Thursday Night Pandemonium - September 7, 2017

Thursday Night Pandemonium

September 7, 2017

Live from the Moda Center in Portland, Oregon

:: The show intro finishes playing and fireworks go off in the Moda Center in Portland, Oregon. The crowd is electric and chanting “NLW” as the camera pans around the arena seeing various signs for the superstars of the NLW. The camera then focuses in on the broadcast table. ::

Carl Rogers - Hello everyone! Welcome to Next Level Wrestling’s Thursday Night Pandemonium! I’m Carl Rogers and I am being joined, as usual, by Barry Hanson and Kyleigh “Spark.” What an amazing night No Escape was! We saw THREE new champions crowned! Tazai Mitsubishi was able to outlast Jagen Hagar, Erik Black, and Riddick Cage in a brutal, but amazing, Hardcore Iron Man Match in order to win the NLW Hardcore Championship.

Kyleigh “Spark” - And Monique Browning finally got the best of Becky Lynch in an Iron Woman Match that was equally as amazing in order to win the NLW Divas Championship.

Carl Rogers - That’s right. And then we capped the evening off with Adrian Veidt becoming the new NLW Million Dollar Champion.

Barry Hanson - It was completely unfair! The NLW needs to review the whole match!

Carl Rogers - Regardless of what happened, “The Million Dollar Man” Ted DiBiase is no longer the champion. And the NLW has granted him an opportunity to take out his frustrations right away, as he will face off with the man who many believe COST him the Million Dollar Championship, Dr. Felix Goode.

Kyleigh “Spark” - And don’t forget about Carlos Ruiz. Carlos was able to retain his NLW Pure Championship, the only title that did not change hands.

:: “Mazz Cumbias” begins playing throughout the Moda Center. The crowd erupts and rises to their feet. ::

Carl Rogers - And speaking of Carlos Ruiz, here he comes!

Kyleigh “Spark” - The champ will take on The Hardy Boyz, who are already in the ring, in a two-on-one handicap match!

::Carlos gets into the ring and removes his Maui Jim sunglasses. He poses for the fans, who cheer loudly for him. He unstraps the Pure Championship from his waist and gives it to the ringside attendant. The music fades and the bell rings. ::

(Carlos and ‘Fixed’ Matt start the match out in the ring. Matt charges the smiling Carlos. Carlos ducks under a swinging haymaker. He grabs the neck of Matt Hardy and drops with a neckbreaker. Carlos gets up to his feet and poses for the crowd. Brother Jeff doesn’t like this and he gets into the ring. He runs at Carlos, who back-bodydrops Jeff onto Matt. Matt and Jeff roll out of the ring. Carlos runs to the opposite ropes and bounces off. He leaps and delivers a suicide dive onto The Hardy Boyz. He picks up Matt and rolls him into the ring. He climbs up onto the ring apron and walks over to the corner. He climbs to the top turnbuckle and leaps off with a diving elbow, driving it right into the sternum of Matt. Jeff is to his feet and gets up onto the ring apron. Jeff climbs to the top turnbuckle. Carlos slowly goes for the cover. One. Two. Brother Jeff leaps with a Swanton Bomb, but Carlos sees it coming. Jeff connects with Matt. Jeff is standing above Matt with his hands on his head, not believing what just happened. Jeff turns around. Spanish Eyes! Carlos hits Brother Jeff with Spanish Eyes! Jeff is knocked through the ropes. Carlos is back to his feet and grabs Matt’s legs. He rolls him over and locks him into Cangrejo Espaniol! Matt is in the middle of the ring. He screams for a second but then taps out. The bell rings.)

Carl Rogers - And that was it. Carlos was just one step ahead of The Hardy Boyz that entire match.

Kyliegh “Spark” - He sure was. And he finished them off rather quickly, might I add.

:: The scene shifts to the back where “Mean” Gene Okerlund is standing with NLW Divas Champion Monique Browning. ::

“Mean” Gene Okerlund - Hello, everybody. I’m standing here with NLW Divas Champion Monique Browning. Monique, very impressive win last Friday night at No Escape. You were able to outlast Becky Lynch and take home the Divas Championship.

Monique Browning - Whatchu mean “impressive?” Wasn’t you supposed to say “expected?” ‘Cuz I set into that ring to beat Becky Lynch ass and take that Divas Championship away from her. I did exactly what I said I was gonna do! Don’t sit there and talk ‘bout how I “outlasted” her. She’s lucky she survived! Now…

:: Monique looks up. She sees someone walking towards her. Presumably it’s Becky Lynch. However, a different lady steps into the picture. It’s new NLW Superstar Desire. ::

Monique Browning - Whatchu lookin’ at? Keep steppin’! Ain’t nothin’ to see here for ya!

