Thursday Night Pandemonium - August 24, 2017

Thursday Night Pandemonium

August 24, 2017

Live from the Talking Stick Resort Arena in Phoenix, Arizona

:: The show intro finishes playing and fireworks go off in the Talking Stick Resort Arena in Phoenix, Arizona. The crowd is electric and chanting “NLW” as the camera pans around the arena seeing various signs for the superstars of the NLW. The camera then focuses in on the broadcast table. ::

Carl Rogers - Hello everyone! Welcome to Next Level Wrestling’s Thursday Night Pandemonium! I’m Carl Rogers and I am being joined, as usual, by Barry Hanson and Kyleigh “Spark.” We do have a great show for you this evening, but first I need to report on something that the NLW Commissioner, Shawn Michaels, has asked me to share. Some tragic news, of course, as you might have seen on social media over the course of the last few days. Since his loss to Carlos Ruiz in New Orleans, Alexander “King” Midas has gone missing. We do not know his whereabouts. We do not know if he is here tonight. We do not know if he is okay. We sure hope he is. One thing that we DO know is that no one has seen him since moments after we went off of the air last week. We are about to show you all some exclusive, never-been-seen-before footage that happened in the back after we went off of the air last week.

:: We cut away to footage of the back locker room area of the Smoothie King Center in New Orleans. A graphic says “Last Thursday” on the screen. We see various NLW superstars dressed up and getting ready to leave the arena. Alexander “King” Midas, still in his wrestling attire, is sitting on a chair off to the side with his entourage Donnie and Reggie. The two men are talking to Midas something about “Don’t do this!” and “Snap out of it mate!” Midas stands up out of the chair and starts to walk towards the exit. Donnie and Reggie try to stop him, but he gets physical and brushes them off of him with force. He sprints to the door and shoves it open and the camera follows. He smashes the window of a nearby car, setting the alarm off. He opens the car door from the outside and then sits in the driver’s seat. We see him reach down below the steering wheel as he hotwires the ignition. He throws the car in drive as he peels out and speeds off into the distance. The camera pans over to see Donnie and Reggie, who have looks of horror and disbelief on their faces. The scene cuts back to the broadcast table inside the Talking Stick Resort Arena in Phoenix. ::

Carl Rogers - And since then, no one has seen him. Not even Midas’ friends Donnie or Reggie. If we get updates, we promise to keep you all in the loop. Again, we just hope that he is okay. As for tonight…

Kyleigh “Spark” - Tonight in the Divas Division we have both women who will face off at No Escape, Becky Lynch and Monique Browning, in action. We will also see the debut match of Jagen Hagar’s manager, A Girl!

Carl Rogers - Carlos Ruiz defends his newly-won Pure Championship against newcome Chris Moxley. Moxley was very impressive last week. Impressive enough that he was granted this match for NLW gold.

Kyleigh “Spark” - Tommy Cruise, Brayden Wolfe, Tazai Mitsubishi, and Erik Black are all in action!

Carl Rogers - And we will finish the evening with Adrian Veidt and Bryan Danielson competing for the number one contendership to “The Million Dollar Man” Ted DiBiase’s Million Dollar Championship!

Barry Hanson - There’s no way that Adrian Veidt doesn’t head into No Escape as the number one contender!

Kyleigh “Spark” - Barba Rabra is in the ring and ready to face off against Monique Browning!

Ring Announcer - The following contest is scheduled for one fall! Already in the ring, from Malibu, California… Barba Rabra!

:: “Freeway Bound” begins playing and Monique Browning steps out from the back. She has her game face on to go along with Lucy III strapped to her back. ::

Ring Announcer - And her opponent, from Nashville, Tennessee… Monique Browning!

Carl Rogers - Monique picked up an important win last week, her first in the NLW. She and “The Million Dollar Man” Ted DiBiase took the win against Murphy MacManus and Becky Lynch!

Kyleigh “Spark” - Let’s look back at what happened last week.

