course in this match. :: “Chop Suey” by System of a Down plays throughout the arena as Tommy Cruise walks onto the ramp. He makes his way to the ring. :: Ring Announcer - Making his way to the ring… From Peterborough, Ontario, Canada …. Accompanied by his manager…Amii Summers…..TOMMMMMMMYYYYYY CRUUUIIISSSSSSEEEEE! Kyleigh “Spark” – Tommy Cruise was scheduled to debut last week. Apparently The Masked Men had other plans. Carl Rogers – I think he might still be looking for them, Kyleigh. Barry Hanson - Smart guys like that... they find you.

:: “Walking Dead” by Cryptex hits over the P.A. System as Riddick Cage and Solara come out of the entry way and make their way to the ring. ::

Ring Announcer - The final competitor of this triple threat match… hailing from deep in the jungle of The Darien Gap…RIDDDDICCCCKKKKK CAAAAAGGGGEEEE! :: Riddick steps through the ropes, then walks to the corner and climbs to the top turnbuckle, turns, and stares at his opponents, waiting for the bell. :: Carl Rogers – Riddick Cage is a very dangerous competitor. Kyleigh “Spark” – I think he is part bird, the way he gracefully flies through the air. Barry Hanson – Or because they spliced his genes with that of an eagle. :: “WHAT DO WE WANT! WHAT DO WE NEED? HEAD! HEAD! HEAD!” followed by “Insane in the Membrane” by Cypress Hill blasts throughout the arena. The NLWTRON cuts to HEAD next to an Apple Pie with a hole in the center, and a smashed watermelon. :: HEAD (Morgan Freeman voice) – I think it is time to play a little game I like to call…Make Things Interesting… :: All of a sudden a whistle sound comes from nowhere. Men dressed in all black surround the ring, the camera’s are unable to see what they are doing until…. the ropes are set ablaze. :: HEAD (Morgan Freeman voice) - Cruise, Cage, O’Hara. Win by pin or set someone’s ass on FIRE! THE GIFT OF HEAD HAS BEEN GIVEN! :: There is a loud bang before the camera fades to black. Head has just flipped the script on this Triple Threat! :: Barry Hanson stands up and applauds. :: Barry Hanson - That man is a genius. Kyleigh “Spark” - That man-nequin you mean? :: The Bell Rings. :: (Riddick hopped off the top turnbuckle right before the ropes were set ablaze. All three competitors take a second to register the new situation in which they find themselves. O’Hara starts off the match by sneaking behind Cage, grabbing him, and immediately bringing him to the mat with a Side Russian Leg Sweep. As O’Hara gets to his feet, he is knocked down and out from a Superkick to the back of the head by Cruise. Cruise goes for the cover… the ref counts… One… the count is broken up with a boot to the head of Cruise by Cage.) Barry Hanson - Smart man. Trying to end this match before getting burnt. (Riddick grabs Cruise, and locks in a Rear Chokehold. Cruise manages to get to his feet, he throws a couple elbows into the side of Riddick, forcing Riddick to lose his grip, Cruise is about to bounce off the ropes, until he feels the heat of the flames. Instead, he whips Cage into the ropes, but Cage uses his awareness and athletic ability to dive over the flames and lands hard onto the outside.) Kyleigh “Spark” - Well, that is one way to avoid the flames. But I think he might have hurt himself more than the flames would have.

(Cruise is looking at the downed Cage, when O’Hara returns the favor with a Superkick to the back of Cruise’s head…he drops and hooks the legs…the ref counts….One…Tw…kickout by Cruise. Cage gets to feet on the outside as O’Hara drags Cruise to his feet. O’Hara hooks Cruise, and connects with a Front Suplex AND CRUISE LANDS ON THE BURNING ROPES, then topples forward and lands on his back before he was set ablaze. As O’Hara is about to go for the cover… Cage comes from out of nowhere and breaks up the count with a Leg Drop. Riddick runs towards the engulfed ropes without hesitation… SPRINGBOARDS OFF THE FLAME RIDDEN ROPES…and connects with a Springboard Moonsault onto Cruise and O’Hara. He spins Cruise over for the pin… the ref counts…One…Two…Th…kickout by Cruise.)

Carl Rogers - Riddick is really testing those flames! He’s been all around those ropes since we started this match!

(Riddick hurries to his feet, He walks over to O’Hara, O’Hara catches Riddick off guard with a Low Blow. O'Hara immediately drives Cage’s head into the mat with a DDT. As he is about to go for the pin, Cruise pulls O’Hara off of Cage. Cruise begins stomping on O'Hara then heads over and delivers a few stomps to the downed Cage. As he walks back over to O'Hara, O’Hara grabs his tights, and pulls him through the flaming ropes. O'Hara turns back over to Cage. O'Hara grabs Riddick’s head and brings him to his feet. O’Hara wraps his arms around Cage and delivers a Belly to Belly Suplex. He goes for the cover… the ref counts…One…Tw…Cruise is back in the ring and nails O’Hara with a Double Axe Handle to the back of O’Hara’s head to break up the count.) Carl Rogers - What an intense match-up so far! Kyleigh “Spark” - It’s getting really hot in here! This needs to end quickly or else I’m going to need a break to cool off!