:: Desire cracks a little smile as she looks at the Divas Championship and then continues walking. The scene fades back to the ring. “The Vengeful One” is playing and Chris Moxley is in the ring. “Death Trend Setta begins playing and Erik Black steps out from the back. ::

Carl Rogers - What was that all about? That was Desire, wasn’t it?

Kyleigh “Spark” - It sure was. She just signed her contract with the NLW earlier this week. You can bet she’s eying that NLW Divas Championship.

Barry Hanson - Nobody’s gonna take it from her!

Carl Rogers - Well, folks, Erik Black is on the way to meet Chris Moxley in the ring. This one is about to get underway.

:: Black steps into the ring and the music fades. The bell rings. ::

(Erik Black pushes his back up against the ropes. The two slowly circle the ring and Black stops. Chris Moxley pushes forward and the two lock up in the middle of the ring. Both men trying to over-power the other, Black then pushes his way to the corner where he puts Moxley. Black lets go of the lock and begins driving his head into the chin and his elbow in the throat of Moxley and the ref begins to count for him to let go. 1..2... Black steps away and circles back to the center of the ring. Moxley squares up and the two begin trading right hands in the center, Moxley blocks a punch from black, ducks down and drives him into the corner, he drives three shoulders into the gut of Black. Moxley then comes up and begins pushing his elbow to the throat of Black and the referee counts for him to let go. 1...2...3...4.... Moxley let's go and circles around, Black goes to throw a punch to Moxley but it's blocked and Moxley response with a hard punch of his own knocking Black back into the corner. Chris then starts throwing hard body shots and he moves back, runs forward and jumps at Black but Black is able to move out of the way causing Chris to smash into to turnbuckle. Chris bounces off and Black is behind him, he wraps his arms around Chris and throws him back with a hard suplex. Black gets back to his feet m, walks to Chris and picks him up by his head, Black grabs Chris's arm and throws him are into the ropes, on the return Chris tries to throw a clothesline but Black is able to duck and Chris bounces off the next ropes, on the return Black throws a hard kick to the gut of Chris and Chris bends over in pain, immediately Black wraps his arms around the neck of Chris and drops back with a hard DDT. Black goes for the pin.) Ref: 1...2 (Chris kicks out. Black gets to his feet, he picks Chris up by his head and whips him into the corner. Black walks up to him and throws a hard uppercut to the chin of Chris which causes him to stumble a bit holding himself up with the ropes, Black throws a hard body shot curling Chris over, Black then whips Chris into the other side of the ropes, on the return Chris jumps in the air and throws a hard elbow to the face of Black knocking both men to the ground. Both men slowly work back to their feet, both men standing and run at one another Chris hits Black with a clothesline knocking him down but quickly back to his feet Chris runs forward and hits another clothesline knocking Black down again but Black is again quickly on his feet and stumbles back into the corner, Chris sprints at him, leaps in the air, but Black catches him, jumps up and slams Chris into the mat. Black quickly circles around grabbing ahold of Chris's arm, Black quickly transitions into a tight Armbar, but both men are close to the ropes and Chris is able to put his leg on the bottom. The ref motions for Black to let go and begins his count. 1...2...3...4 Black lets go and rolls backward pushing himself back to his feet. Chris holding his arm uses the ropes to slowly pull himself up. Black grabs Chris's neck and lifts him in the air dropping back with a suplex. Without letting go Black circles to his belly, gets back to his feet and lifts Chris up dropping him with another suplex. Black then quickly transitions to a full mount position where he begins to drop hard elbows to the face of Chris, Chris is able to roll over, but Black stays on the back and slaps on a sleeper hold. Black begins squeezing hard and Chris noticeably growing weak and seemingly goes limp. The ref lifts Chris's hand and drops it to see if he is out, Chris fights it off, gets to his knees and begins to work his way to his feet. Black still squeezing, but Chris gets up and smashes two hard elbows to the gut of Black causing him to let go of the hold, Chris sprints to the ropes and on the return before he can do anything Black nails him with a hard scoop slam and goes for the cover.) Referee - 1...2.... (Kickout! Black hits the mat with his hand in anger. Gets back to his feet and picks Chris up, Black whips Chris hard to the corner and sprints at him, leaps up and dives spearing Chris into the corner, Black then lifts Chris up and places him on the top turnbuckle. Black climbs up as well and lifts Chris so his head is under his arm like he is about to give him a superplex from the top rope. Chris begins throwing punches to the gut of Black and then pushes him off off the ropes, Black falls to his back into the mat and Chris quickly leaps off attempting a frog splash, but Black is able to roll out of the way causing Chris to smash belly first into the mats, both men down. They both slowly start working to their feet, Chris using the ropes is up first, he takes a deep breath and then runs forward, he gets close to Black and then drives his knee into the side of Black's ribs causing black to fall over. Chris picks him up and places him into the corner and begins throwing kicks to Black's gut. The referee calls for a rope break 1...2...3... Chris let's go and then drives in with a hard right to the jaw of Black causing him to stumble forward, Chris grabs ahold and connects with a belly to belly and pins Black.) Referee - 1...2.... (KICKOUT! Black with a hard kickout, Chris quickly to his feet begins stomping on Black, he then picks Black up and whips him into the ropes, on the return Chris goes to throw a clothesline that is ducked by Black, Black instead of running to the next side of the ropes stops and when Chris turns around Black locks on a tight Thai clinch, Chris begins trying to escape but is unable to, Black throws two hard knees to the face off Chris and tosses him down with a swinging neckbreaker and then locks on an anaconda choke, Symphony of Violence. Black is squeezing harder and harder with the ref continually checking on Chris, he doesn't want to tap but Chris goes unconscious. The ref checks on Chris a few times and there is no movement. The ref breaks up the hold and when Black lets go Chris Moxley lays in the ring motionless.) :: The bell rings and “Death Trend Setta” plays. ::