:: The video cuts to highlights of the mixed tag team match from last week and then we cut to the end of the match. We see Monique with Lynch in the Million Dollar Dream and then Monique shoving Lynch into MacManus. Then we see DiBiase roll MacManus up for the win. We cut back to live action and Monique is in the ring taunting the booing crowd. ::

Carl Rogers - DiBiase grabbed the tights and got the win, but a win is a win.

Kyleigh “Spark” - And you know Becky Lynch isn’t happy about the situation. These two ladies cannot wait to get their hands on each other next week at No Escape.

:: The bell rings. ::

(Monique takes a run at Barba who ducks a Monique clothesline attempt. As Barba runs around, she is met by a hard right slap by Monique. Barba stumbles backwards. Monique runs at Barba and this time connects with the clothesline. She picks Barba up off of the mat and delivers a snap suplex to Barba. Barba lays in the middle of the ring and Monique runs over to the turnbuckle and sits on the top turnbuckle. She leaps off of the middle rope and delivers a hard right elbow in the sternum of Barba Rabra. She goes for the cover. One. Two. Kickout by Barba. Monique chastises the referee for a second and then goes back on the offensive. She picks Barba up by her hair while being warned by the referee. She tosses Barba across the ring and Barba falls out of the ring under the bottom rope.)

Carl Rogers - Monique is letting out some frustration right now.

Kyleigh “Spark” - She certainly is. But I will say that she looks much more polished than she did a month ago.

Barry Hanson - What did you expect? She’s being trained by the best!

(Monique runs and bounces off of the ropes and then leaps with a suicide dive on Barba Rabra. They both fall to the floor. Monique is quick to her feet as the referee’s count is at four. Monique picks Barba up by her hair again and rolls Barba into the ring. She slides in after and gets to her feet. She picks Barba up off of the ground and sets her up for Smashville. Monique looks at the crowd. This takes too long and Barba back-bodydrops Monique. Monique, however, lands on her feet. Monique turns around as Barba stands up. Monique puts Barba Rabra in the Million Dollar Dream!)

Carl Rogers - There it is again! The Million Dollar Dream!

(Barba reaches for the ropes, but she is too far. Barba quickly taps out and the bell rings.)

:: “Freeway Bound” plays and Monique releases the hold. ::

Ring Announcer - Here is your winner… Monique Browning!

Kyleigh “Spark” - And for the first time in her career, Monique Browning picks up a singles win!

Barry Hanson - And next week she will be the new NLW Divas Champion! I can feel it!

Carl Rogers - You may be right, Barry. We will see how Becky Lynch performs later tonight when she faces off with A Girl! After the commercial break, we have Mhy-Col Coal facing off against Tommy Cruise. We will be right back.

:: Monique continues to celebrate in the ring as we go to commercial. When we come back, Mhy-Col Coal is already in the ring taunting the fans. ::

Ring Announcer - Already in the Ring… Mhy-Col Coal!

Carl Rogers - Welcome back, folks. Mhy-Col Coal is in the ring and, quite frankly, I don’t like his chances against Tommy Cruise.

Barry Hanson - Cruise is a dangerous wrestler, Carl. He’s going to pummel Mhy-Col Coal because, well… it’s Mhy-Col Coal!

:: “Chop Suey” by System of a Down plays throughout the arena as Tommy Cruise walks onto the ramp. He makes his way toward the ring. :: Ring Announcer - Making his way to the ring… From Peterborough, Ontario, Canada… Accompanied by his manager Amii Summers… TOMMMMMMMYYYYYY CRUUUIIISSSSSSEEEEE! Kyleigh “Spark” - Cruise is looking to right the ship after a tough loss last week. Carl Rogers – Cruise has all the talent to make a push for an NLW Championship belt. :: The Bell Rings. :: (Cruise and Coal circle each other before they lock up. Cruise uses his strength advantage to push Coal to the corner. Cruise drives a knee into the gut of Coal. He grabs the head of Coal, sets him up, and brings him hard to the mat with a Package Piledriver. Cruise stomps on the downed Coal a few times before he goes for all an out sprint towards the ropes, Cruise hops on then off the ropes, he goes for a Springboard Moonsault, but Coal moves at the last second. Coal goes for the cover… but Cruise pushes him off before the ref can even start to count. Both men get to their feet, they go to lock up again, but Cruise drives a knee into the gut of Coal. He grabs Coal, sets him up, and drives him hard into the mat with Take The Cruise. He goes for the cover… the ref counts… One…Two…Thre…kickout by Coal.)