Barry Hanson - You know…

Kyleigh “Spark” - Don’t even, Barry! (Cruise keeps his momentum going and runs into the corner. He quickly hops on the top turnbuckle, then leaps off, connecting with Cruise Press on Cage. He goes for the cover…the ref counts…One…Two…Kickout by Cage. O'Hara reaches over to grab Cruise, but Cruise connects with a few fists to the face. Cruise bounces off the ropes and takes O'Hara hard to the mat with a Clothesline. Cruise begins to stomp on the downed O'Hara before turning his attention to Cage. Cruise takes off towards the flames…he bounces on and off the fiery ropes, and connects with a Springboard Moonsault on Cage. Meanwhile, O'Hara slid under the burning ropes, and grabs a chair before sliding back in. Cruise goes for the pin but before the ref can count, O'Hara comes down hard on the back of Cruise with a chair shot. Then another as Cruise rolls off Cage. O’Hara turns the chair sideways and jams it into the right side of Cruise three times before turning to Cage. As O'Hara turns he is met by a Spinning Heel Kick by Cage and the chair drops to the canvas. Cage rushes to the corner. As quickly as he hops on the top turnbuckle, he sets up, jumps off and connects with a Crockscrew Shooting Star Press. He goes for the cover..the ref counts… One…Two…Thr….Cruise drills Cage in the head with the chair, breaking up the count. Cruise quickly lifts Cage and brings him down hard with a Package Piledriver…he goes for the cover… the ref counts… One…Two..Th…O’Hara connects with a chair shot of his own to the head of Cruise, breaking up the count.) Kyleigh “Spark” - This is absolutely BRUTAL! Barry Hanson - These three are giving it their all for some Head! (As Cruise is on one knee, O’Hara bounces off the flame filled ropes, jumps and brings Cruise’s head hard into the mat with a Curb Stomp…O'Hara hooks the legs… the ref counts… One...Two..th… broken up at the last moment by Riddick Cage! All three men lay on the mat for a second as the crowd begins to chant.)

Crowd - THIS IS AWESOME! THIS IS AWESOME!

(All three men slowly get to their feet and begin trading blows with each other. Cage hits Cruise. Cruise hits O’Hara. O’Hara hits Cage. O’Hara goes for a hard clothesline on Cage but Cage ducks. O’Hara turns around and is met by a vicious superkick that causes O’Hara to collapse near the burning ropes. Cage turns around and Tommy Cruise lifts Riddick Cage off of the ground and Cruise delivers My Calling on Cage! Cruise slowly rolls over and covers Cage! ONE! TWO!... The referee stops and calls for the bell. Marcus O’Hara is over by the ropes and his shirt is ablaze. O’Hara is flopping around and rolling around trying to extinguish the flames.)

:: “Walking Dead” begins playing. ::

Ring Announcer - Due to Marcus O’Hara being lit on fire, the winner of this match… Riiiiiiddick Caaaaaaage!

Carl Rogers - Good God! Thank God that one is over! Someone get some help for Marcus O’Hara!

:: The scene fades to a commercial. This particular commercial break includes a spot for the NLW Network and for NLW No Escape. It is an unusually long break, as the ring crew needs to prepare a new set of ropes due to the inferno match. When we return, we see the broadcast table. Kyleigh “Spark” is missing from the table. ::

Carl Rogers - We hope you had time to grab a snack and use the restroom during that long break. As you can see, Kyleigh wasn’t kidding, folks. Kyleigh “Spark” has left us for a moment. Things got a little too hot in here for her.

Barry Hanson - What a softie! If she can’t handle the heat, she should stay out of the kitchen… although…

Carl Rogers - Probably not a great idea, Barry!

:: “Celtic Invasion” begins playing over the loud-speakers. ::

Ring Announcer - The following mix-tag team contest is scheduled for one fall! Introducing first, from Dublin Ireland… she is the NLW Divas Champion… Becky Lyyyynch!

:: Becky Lynch comes out from the back and stands on the stage. She begins playing to the crowd as they cheer loudly for her. We see Kyleigh “Spark” in a different shirt from before hustling past Becky and back out to ringside. She sits back down and puts her headset back on. ::

Carl Rogers - Welcome back, Kyleigh. New shirt?

Kyleigh “Spark” - Uh yes. The other one was still way too hot!

Barry Hanson - Hey, softie!

Kyleigh “Spark” - What was that?

Barry Hanson - Oh, nothing.