Carl Rogers - What a match! Erik Black takes one and, folks, Chris Moxley is slowly sinking downhill.

Kyleigh “Spark” - He needs to figure out a way to get back to the win column.

Carl Rogers - Yes he does. And he may have a chance to do that next Thursday on a historical night. In what may be the final event held at what we know right now is the KeyArena, we will be live with Pandemonium from Seattle, Washington!

Kyleigh “Spark” - I can’t wait. I love Seattle. And the KeyArena is a historic place. But they plan on some major remodels to try and bring an NBA or NHL team to the city of Seattle.

Carl Rogers - Coming up next, the new NLW Hardcore Champion Tazai Mitsubishi will take on Tommy Cruise in a non-title hardcore match. We will be right back.

:: We fade to commercial. When we return, “Chop Suey” by System of a Down plays throughout the arena and Tommy Cruise walks onto the ramp. He makes his way toward the ring. :: Kyleigh “Spark” - Cruise has been up and down since joining Next Level Wrestling. He has shown flashes of greatness, but then followed with unimpressive losses. Barry Hanson - Cruise will make it to the top. He is no Titantic. :: The music fades as Cruise enters the ring. “Fatal” by Critical Mass plays and Tazai Mitsubishi comes out through a cloud of red smoke. He has his newly acquired NLW Hardcore Title around his waist. :: Carl Rogers - The Psycho Tiger won the Inaugural Fourway Sixty-Minute Iron Man match for the Hardcore Championship. I am surprised he is able to compete this week. Kyleigh “Spark” – That had to be one of the greatest matches I have ever seen, Carl. Barry Hanson - And you know who the world can thank for that? :: seemingly on que... “WHAT DO WE WANT! WHAT DO WE NEED? HEAD! HEAD! HEAD!” followed by Insane in the Membrane by Cypress Hill blasts throughout the arena. The NLWtron cuts to HEAD next to a box of Chamomile tea and 9mm handgun. :: HEAD (Morgan Freeman Voice) – Psycho Tiger. My Hardcore Champion. I would golf clap for you. But… This may not be a title defense. But I want you to defend the honor of my Hardcore Title. Tommy Cruise, you have shown you can’t reach the extreme. Well, tonight is your chance to take it to the Hardcore Champ and if you impress HEAD, you will be rewarded. Referee, this is no longer a pinfall match. This is now a FIRST BLOOD MATCH. THE GIFT OF HEAD HAS BEEN GIVEN! Barry Hanson - Why is everyone not on their knees bowing to the God of NLW Hardcore. He is so charitable. Kyleigh “Spark” - Why did a HEAD with no arms have a gun? Are we just ignoring that? :: Tazai is in the ring and the bell rings:: (The Psycho Tiger wastes no time as he charges Cruise. Cruise is ready for him and proactively steps forward and takes Psycho Tiger down with a Clothesline. Cruise grabs Tazai, lifts him to his feet, and whips him into the ropes, Tazai jumps on the ropes then bounces off and connects with a Springboard Back Elbow, knocking Cruise back a step. Tazai quickly slides behind Cruise, and attempts to lock in a Sleeper Hold, but Cruise maneuvers out of it and behind Tazai. As the Psycho Tiger turns, he is met with a devastating Superkick, knocking Tazai hard to the mat. Cruise walks over to the corner. The camera zooms in to see Cruise taking off the turnbuckle cover. Then he proceeds to the closest corner, and repeats the action. He turns his attention back to Psycho Tiger.) Barry Hanson - Smart thinking right there by Cruise. If HEAD didn’t change the match, that could have been it. But he is adapting and preparing for victory. (Cruise walks over and attempts to stomp on the downed Tazai, but Tazai grabs Cruise’s foot, and uses his momentum while spinning his body to take Cruise to the ground. Both men get to their feet at the same time, Cruise charges at Tazai this time, but Tazai bends over, and catapults Cruise over the ropes and hard onto the outside. Cruise races across the ring and bounces of the ropes. He hits the ropes closest to Tazai as Tazai gets to hits feet. Cruise jumps clear over the ropes and