Carl Rogers - I’m not sure I have ever seen Mhy-Col Coal kick out of anything! I’m actually impressed! (Cruise gets up angrily and stomps on the head of the downed Coal. He grabs the head of Coal and drags him to his knees. Cruise sets him up, and uses his strength to connect with You’re Finished. Cruise hooks the legs… the ref counts… ONE…TWO…THREE!) Ring Announcer - Here is your winner… TOOOMMMYYYY CRRRUUUIISSSSSEEE! Kyleigh “Spark” - Cruise made Mhy-Col Coal look foolish out there. This wasn’t even close. Carl Rogers – An impressive, quick victory for Cruise.

:: We cut to a promo for NLW No Escape, airing live on Pay Per View next Friday night from the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California. When we return from commercial, A Girl is in the ring. “Celtic Invasion” hits the PA system and out walks the NLW Divas champion, Becky Lynch wearing her goggles and coat. The fans begin to scream as Becky does her thing at the top of the stage and puts her goggles on top of her head. ::

Ring Announcer - And her opponent, from Dublin, Ireland… she is the NLW Divas Champion… Becky Lynch!

Kyleigh “Spark” - Here comes our NLW Divas Champion, Becky Lynch!

Carl Rogers - And she looks ready for action, folks. The question is: will she be ready for Monique Browning next week?

Barry Hanson - No.

Kyleigh “Spark” - And?

Barry Hanson - What do you mean “and?” Just simply “no.” Not every time I speak has to come with a witty comment!

Carl Rogers - It’s just that we expect it from you, Barry.

:: She makes her way down the ramp slapping hands with fans and finds a little girl who is wearing a Becky Lynch t-shirt and she puts her goggles on her head and she continues down and slides into the ring. Becky spins around, walks over to the ropes, puts on the bottom and leans in between them with her hands out and the fans continue to cheer louder. She gets in the ring, takes off her coat and then her belt. She holds her belt in the air before handing it over to the ref. She then walks over to her corner and jumps back and forth waiting for the bell to sound. The music fades and the bell rings. :: (The two circle around inching closer and closer. Becky Lynch throws a punch but A Girl ducks and throws a kick into Becky’s back, Becky stumbles forward bouncing off of the ropes and on the return, throws a hard clothesline that is again ducked by A Girl. Becky, with a smirk on her face circles the ring again. When close enough, A Girl throws a quick kick to Becky’s gut, and then a punch to Becky’s face. A Girl then grabs Becky by the hair dragging her to the corner of the ring and tries to toss her into the turnbuckle, Becky Lynch is able to stop by throwing an elbow to the gut of A Girl and then circling to her back trying to push A Girl into the turnbuckle, but A Girl puts her feet onto the ropes and pushes herself back, turns and hits Becky with another kick to the gut. A Girl then grabs Becky’s head with two hands and smashes her head first into the turnbuckle.)

Kyleigh “Spark” - An impressive debut, so far, by A Girl. She’s really taking it to the Divas Champion!