:: “The Warrior’s Code” begins playing and Murphy MacManus joins Becky on the stage. ::

Ring Announcer - And her partner, also from Dublin, Ireland… Muuuurphy MacMaaaanus!

:: The two begin to walk to the ring. ::

Carl Rogers - These two have combined for a lot of success so far in the NLW!

Kyleigh “Spark” - It’s going to be very hard for someone to take Becky Lynch down!

Barry Hanson - Please. Monique Browning can and will do it… she just has some things to iron out. And training with “The Million Dollar Man” all week should help her.

:: Murphy and Becky step into the ring and pose for the crowd. They cheer loudly as the two hit a double high five and the music fades. ::

P.A. System - HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA!

:: “It’s All About the Money” begins playing and “The Million Dollar Man” Ted DiBiase comes out from the back in his three-piece tuxedo. The Million Dollar Championship is strapped to his waist. The crowd boos loudly. Monique Browning walks out next to him carrying “Lucy III” as you can see her determined eyes underneath her straw cowboy hat. ::

Kyleigh “Spark” - I will say, Monique Browning seems to be a different person tonight. She looks very very determined.

Barry Hanson - Why wouldn’t she have all of the confidence in the world? She’s got the Million Dollar Champion with her!

:: Monique sets her guitar next to the ring steps in their corner. The two climb into the ring as the crowd continues to boo. DiBiase takes off the Million Dollar Championship and lays it in their corner. He takes off his tuxedo and Monique removes her cowboy hat. The ring attendants take their clothing items and the bell rings. ::

Carl Rogers - Who will start us off here? Remember, folks, if MacManus is in the ring then DiBiase HAS to be in the ring. If MacManus tags Becky Lynch in, then Monique Browning automatically enters the match. Looks like the men are going to start this one off!

(DiBiase slowly cirlces the ring. MacManus just stands in the center as he continues to turn to keep his face towards DiBiase. As his back is turned towards Monique, she quickly slips into the ring and slaps MacManus in the back of the head. She retreats back onto the ring apron in her corner as she sees Becky Lynch coming into the ring. MacManus turns towards Monique and shouts something at her about tagging Becky in. The referee holds Becky back and has his back turned to the action. DiBiase hits MacManus in the back of the head and sends him into the corner. He and Monique begin nailing MacManus in the corner. Monique hits knees to the side from the apron as DiBiase hits knife-edge chops to MacManus’ chest.)

Carl Rogers - What a cheap way to begin this match! Get control, referee!

Barry Hanson - Brilliant!

(The referee finally gets Becky Lynch out of the ring and turns back towards the action. Monique puts her hands up as if she wasn’t doing anything. The crowd boos. DiBiase puts MacManus in a wrist lock and cinches down hard on it. MacManus drops to one knee as he holds his shoulder with the other hand. DiBiase drives an elbow down into the shoulder of MacManus. And again. MacManus gets back up to his feet and reverses the wristlock and comes behind DiBiase with a hammerlock. DiBiase grabs MacManus’s head and takes him down with a snapmare. MacManus pops up off of the ground and grabs both legs of DiBiase and performs a double-leg takedown. He hooks the legs under his arms and turns his back towards the turnbuckles. He drops backwards and slingshots Ted DiBiase into the ring post. DiBiase stumbles back into the ring and is met by a DDT, driving his head into the canvas. MacManus goes for the cover. One! Two! Broken up by Monique Browning. MacManus looks at Browning and says something about how badly she wants to be in the match. “Fine!” MacManus tags in Becky Lynch. Becky climbs into the ring and stares at Browning across the ring. Browning is backed into the corner and looks scared Becky looks at the crowd and pumps them up.)

Carl Rogers - This sold out crowd is getting behind Murphy MacManus and the NLW Divas Champion!

Kyleigh “Spark” - We are about to see it! Monique and Becky in the ring, one-on-one!

(As Becky approaches Monique, DiBiase is up to his feet and stands between the two. The crowd boos as DiBiase shields Becky from Monique. Becky yells something at DiBiase and MacManus begins walking towards the commotion. The referee goes to hold MacManus back and Monique slips out of the ring unseen because of DiBiase’s screen. She reaches under the bottom rope and pulls Becky down to the mat. She goes over to the ring post with Becky’s left leg and slams the back of her knee hard against the ring post. She does it a second time as MacManus is going ballistic across the ring. DiBiase has since moved over there and started taunting MacManus. Monique slips into the ring and grabs Becky’s left leg. She rolls her over and puts Becky in a single-leg crab. The referee gets MacManus out of the ring and does the same with DiBiase, although he goes easily and willingly knowing he did his job.)

Carl Rogers - These cheap tactics by Ted DiBiase seem to happen every single week!