connects with a Corkscrew Senton, sending both men crashing to the floor.) Kyleigh “Spark” - This has been a back and forth battle. Neither man has gained the upper hand. (Both men are stirring for about ten seconds before Cruise is the first to get to his feet. He reaches over and grabs Psycho Tiger by his head and drags him to his feet. He whips Tazai into the RingPost, but Tazai had the wherewithal to get his hands up and stop his head from colliding into the Ringpost. Tazai quickly turns, connecting with an Elbow to the face of Cruise. Tazai goes for a Forearm Shot, but Cruise ducks it and grabs Tazai’s arm and twists it back all in one motion. Cruise lifts Tazai and connects with a modified Over the Head Suplex, sending Tazai crashing into the apron.) Barry Hanson - You were saying Kyleigh? (Cruise wastes no time and brings Tazai to his knees, Cruise sets him up, lifts, and drops Tazai headfirst with a Piledriver onto the outside. The ref rushes over to check if the match is over.) Carl Rogers - This might be it folks. Barry Hanson - HEAD will not be pleased if this match ends without any weapons. (The ref signals the match will continue. Frustrated, Cruise stomps on the downed Tazai before grabbing him, dragging him to his feet, then rolling him into the ring. Before heading into the ring, realizing it will take more than that to bust The Psycho Tiger open, Cruise reaches under the ring and pulls out a few chairs and tosses them in the ring. He walks around to other side and retrieves a table from under the ring. He slides the table into the ring, then hops on the apron. As he slides through the ropes, Psycho Tiger pops up and connects with a few Backhand Chops, forcing Cruise into the unpadded turnbuckle. Realizing this Psycho Tiger drives a few quick knees to the gut of Cruise, grabs him arm, whips him around and right into the exposed turnbuckle. Cruise’s chest bounces off the exposed turnbuckle and he drops to the mat. Psycho Tiger walks over to the table and props it up in the opposing corner. He grabs a chair and sets it up a few feet from the table. He leans over to grab the other chair, but Cruise comes out of nowhere, grabs his head, sets him up, and drops him with a Package Piledriver right onto the chair.) Kyleigh “Spark” - Psycho Tiger had this match in hand. But spent too much time on the toys and Cruise capitalized.

(Cruise heads to the corner, he leans against the table, then darts towards Tazai, Cruise steps onto the chair and leaps off, he goes for a Moonsault but Psycho Tiger rolls out of the way. Psycho Tiger grabs the chair, knocked over from Cruise’s momentum, and clocks Cruise in the head twice with the chair. The ref checks, still no blood. Psycho Tiger drops the chair. He whips Cruise into the table head first, but the table doesn’t break, so Psycho Tiger wraps Cruise’s arms between the ropes. He quickly walks to the middle of the ring, he charges, and connects with 12 O’ Clock! This smashes Cruise’s head through the table. The ref checks on Cruise and sees blood leaking out of the back of Cruise’s head.) :: The bell rings and “Fatal” begins playing. :: Carl Rogers - Wow. What a match. HEAD might be insane, but he knows how to appease the crowds. And we still have much more to come. Kyleigh “Sparks” - It is going to be hard to top this one. Both men put it all on the line.

:: Tazai grabs his Hardcore Championship as we fade to commerical. When we return, “It’s All About the Money” is playing and “The Million Dollar Man” Ted DiBiase is in the ring. ::

Carl Rogers - You know that "The Million Dollar Man" Ted DiBiase is unhappy about last week.

Barry Hanson - As he should be! Dr. Felix Goode cost him the Million Dollar Championship!

:: "Psycho Killer" by The Talking Heads begins playing. The lights go out in the arena. There's a mysterious red glow. When the lights come back, Dr. Felix Goode is standing in the ring and Nurse Siri is outside of it. The music stops abruptly and the bell rings. ::

Carl Rogers - Where did he come from?!