(With Becky against the corner of the ring, A Girl pushes Becky back by the throat and then a knee to the inside thigh of Becky, Becky reaches down to her leg, but a girl pushes her back up and throws a hard-backhand to the chest of Becky Lynch. Becky Lynch stumbles forward, A Girl meets her and grabs her arm, A Girl then whips Becky into the ropes and bends down, but on the return Becky throws a kick to the face of A Girl causing her to come up grabbing her mouth and stumbling back. Becky then sprints forward trying to hit a clothesline but A Girl bends completely over placing two hands onto the mat almost like a bridge, but Becky kicks out A Girl’s legs causing her to fall to the mat and immediately Becky goes for a pin. ONE…TW.. A Girl kicks out. Both quickly to their feet and Becky grabs A Girl’s arm, twists around it, grabs A Girl behind the back and wraps her right leg around A Girl’s left tossing her body back causing a Girl to smash into the mat. Becky spins around the body of A Girl and then grabs her by the head picking her up to her feet. On the way up A Girl grabs Becky’s head with two hands, jumps up and lands on her knees while pulling Becky’s chin into the top of her head. Becky stumbles back grabbing her mouth and then a girl throws a hard-right hand to the face of Becky causing Becky to fall back into the ropes.)

Carl Rogers - A Girl is really looking to shock the Divas Champion tonight!

Barry Hanson - Well, if she is anything like A Man then she doesn’t lose!

(A Girl then sprints at Becky trying to knock her out of the ring, but Becky ducks and A Girl runs into her and Becky lifts her up tossing her outside of the ring and A Girl goes smashing down to the ground. Becky backs up to the other side of the ring, points at A Girl and then sprints towards her, dives through the middle of the ropes driving her shoulder right into the face of A Girl. Both women now on the ground. Becky grabs at her face checking for blood, she sees she is good and gets back up, she picks up A Girl and throws her back into the ring. Becky Lynch slides back into the ring herself but by this time A Girl is already standing, she grabs Becky by the hair swings her around and lets go so she falls into the mats. A Girl then sprints over and gets onto her knees as she begins throwing punches to the face of Becky. A Girl then stands up and throws a stomp into the body of Becky, Becky jumps up to her knees in pain, A Girl grabs her by the head and lifts her to her feet and tosses Becky hard into the turnbuckle and Becky bounces off, A Girl swings around her, wraps her arms around Becky’s neck like a sleeper hold, A Girl then climbs up to the turnbuckle and sits up top while squeezing the neck of Becky and with the leverage it lifts Becky off the ground. Since it’s against the ropes the ref tells A Girl to let go and begins to count. ONE, TWO, THREE, FOUR…)

Carl Rogers - A Girl is risking disqualification here! She better release or the referee will call for the bell!

(A Girl drops Becky to the ground, she reaches down and grabs Becky by the hair, pulls her back to her feet and wraps her arms around her neck again doing the same, lifting Becky in the air by choking her. The ref counts. ONE, TWO, THREE, FOUR… A Girl let’s go again, but goes to do the same thing, this time Becky reaches up, grabs A Girl by the back of the head and pulls her off of the turnbuckle, throwing her off the top turnbuckle with a hard snapmare. A Girl sits up grabbing her back, Becky picks her up and begins to put A Girl into a sleeper hold. Becky begins to shake wildly as she chokes A Girl, A Girl keeps stepping backwards and then jumps hard causing Becky to crash into the turnbuckle. Becky lets go, A Girl quickly jumps up putting her feet on the middle ropes and then begins punching Becky with hard rights to the face. Becky is able to reach her arms under the legs of A Girl, she lifts her up placing A Girl onto her shoulders and then falls forward slamming A Girl to the ground with a hard powerbomb. Becky then climbs the turnbuckle and jumps off connecting with a splash onto A Grirl. She then rolls A Girl onto her belly and puts on the Dis-Arm-Her. Becky begins yanking hard on the arm of A Girl. A Girl is noticeably in pain and the ref gets down low, continually asks if A Girl is ok. A Girl slowly inches her way to the side of the ring and grabs ahold of the ropes which the ref tells Becky to let go and she does. Becky stands up and picks a girl up to her feet, she grabs A Girls arm and throws her into the ropes, on the return Becky connects with a clothesline, A Girl quickly gets back up and is met with another quick clothesline from Becky, A Girl quick to her feet again and is met with a dropkick from Becky which causes A Girl to fall back next to the corner. Becky kicks herself up back to her feet, puts her arms out and circles around by this time A Girl pulled herself up to her feet resting up against the corner, Becky makes an arrow with her arms and begins yelling “STRAIGHT FIRE!” Becky then sprints at A Girl, leaps up smashing A Girl in the face with a punch. A Girl stumbles forward and Becky Lynch grabs ahold of her and connects with a Bexploder and immediately goes for the cover. ONE… TWO…. THREE!) :: The bell rings and “Celtic Invasion begins playing. ::

Ring Announcer - Here is your winner: Becky Lynch!