Barry Hanson - You call it cheap, I call it smart! Tomato, tomato! :: Said like “Toe-may-toe, toe-mah-toe!” ::

(Monique sits back on Becky with the single-leg crab as Becky reaches out and manages to grab the bottom rope. Monique breaks the hold and she tags Ted DiBiase in.)

Carl Rogers - Well, that wasn’t the best idea on her part. Now the fresh Murphy MacManus is the legal competitor!

(Murphy steps through the ropes. Realizing what she’s done, Monique climbs out and tags herself BACK in on DiBiase’s shoulder, who had just stepped into the ring. DiBiase, a little confused by whatever Monique is trying to accomplish, steps back out of the ring. The referee tells MacManus to go back into their corner and he obliges. Monique goes to stomp on Becky’s back, but she has taken far too much time and Becky grabs Monique’s foot. Becky limps up onto her feet, still holding Monique’s foot. Monique swings her other leg for an enziguri but Becky ducks and Monique crashes to the mat. Becky never loses her grip on Monique’s leg and she puts Monique in the Four-Leg Clover!)

Kyleigh “Spark” - This could be it! Becky has Monique dead in the middle of the ring in the Four-Leg Clover! Monique is in pain!

(Monique is reaching out towards the ropes. She can’t reach them. DiBiase drops off of the ring apron and reaches underneath the bottom rope and grabs Monique’s hands. He pulls Monique and Becky from out of the middle of the ring and Monique is able to grab the ropes. The referee forces Becky to break the hold. MacManus is off of the ring apron and sprints around to the other side of the ring. DiBiase turns and is met by a spear! DiBiase hits the ring steps! He is down. The referee climbs to the outside of the ring to get Murphy back to his corner. In the ring, Becky Lynch picks Monique up off of the ground. Bexploder! She nails the Bexploder! She covers Monique.)

Crowd - ONE! TWO! THREE! FOUR! FIVE!

(The crowd continues to count as the referee is on the outside of the ring with Murphy. Murphy points into the ring and sprints back to his corner. Seeing the cover, the referee slides in and counts.)

Referee and Crowd - ONE! TWO! TH…

(Kickout by Monique Browning!)

Kyleigh “Spark” - That all just developed way too long! This match should be over.

Barry Hanson - That’s MacManus’ own fault!

(Becky sits there and looks at the referee in disbelief. She gets up to her feet. She pulls Monique off of the mat and Monique punches Becky in the stomach. Monique scoops Becky up and slams her on the mat. Monique turns to her corner for the tag, but DiBiase is still on the arena floor. Monique looks around and sees that he’s on the floor. Becky comes from behind Monique and rolls her up. One! Two! Thr… KICKOUT!)

Carl Rogers - That was so close! This one was almost over.

Barry Hanson - Come on Teddy! Get up!

(Becky and Monique are both back to their feet. Monique swings at Becky with a right slap, Becky ducks and shoves Monique into the ropes. Monique bounces off and is met by a textbook dropkick from Becky Lynch. Becky, knowing DiBiase is down, walks over to MacManus and tags him in. The referee begins a count on DiBiase. MacManus jumps off of the apron and walks over to DiBiase as he nears closer, DiBiase pops up off of the ground and grabs MacManus’ head and throws his head into the top step of the ring stairs. MacManus’ head bounces off and he stumbles over to the other side of the ring. DiBiase follows him. The referee is at six. DiBiase grabs MacManus and slides him into the ring and follows.)

Carl Rogers - What a match this is! This New Orleans crowd is getting their money’s worth!

Barry Hanson - Get him Teddy!

(DiBiase climbs to his feet and pulls MacManus off of the ground. He hits a knee in the face of MacManus. DiBiase sends MacManus towards the opposite ropes with an Irish whip but MacManus reverses it. DiBiase bounces off and whiffs with a clothesline as MacManus ducks under it. Monique smacks DiBiase on the shoulder as he bounces off. MacManus grabs DiBiase and tosses him over the top rope. MacManus runs off of the opposite ropes and then dives with a springboard cross-body on DiBiase! The two lay outside the ring.)

Carl Rogers - I’m not sure who else saw it, but Monique blind-tagged herself into the match! And here she comes!

(Monique slips into the ring and walks over to Becky. She pulls Becky over the top rope by her hair, slamming her to the mat. Monique picks Becky up off of the ground and sets her up and delivers Smashville! She picks Becky up off of the ground and locks in The Million Dollar Dream!)

Barry Hanson - Yes! The Million Dollar Student! She’s got The Million Dollar Dream locked in!