Kyleigh "Spark" - I don't know, but he scares the ever-livin' out of me!

(DiBiase and Dr. Goode circle each other a few times. Dr. Goode gives an odd smile and lets a rat out of his sleeve. The rat runs towards the referee, the referee jumps out of it's way, giving Goode the chance to use his red mist causing the eyes of “The Million Dollar Man” to burn.) Barry Hanson - He cheated the cheater. I am so mind-blown right now. Carl Rogers - That was an unorthodox start. (DiBiase grabs his eyes and drops to a knee. The ref turns and Dr. Goode just casually walks to the corner avoiding eye contact with the ref. He then turns and charges at DiBiase and stops. He drags DiBiase to his knees, wraps up DiBiase, setting him up, lifting him, and dropping him hard to the mat with Pumphandle Slam. Goode goes for the cover…the ref counts.. One..Tw…kickout by DiBiase. Goode walks around awkwardly for a second, then goes to grab Dibiase, but it met with an eye poke, the ref counted see as his vantage point was blocked by the back of Goode. DiBiase pops up and connects with a hard right hand, then another, followed by a knee to the gut. He sneaks behind Goode and locks in The Million Dollar Dream. Goode is flailing, trying to get out, but the more he struggles, the more oxygen he loses. About 15 seconds into the Million Dollar Dream… the ref grabs the arm… he lifts it up, it drops once, he lifts it up again, it drops, he lifts it up for the third and final time, and it drops.)

:: The bell rings and "It's All About the Money" begins playing. Dr. Goode turns and looks at DiBiase in the eyes and smiles and laughs. ::

Carl Rogers - I think... I think Dr. Felix Goode just threw that match.

Kyleigh "Spark" - It would appear so. Some SERIOUS mind games being played here.

:: DiBiase exits the ring nearly in shock. He looks at Dr. Felix Goode, not even celebrating his win. He knows it was given to him. The scene moves to the back where “Mean” Gene Okerlund is with NLW Divas Champion Monique Browning. ::

“Mean” Gene Okerlund - Folks, Ms. Browning has asked me to try this again. She said she wasn’t quite done with what she had to say earlier.

Monique Browning - That’s right. I was interrupted by that no-good Desire earlier. Now, as I was sayin’...

:: Out of nowhere, Monique is cracked over the back of her head by her own guitar, Lucy III. The guitar shatters and Monique hits the deck. The camera pans up to see Valentina Moore standing there smiling and holding the guitar shaft in her hand. She throws it on the ground and looks at “Mean” Gene, who is stunned. We fade to commercial. When we return from commercial, we see the broadcast table where Carl, Kyleigh, and Barry are all seated waiting for the main event.

Carl Rogers - Ladies and gentlemen. We have seen the two newest NLW superstars have an impact tonight.

Kyleigh “Spark” - That’s right, Carl. First, Desire interrupted Monique Browning’s interview in the back. Then, while trying another go at it, Monique was attacked by Valentina Moore with her own guitar.

Carl Rogers - And medical attention is with Monique right now. We hear she is okay, but shaken up and angry. Well, folks… we are moments from the Main Event featuring the Million Dollar Champion Adrian Veidt pitted against “The Pretty Boy” Braydon Wolfe. WAIT. I am being told there is something going on again backstage. We will bring you there now. :: The camera cuts to the backstage area. The infamous Masked Men seem to be on the attack again. Veidt gets a hard right hand in on Masked Man #1, but Masked Man #2 comes from behind with a crowbar and smashes it across the back of Veidt’s head. The Masked Men turn their attention to the already downed Braydon Wolfe. Masked Man #1 walks into a nearby locker room and grabs a chair. He comes out and sets Wolfe’s ankle in between. Masked Man #2 climbs onto some sound equipment boxes, leaps and connects with a Double Stomp to the ankle of Wolfe. Veidt is getting to his knees, trying to fight the dizziness and push himself to his feet. Masked Man #1 runs up and connects with a leg drop to the back of Veidt’s head. Masked Man #2 grabs the crowbar and begins pummeling Veidt as Masked Man #1 takes the chair and does the same to Wolfe. ::

Kyleigh “Spark” - Someone needs to put a stop to them. They just ruined the Main Event for the entire NLW Universe. That would have been an epic match. Carl Rogers - It is hard to stop two people with no identity and seemingly come from nowhere as they please.

:: Suddenly, Hulk Hogan, Carlos Ruiz, and Bryan Danielson come to their aid, as the Masked Men flee the scene of the crime. Medical attention is given to Veidt and Wolfe as we go off of the air. ::