Carl Rogers - Boy that was a hard-fought win for Becky Lynch!

Kyleigh “Spark” - A Girl gave her everything she wanted in that match. She may be a future star here in the NLW!

:: “Freeway Bound” begins to play and Monique Browning comes out onto the ramp with Lucy III. She begins walking towards the ring ::

Carl Rogers - Things are heating up!

:: Suddenly the music is interrupted by Trish Stratus and Lita on the NLWtron. ::

Trish Stratus - You stop right there, Monique!

Lita - If you want your title shot next week, you’ll listen to us.

:: Monique stops and looks up at the screen. ::

Lita - Now, we told you all last week that we had another stipulation to announce. Tell them, Trish!

Trish Stratus - See, the men already have their Iron Man match set for next week. So, not to be outdone by the men around here, we have decided that next week… at No Escape… you two ladies will face off in the first ever sixty minute Iron WOMAN match!

:: The crowd cheers as Monique and Becky look at each other. ::

Carl Rogers - How about that?! An Iron WOMAN match!

Kyleigh “Spark” - I am so excited that I can barely handle it!

:: Trish and Lita fade from the screen. Monique begins backing up towards the locker room as the two continue their stare-off. We fade to commercial. When we return, “Born in East L.A.” is playing and we see Savio Antonio in the ring. ::

Carl Rogers - Welcome back to Pandemonium! Savio Antonio is in the ring and he is awaiting the Canadian superstar Brayden Wolfe.

Kyleigh “Spark” - Can you believe what we just heard? An Iron WOMAN match!

Carl Rogers - It should be a great night next week!

Ring Announcer - Already in the Ring… Savio Antonio! :: “Too Many Years” by Kodak Black plays throughout the arena as Brayden Wolfe walks onto the ramp. He is accompanied by his girlfriend Kelsey and his bodyguard Big Steve. :: Ring Announcer - Making his way to the ring… from Peterborough, Ontario, Canada… The Pretty Boy… BRAYYYYDDDOOONNNN WOOOLLLFFEE! Kyleigh “Spark” – Brayden Wolfe is looking to making quick work of Antonio, just like he did to Mahal last week. Barry Hanson - Now that is a face worthy of being the face of Next Level Wrestling.

Kyleigh “Spark” - I don’t know what you’re talking about. :: “Too Many Years” fades and The Bell Rings. :: (Wolfe wastes no time and charges at Antonio and connects with a Standing DropKick, knocking Antonio into the corner. Wolfe walks up and connects with a few hard right hands. He grabs the head of Antonio, sets him up, and connects with a Snap Suplex. Wolfe runs to the rops, hops on and off, and lands on Antonio with a Springboard Moonsault. He goes for the cover… the ref counts… One…Two…Th… kickout by Antonio. Wolfe reaches down to grab Antonio, Antonio surprises Wolfe with a rollup…the ref counts… One..Two..kickout by Wolfe. Wolfe rolls out, Antonio gets to his feet, he turns towards Wolfe, right into a Superkick. Wolfe heads to the corner. He hops to the top turnbuckle, sets up, leaps, and connects with a Shooting Star Press. Wolfe hooks the legs… the ref counts… ONE…TWO…THREE!!) Ring Announcer - Here is your winner: BRAAAYYYDDDOONNNN WOOOLLFFFEE!

Kyleigh “Spark” – Wolfe made quick work of Savio Antonio. Carl Rogers – Wolfe has put on a display of skills the last few weeks. Barry Hanson – That is a face made for television.