(Becky struggles, trying to free herself. Monique has it locked in tightly! Becky is still fighting it, but she can’t get out. Becky is so close to tapping! MacManus jumps back onto the ring apron and stretches his arm out far over the ropes. Becky reaches out towards him with the strength she has. There’s about one inch of space between the two of their hands. Becky begins to fade. The referee checks the arm. ONE! … TWO! … TH… Becky keeps it up! The crowd is behind her and she reaches as hard as possible and manages to slap MacManus’ hand. MacManus jumps into the ring and watches as Monique refuses to release the hold. DiBiase, who had just recovered from the cross-body, slides in from the outside. The referee is still warning Monique to break The Million Dollar Dream. MacManus walks over to Monique to urge her to break it. Monique shoves Becky into MacManus, causing the two of them to stumble towards the ropes. Becky falls through the top and middle rope, but she doesn’t hit the ground because MacManus catches her. MacManus looks at Becky and asks if she is okay. As Becky is quietly responding, DiBiase rolls up MacManus from behind and grabs the tights. ONE! TWO! THREE!)

:: The bell rings and “It’s All About the Money” begins playing. MacManus grabs his head in shock as he watches DiBiase’s and Monique’s arms being raised. He asks the referee how he didn’t see the tights being grabbed. DiBiase is handed his title and raises the Million Dollar Championship in the air laughing. MacManus stands up to talk more with the referee. DiBiase spins MacManus around and MacManus is nailed with the belt. He falls and rolls to the outside of the ring. The music fades and the crowd is booing loudly. Monique reaches outside of the ring and grabs “Lucy III.” ::

Carl Rogers - Come on, damnit! Not again!

Barry Hanson - Yes! Get her Monique!

:: Suddenly “Time to Rock and Roll” hits over the P.A. System and the crowd cheers. Lita and Trish Stratus come out from the back with microphones in their hands. The music fades. ::

Trish Stratus - Alright. Enough is enough, Monique. We know what you want. And quite frankly, the entire NLW Universe wants to see it, too!

Lita - So on September 1st at NLW No Escape we are going to have a match for the NLW Divas Championship.

Trish Stratus - Becky Lynch will defend her title... against Monique Browning.

Lita - But there will be some stipulations. We will announce the stipulations next week on Pandemonium.

:: The crowd sighs and boos a little because they want to know. ::

Trish Stratus - Okay, okay. How about we give you ONE now?

:: The crowd cheers. ::

Lita - Monique Browning… any and all guitars will be BANNED from The Staples Center!

:: The crowd cheers as Monique throws a little bit of a fit. ::

Trish Stratus - Monique… any use of a guitar will result in a disqualification AND you will not be allowed to compete for the NLW Divas Championship for a very long time!

:: The crowd cheers again as Monique stands there angrily. “Time to Rock and Roll” hits again as Lita and Trish move back to the locker room area. ::

Carl Rogers - That will be a great match!

Kyleigh “Spark” - I’m so excited. I cannot wait!

:: The music continues to play and we fade to a commercial. As we return back we see the ring announcer in the ring. ::

Carl Rogers - Welcome back to Pandemonium. What a night we have had! We’ve had some great debuts by Erik Black and Chris Moxley. We have seen an INSANE triple threat match inside of a fiery ring.

Kyleigh “Spark” - And we just witnessed a great mixed tag team match culminating in the announcement that Becky Lynch will defend her Divas Championship at No Escape against Monique Browning!

:: "Pia's Theme" by Christopher Melotti begins to echo drearily throughout the arena. Smoke begins to pour out onto the stage. Jagen Hagar, in a dirty white robe, and A Girl in a black robe slowly make their way to the ring. Hagar slowly enters the ring, ignoring all the heckles, boos, and jeers. A girl walks over by the ring announcer and remains motionless the entire match ::

Ring Announcer - The following contest is scheduled for one fall. Already in the ring, accompanied by A Girl. JAGEEEEEN HAGAAAAR! Carl Rogers - Jagen Hagar seems to be key player in the Hardcore Division. Kyleigh “Spark” – Key Head lackey you mean. Barry Hanson – No One disrespects A Man like that. I am going to tell A Girl and she will whoop both your asses. :: “Fatal” by Critical Mass hits as a red cloud of smoke comes out from the entrance. Tazai Mitsubishi emerges from the smoke and runs to the ring. He slides under the bottom rope and pops to his feet. He gains a mixed reaction from the crowd. :: Ring Announcer - MAKING HIS WAY TO THE RING….. From Yokohama, Japan……TAZAIIII MITSUUUUBISSSSHHHHIIIIII! Kyleigh “Spark” – Here comes The Psycho Tiger. Carl Rogers - Tazai is a major threat to everyone on this roster. With hardcore being his specialty.