Kyleigh “Spark” - I still don’t know what you’re talking about.

:: We fade to another promo for No Escape, this time with updated graphics for the Iron Woman Match. When we return, “Fatal” is playing and the Psycho Tiger is on his way to the ring. ::

Ring Announcer - The following contest is scheduled for one fall! Introducing first… he is the Psycho Tiger… Tazai Mitsubishi!

:: Tazai slides into the ring. ::

Carl Rogers - Tazai Mitsubishi sure has had an impressive run in the NLW!

Kyleigh “Spark” - Impressive enough to be entered into the Four Way Iron Man Match for the Hardcore Championship!

:: “Real American” begins playing and Hulk Hogan steps onto the stage. ::

Carl Rogers - And here comes the immortal Hulk Hogan!

Barry Hanson - He hasn’t looked so immortal since signing his contract.

Kyleigh “Spark” - That’s right. He looks to end a losing streak here tonight.

Ring Announcer - And his opponent, from Venice Beach, California… HUUUUUULK HOOOOOGAN!

:: Hogan gets into the ring and rips his Hulkamania shirt off. The music fades and the bell rings. ::

(Hogan poses for the crowd as Tazai looks on and scoffs at Hogan. Tazai runs at Hogan and leaps for a cross-body, but Hogan catches him and slams him to the mat. Hogan wags his finger at Tazai and Tazai gets back to his feet. Tazai runs at him one more time, but this time baseball slides through Hogans legs. He hops to his feet and springboards off of the top rope with a moonsault as Hogan turns around. He connects and turns the moonsault into a pin. One. Two. Kickout by Hogan.)

Carl Rogers - You wonder if Tazai is simply too fast for Hogan.

Barry Hanson - You’re damn right he is! That old man can’t handle the speed!

(Tazai gets back to his feet and bounces off of the ropes. As Hogan gets up, he is met with a dropkick to the right knee. Hogan drops to a knee and Tazai gets up and delivers a flurry of kicks to Hogan’s face and chest. Tazai dropkicks Hogan in the face and sends him to his back. He runs over to the corner and hops up to the top turnbuckle. He leaps off with a shooting star press but Hogan rolls out of the way. Hogan gets to his feet and pulls Tazai up. He connects with a hard right to Tazai’s face. And another.)

Carl Rogers - Hogan is mounting some offense here!

(Hogan rears back for another one, but Tazai ducks under it. He kicks Hogan’s left leg out from under him and Hogan falls back on his back. As Hogan is getting up, Tazai nails him with 12 O’Clock and goes for the cover. ONE! TWO! THREE!)

Carl Rogers - And just like that, Tazai Mitsubishi continues his winning ways!

Barry Hanson - I told you it would happen!

Ring Announcer - Here is your winner… TAZAAAAI MITSUBIIIIISHIIII!

:: Mitsubishi gets up and looks down at Hogan. He exits the ring as we fade to a commercial. “The Vengeful One” by Disturbed begins playing and Chris Moxley steps out from the back with his manager Faith Callihan to a chorus of boos. ::

Carl Rogers - Kyleigh, last week Chris Moxley was so impressive in his debut match that the NLW officials granted him a shot at new NLW Pure Champion Carlos Ruiz and his title this week.

Kyleigh “Spark” - That’s right. We will see if Chris Moxley can knock off the champion for a short-lived reign, or will Carlos Ruiz maintain his impressive undefeated streak and retain his Pure Championship?

:: Moxley gets into the ring and paces around for a few seconds before “Mazz Cumbias” hits over the P.A. System. Carlos comes out with his leather jacket and Maui Jim sunglasses on and the crowd goes nuts. The NLW Pure Championship is around his waist as he poses for the crowd at the top of the ramp. ::

Carl Rogers - Here comes the champion! Last week we saw him defeat Alexander Midas for the NLW Pure Championship. This sent Midas into an apparent downward spiral, as no one knows where he’s been for a week.

Kyleigh “Spark” - That is correct. We sure hope he’s doing well. Still no sign of him this evening, folks. On another note, how impressive was Carlos Ruiz last week?

Carl Rogers - Very impressive. He ended Midas’ undefeated streak and captured the Pure Championship in doing so.

:: Carlos steps into the ring and poses again for the crowd. He takes off his jacket and sunglasses and hands them to the ring attendant. He then unsnaps the Pure Championship from his waist and hands it to the referee. The music fades as we focus in on the ring announcer. ::

Ring Announcer - The following contest is scheduled for one fall and it is for the Next Level Wrestling Pure Championship! Introducing first, the challenger. From Seattle, Washington and weighing in at 228 pounds… he is accompanied by Faith Callihan… CHRIIIIIIS MOOOOXLEEEY!

:: The crowd boos and starts a “Carlos” chant. ::

Ring Announcer - And his opponent… from Madrid, Spain and weighing in at 205 pounds… he is the Next Level Wrestling Pure Champion… CAAAAARLOOOOOS RUUUUUIIIIIZ!

:: This draws a huge pop from the crowd. The referee raises the belt high above his head and the bell rings. ::

(Carlos bounces around the ring while Moxley just watches. Carlos stops when he gets in front of Moxley and extends his hand for a handshake. Moxley looks at Carlos’ hand, scoffs, and slaps it away. Carlos’ smile fades and he locks up with Moxley. He turns it into a headlock and Moxley lifts Carlos off of the ground for a belly-to-back suplex. However, Carlos flips over Moxley and lands on his feet. He shoves Moxley into the ropes and on the return goes for a hurricanrana on Moxley. Moxley catches Ruiz and turns it into a face buster on Carlos. He goes for the cover. One. Two. Kickout by Carlos. Moxley is back up to his feet and he lifts Carlos off of the ground. Carlos hits a right hand into the gut of Moxley. And another. Carlos bounces off of the ropes and swings with a clothesline. Moxley ducks and turns it into a neckbreaker.)

Carl Rogers - So far the challenger has been a half of a step faster than the champion.

Barry Hanson - That crazy Spaniard is getting what he deserves!

(Moxley pops up to his feet and Carlos rolls out of the ring holding his neck and wincing. The referee begins to count as Moxley exits the ring after Carlos. Moxley runs at Carlos and nails him with a clothesline. Carlos falls to the floor hard. Moxley says something to a fan in the front row and then turns back to Carlos. The referee is at three. Moxley picks Carlos up and Irish whips him towards the barricade, but Ruiz reverses it. Moxley reverses the reversal and turns it into a hard short-arm clothesline, sending Carlos back to the arena floor. The referee’s count is now at five. Moxley picks Carlos up off of the ground and hooks him up for a suplex. Carlos blocks it with his leg and then delivers a suplex of his own. The two lay on the arena floor as the referee sounds off with “Seven!” Carlos slowly gets up to his feet and slides into the ring at the count of eight. Moxley gets to his feet at nine and slides into the ring.)

Kyleigh “Spark” - Chris Moxley just barely made it into the ring. This match continues.

(Moxley and Carlos both get to their feet and start exchanging right hands. Moxley gains the upper hand and whips Carlos into the opposite ropes. He leapfrogs Carlos and drops to his back with his feet over his head to catapult Carlos. Carlos bounces off of the ropes and stops himself. He grabs Moxley’s feet and delivers a split-leg leg drop onto the backs of both of Moxley’s knees, which pin Moxley down for a cover. One. Two. Moxley kicks out. Carlos is back to his feet, but not before Moxley and Moxley runs at Carlos with a clothesline. Carlos ducks and turns around and hooks Moxley up into a full-nelson. He slams Moxley down and goes for the cover. One. Two. Th… kickout by Moxley!)

Carl Rogers - Carlos is beginning to gain a little momentum. Let’s see if the champ has it in him to finish this match!