:: Tazai walks around the ring as his music fades and the bell rings. :: (Jagen Hagar and Tazai Mitsubishi circle one another for bit before locking up. Tazai slides behind Hagar, he goes for a Bulldog, but Hagar escapes his grasp and Tazai goes flying across the ring. Hagar charges, leaps, attempting an Elbow Drop, but Tazai rolls out of the ring.) Kyleigh “Spark” - Here we go again. Barry Hanson - A Man does what he damn well pleases, woman. Carl Rogers - Tazai is as hardcore as they come, Kyleigh. (Hagar slides out of the ring to an onslaught of backhand chops, forcing Hagar against the apron. Tazai grabs Hagar by the arm, and whips Hagar into the barricade. Tazai charges to drive his knee into the head of Hagar but Hagar rolls out of the way and Tazai crashes into the barricade. Hagar pushes Tazai over the barricade into the crowd. Hagar stands on the barricade, then jumps off connecting with a Moonsault. Hagar gets up, pushes a fan away from a chair, closes the chair, and drives it into the side of Tazai before placing it across his face. Hagar grabs another chair, he cocks back, before he can swing, Tazai jumps up and drops Hagar with a Legsweep. He grabs the chair, and drives it into the side of Hagar. Then again. The Psycho Tiger cocks back and smashes Hagar in the head with the chair, busting “Jagen Hagar” wide open. Tazai grabs the bleeding Hagar and pushes him over the apron. This time Tazai stands on the apron and jumps, connecting with a Frog Splash. Tazai takes a few seconds to get up, he grabs Hagar and slides him into the ring. Tazai slides in and goes for the cover…the ref counts…. One…Two…kickout by Hagar.) Barry Hanson - A Man will not go down that easily. Kyleigh “Spark” - A Man must be having a hard time seeing Psycho Tiger with that blood spilling down his face. (Tazai gets ups and stomps on the downed Hagar. Tazai slides out of the ring, he reaches under the ring and grabs a Kendo Stick, then slides back into the ring. As he does, he is met with a Spinning Heel Kick, knocked to the mat, dropping the Kendo Stick. Hagar grabs the Kendo stick and begins striking Tazai in the back four or fives. Hagar runs to the corner and hops onto the top turnbuckle. He leaps, and connects with a Corkscrew Swanton. He hooks the legs….the ref counts… One…Two…Th….kickout by Tazai. Not satisfied, Hagar goes for the cover again.. the ref counts… One…Two... Tazai kicksout again. Hagar grabs the kendo stick and rips into Tazai’s back a few more times before dropping it. Hagar grabs Tazai by the head, picks him, right into position for The Gift… He lifts, but Tazai manages to flip out of the move, and transition into a Neckbreaker. Tazia flips hagar on his stomach, then tries to lock in the Camel Clutch, but hagar somehow manges to transition into an modified Hip Toss. Hagar goes for a Standing Moonsault, but Tazai manages to slide out of the ring. Tazai slides right back into the ring, grabs hagar, gets him to his feet, and whips Hagar into the corner. Tazai connects with a few backhand chops. Tazai spins Hagar around, locks his arms, then connects with a Tiger Suplex…he goes for the cover… the ref counts…. One…Two…Th…kickout by Jagen Hagar. Tazai backs into the corner…waiting for the right moment. Hagar is using the ropes to pull himself to his feet. Before he can, The Psycho Tiger charges and connects with 12 O’Clock! He hooks the legs… the ref counts…One…Two…THREE!!!!) Ring Announcer - HERE IS YOUR WINNER… THE PSYCHO TIGER… TAZAIIII MITSUUUUUBIIIISSSHIIIIII! Kyleigh “Spark” - The Psycho Tiger lands a spot in the Hardcore Fatal Fourway Iron Man Match at No Escape! Carl Rogers - Look out Hardcore Division, The Psycho Tiger is looking to mark his territory.

Kyleigh “Spark” - When we come back from the commercial break we will have our main event!

Carl Rogers - That’s right! Alexander “King” Midas puts his NLW Pure Championship on the line, this time against Carlos Ruiz!

:: Fade to commercial break. When we return, “Nihilist,” by Ace Waters is playing over the PA system as Keith Anderson makes his way down the ramp and to the commentator’s table. He sits beside Kyleigh and sets up some headgear for himself.] Kyleigh “Spark” - It would seem that Pure Division Commissioner Keith Anderson is joining us here tonight. Keith Anderson - Indeed, Ms. Spark! Normally I’d watch from the back, but these two men have shown too much promise for me to pass on the opportunity on getting a closer look, especially while in my home town. It’s a once in a lifetime experience. Carl Rogers - Once in a lifetime, Mr. Anderson. After all, both men are undefeated in an NLW ring… but that has to come to an end tonight. Kyleigh “Spark” - Indeed. Not only the gold is on the line, but also a heightened sense of pride. These two men will never have the same kind of unique stake in a match against each other ever again. Barry Hanson - I hope that Ruiz is ready to cross the border with his tail between his legs when his hometown learns that their hero is nothing but a sham! Carl Rogers - Ruiz is from Spain, actually.

Ring Announcer - The following contest is for the NLW Pure Championship!

:: “Mazz Cumbias” begins playing and Carlos Ruiz steps out from the back to a chorus of cheers. He is wearing yellow tights today with his black leather jacket and Maui Jim sunglasses on the way to the ring. ::

Ring Announcer - Introducing first, the challenger. From Madrid, Spain… weighing in at 205 pounds… Caaaarloooos Ruuuuiiiiiz!

:: Carlos gets into the ring and poses for the cheering crowd. He takes his sunglasses and jacket off and hands them to the ringside attendant. He blows some kisses into the crowd as the music fades. “Gold” by Sir Sly begins to play and the crowd turns their booing attention to the stage. Alexander “King” Midas comes out and holds his NLW Pure Championship up high. ::

Ring Announcer - And his opponent… from Cape Town, South Africa… weighing in at 240 pounds… he is the Next Level Wrestling Pure Champion… Alexandeeeeer “Kiiiiing” Miiiiiidaaaas!

:: Alexander Midas gets into the ring. He holds the title up high again, with the fans booing him again. He hands the title to the referee, who shows it to Carlos. Carlos looks at it and smiles. He kisses the belt, which Midas does not appear to appreciate. The referee holds the title up high and then hands it to the ringside attendant. The bell rings. :: (The two men face off. Midas and Carlos come face-to-face as each men know that one of them is walking out of there with gold and honor. Midas spits in Ruiz’s face, to which the Spaniard pulls back and wipes the saliva off, then responds by delivering a cheap shot to Midas. The ref chastises Ruiz, but leaves it at a verbal warning. Midas responds with a blow of his own, and before long the two are trading overhand shots from Midas for uppercuts from Ruiz. Neither man seems to be getting the upper hand, but Ruiz ducks one of Midas’s punches and moves to behind where he puts him in a behind the back wristlock. From here, Ruiz performs a takedown and transitions to a front headlock. The two men make it back to their feet with Midas still in Ruiz’s grasp. To get out, Midas charges towards the turnbuckles, in an attempt to drive his weight into Ruiz’s abdomen. However, Ruiz leaps at the last moment and uses the momentum to springboard off of the second rope into a tornado DDT attempt! But Midas pushes him off before it connects. Ruiz lands on his back, but rolls through and stares at Midas from across the ring. Midas chuckles and patronizingly taunts him. Ruiz runs forward , but Midas dodges the kick. Carlos, ever the athlete, still uses this momentum wisely and runs up the turnbuckle into a backflip, landing on his feet. This moment of suspended animation is abruptly ended by a big boot from Alexander Midas, which grounds Ruiz. Midas leans on the ropes and smiles menacingly at the camera before turning back to Ruiz) Kyleigh “Spark” - What started as a solid stalemate has taken a turn for the worst for Carlos Ruiz. Carl Rogers - Indeed, but both athletes are pulling out all the stops here: Carlos is using a new and unique technical style with his typical high-flying repertoire. That could come into play later on. Barry Hanson - And don’t you idiots forget about the beautiful mind games played by Midas. He’s cranking it up to twelve tonight just to truly bring it to that European cretin. (Midas hooks the arms of Ruiz and begins to deliver trapping headbutts to the back of Ruiz’s head. Carlos winces in pain and cries out. Midas take a reprieve before yelling in Ruiz’s ear, commanding that he quit. As the headbutts begin again, Ruiz seems to truly consider quitting before Alex ends the tirade due to his own fatigue. Midas isn’t totally finished though, and he turns to the right leg of Ruiz. Midas lifts the leg up and slams it to the mat knee-first. Midas then begins to apply a kneebar to add more pressure to the same leg. Ruiz begins to crawl towards the ropes slowly as Midas uses his legs to both crank his right leg and deliver kicks to the back of Ruiz’s head. Carlos makes it to the ropes and the hold is broken. Midas breaks the hold and smiles again, knowing that he just forced Ruiz to waste a precious rope break very early on in the match. Midas turns back to Ruiz, who is propping himself up on the middle rope. Midas runs toward him and delivers a big boot right through Ruiz’s head. Midas lays on the ropes with his leg hanging out over the apron as Carlos lies dazed on the ropes. Midas returns to the ring and lifts up Ruiz’s legs, making him more horizontal and delivers a kick to the midsection of Carlos. Midas then pulls Ruiz back into the ring and takes stance at the turnbuckle. He begins to size up Ruiz and imitate the Spaniards’ typical actions when calling for a Spanish Eyes… Ruiz gets to his feet, still dazed and Midas goes for it! Spanish Eyes! But Ruiz ducks under and delivers an Enziguri out of sheer reflexes. Both men crash to the mat and lay resting.) Carl Rogers - That could’ve been it! Midas was going to try and close this match with Ruiz’s own finishing maneuver! Kyleigh “Spark” - I