(Carlos claps his hands at the referee, asking him if it was “tres.” The referee holds up two fingers and says “no.” Carlos gets up to his feet and paces the ring for a second. He walks back over to Moxley who is on his knees, now. Moxley punches Carlos in the gut and then gets up to his feet. He hooks Carlos up for a DDT, but Carlos counters it into a northern lights suplex and bridges it. One. Two.. kickout by Moxley. Carlos gets to his feet and begins to pull Moxley up off of the ground. Moxley reaches up and rakes the eyes of Carlos. Carlos stumbles back as the referee scolds Moxley about a disqualification. Moxley walks over to Carlos and kicks Carlos in the left knee a few times, knocking Carlos down to one knee. Moxley grabs Carlos’ left leg and flips Carlos onto his back. Moxley then puts Carlos into a single-leg Boston Crab. The referee begins asking Carlos if he quits and he painfully shakes his head “no.”)

Carl Rogers - Could this be it? If Carlos quits then we will have a new Pure Champion!

Barry Hanson - Come on Moxley!

Crowd - CAR-LOS! CAR-LOS! CAR-LOS!...

(With the crowd behind him, Carlos begins to raise himself off of the canvas with his arms. He then rolls it through and into a pinning combination on Moxley. One. Two. Kickout by Moxley. Moxley releases the hold and gets up to his feet. He goes to drop a leg on Carlos’ face, but Carlos rolls out of the way and gets back up to his feet. Moxley lands hard on the canvas and grabs his lower back. Carlos stands in the corner looking at Moxley and waiting for him to get up. He yells “VIVA LA LUCHA!” as he stands there waiting.)

Carl Rogers - I think he’s getting ready for Spanish Eyes!

Kyleigh “Spark” - If he nails it, Carlos will probably keep his title!

(Moxley slowly gets up to his feet. Carlos goes for Spanish Eyes and Moxley ducks out of the way. Moxley kicks Carlos in the gut and hooks him up for Moxicity. Carlos squirms free and shoves Moxley into the corner. Before hitting the turnbuckle, Moxley puts on the brakes with his hands on the top rope. He turns around but is met by Spanish Eyes! Carlos rolls on top of Moxley. One! Two! THREE!)

:: The bell rings and “Mazz Cumbias” begins playing. ::

Ring Announcer - The winner of this match… and STILL NLW Pure Champion… CAAAARLOOOS RUUUUIZ!

:: Carlos gets up as the referee hands him the Pure Championship belt. Carlos celebrates in the ring. ::

Carl Rogers - Carlos beats Moxley and retains his belt! What a match!

:: Carlos continues to celebrate in the ring as we fade to a commercial. When we return, "Pia's Theme" by Christopher Melotti begins to echo drearily throughout the arena. Smoke begins to pour out onto the stage. Jagen Hagar, in a dirty white robe, and A Girl in a black robe slowly make their way to the ring. Hagar slowly enters the ring, ignoring all the heckles, boos, and jeers. A girl walks over by the ring announcer and remains motionless the entire match.. ::

Carl Rogers - Welcome back. We just saw Carlos Ruiz retain his NLW Pure Championship. Now we have a hardcore match between Jagen Hagar and Erik Black!

Kyleigh “Spark” - Erik Black is another man who was impressive in his debut. Let’s see what he can do against HEAD’S favored servant, A Man. He is accompanied by A Girl who, in my opinion, had a very impressive showing against the Divas Champion earlier tonight before falling short.

Ring Announcer – Introducing first, from Parts Unknown… JAGGGEEENNN HAAAAGAAARRRR! Kyleigh “Spark”- But Carl, Jagen Hagar is one of the most dangerous competitors in the NLW. Carl Rogers – Hagar has shown an affinity for violence, and the skill to inflict pain in a variety of ways upon his opponents.

:: “Death Trend Setta” by Crossfade begins to play and Erik Black steps out from the locker room and begins walking towards the ring. ::

Ring Announcer - His opponent, from Los Angeles, California… ERRIIKKKK BLLLAAAACCCCKKKK! Kyleigh “Spark”- Like I said before, Erik Black had an impressive debut last week.