guess when you have all the restrictions of a Pure Title match, you learn to fight dirty in other ways. Barry Hanson - Oh! Come off it! You buffons. Midas is playing his opponent like a damn fiddle! Carl Rogers - Well it would seem that he needs to rosin up his bow again, though I have to wonder if Ruiz is all there himself. Keith Anderson - Indeed, it would seem that our medical examiners will need to take a look at these two by the time this match is over. (Ruiz stirs first, and is able to make it to his feet, though he’s clearly favoring his left leg at this point. Ruiz rests in a corner as Midas gets up, and the two men are staring at each other in close proximity again. Midas shouts obscenities at Ruiz before slapping him. The fatigued Ruiz doesn’t immediately respond, but ducks a second slap from Midas and hits a kick to the gut of Midas. Ruiz then hooks the arms of Midas and lifts him up for a Tiger Bomb! Ruiz is now on the attack and quickly kips up. He continues by springboarding off of the ropes for a Lionsault that knocks the wind out of the Pure Champion. Carlos begins to get fired up and starts drawing upon the energy of an enthusiastic crowd. Carlos grabs Midas by the legs and stomps on his abdomen. Carlos maintains control of the legs and begins to twist the champion over… and it’s locked in! Cangrejo Espanol! Midas is in pain and is close to the center of the ring. Midas begins to claw and crawl to the ropes, but Ruiz begins to put more pressure on the champion! Nevertheless, Midas forces Ruiz to adjust so the hold can stay cinched in. This leads to a rope break by Midas! Ruiz breaks the hold and puts distance between the two. He showboats to the crowd with a very positive response! Ruiz turns back to Midas, who is halfway to his feet. Ruiz hits the man with a few kicks and puts him back into a front headlock. Midas resists, but ultimately can’t get out and is dragged by Ruiz to the turnbuckle, Carlos bounces off the second rope and lands a tornado DDT! Midas rolls face up on the mat and Ruiz goes for the pin! 1! 2! KICKOUT by Midas. Ruiz gets up and knows what has to happen to put this match away. Carlos takes position in the corner and begins calling for the Spanish Eyes! Midas slowly makes it up to his feet and turns to Ruiz, who goes for the kick! But Midas catches it and pushes Ruiz back, stretching out the already bad leg of Ruiz. Carlos rolls through, however, and takes refuge in a corner. Midas seems to have merely acted on instinct, though and is taking a rest of his own near ropes across the ring. Ruiz charges at him with intent of a shoulder tackle, but Midas catches him with the Midas Touch! Ruiz falls dead in his tracks near Midas’s resting position and Midas follows, hooking the inner leg of Ruiz. 1! 2! ROPE BREAK by Carlos Ruiz! Midas brings his hands to his head as the ref explains to him that Ruiz’s leg is under the rope.) Barry Hanson - I can’t believe it! The luck of the draw saw that dirty Spaniard’s siesta fall under the ropes! This can’t be condoned under Pure Title rules! Carl Rogers - Actually, Hanson, it would seem that our rules definitely allow for it, especially considering that Ruiz still has another rope break to use. Kyleigh “Spark” - You know, Hanson, if this is too much to bear I’m sure that Ruiz’s after party will have Spanish wine. It may help assuage your sorrows. (Midas begins to beat the mat and yell angrily at the ref. He pushes the official and grabs his collar, barking in his face all the while. The ref begins to threaten disqualifying the champ before Midas calms down and turns back to Ruiz. Midas walks right into a hurricanrana pin combo by Carlos! 1! 2! KICKOUT by the champ. The two men quickly pop back up to their feet and are about to go to blows before Carlos calls for a stop. The two men stare each other down again, much tenser this time. Midas sneers at Ruiz and tells him to give up. Ruiz continues to stare at him before grabbing Midas’ face and kissing him on both cheeks! The champion pulls away in disgust and in anger is about to deliver a clothesline to Ruiz, but the Spaniard ducks under and hits the Spanish Eyes! Midas falls and Ruiz falls on top of him and hooks both legs! 1! 2! 3!) Ring Announcer - Here is your winner, and the NEEEEEEEEEW NLW PURE CHAMPION… CARLOOOOOOOS RUUUUUUUUIZ! Carl Rogers - Ruiz has done it! For the first time ever in NLW history, a title has changed hands! Ruiz is walking out of here tonight as the champion! Kyleigh “Spark” - Viva la Lucha! Tonight's a night for firsts it seems: Carlos Ruiz delivers, essentially, the kiss of death AND Barry can’t bring himself to speak! :: Hanson is shown with his mouth agape as Anderson enters the ring and hands the NLW Pure Championship to Carlos Ruiz. The Spaniard celebrates and quickly joins the masses of fans who celebrate and pat the competitor on the back as he hoists the Pure Title high. This imagery plays as the copyright information flashes on screen and the show goes off air. ::
