Thursday Night Pandemonium
September 14, 2017
Live from the KeyArena in Seattle, Washington
:: The show intro finishes playing and fireworks go off in the KeyArena in Seattle, Washington. The crowd is electric as the camera pans around the arena seeing various signs for the superstars of the NLW. The camera then focuses in on the broadcast table. ::
Carl Rogers - Welcome, everybody, to NLW Pandemonium! Welcome to the KeyArena in Seattle, Washington! I am Carl Rogers and I am being joined, as usual, by the lovely Miss Kyleigh “Spark” and Barry Hanson!
Kyleigh “Spark” - I am excited for tonight, Carl. We will see the debut of another star in the Divas Division, Desire!
Carl Rogers - That’s right. In addition to that, we will see Carlos Ruiz defend his NLW Pure Championship against Jagen Hagar. Barry, I’m wondering how much longer Carlos will be able to hold this Pure Championship.
Barry Hanson - Against A Man? The reign ends tonight!
Carl Rogers - That may be so. Only time will tell. Tommy Cruise, Hulk Hogan, Brayden Wolfe, Erik Black… tonight has it all, folks!
Kyleigh “Spark” - But Taenerys Dargaryen is in the ring and we are ready to get this night started!
:: "Sexy, Naughty, Bitchy" by Tata Young blasts over the loudspeakers as Desire bursts onto the ramp from backstage. The fans can feel her energy and excitement for her debut. She slaps hands and fist bumps her way to the ring. She hops on the apron, then flips over the top rope. ::
Carl Rogers - Desire looking to make a statement here. Kyleigh “Spark” - Listen to those fans. She just got here and already they love her. Barry Hanson - Until Monique Browning shows her who’s boss. Kyleigh “Spark” - If I was the Divas Champion, I would be paying close attention to this match.
Carl Rogers - And, as you mentioned, she will take on Taenerys Dargaryen in, surprisingly, only her second match in the NLW.
Kyleigh “Spark” - From what I’ve heard, she’s been busy getting the legal rights to all of those nicknames that she mentioned in her interview the other day with Ron Burgundy.
Barry Hanson - Kyliegh… did you just make a joke?
Kyleigh “Spark” - Yes, I did!
Barry Hanson - I give it a C-!
Carl Rogers - Come on, Barry. That was funny!
:: Desire poses for the crowd to a huge pop. The music fades and the bell rings. ::
(Taenerys and Desire circle each other before locking up. Taenerys gets the advantage and takes Desire down with a Japanese Arm Drag. She transitions into an Armbar. The ref checks on Desire, but Desire refuses to quit. She manages to get to a knee, then to her feet. She manages to use her free arm to deliver an Eblow under the chin of Taenerys, forcing her to release the hold. Desire quickly follows up with a Forearm Smash, and another, she quickly grabs Taenerys and whips her into the corner. Desire does a Back Handspring and connects with a Handspring Back Elbow. Desire grabs the head of Taenerys and goes for a Running Bulldog, but Taenerys has the wherewithal to push Desire off, and Desire crashes into the mat. Desire quickly jumps to her feet but is met with a Roundhouse Kick. Taenerys quickly grabs the arm of Desire, sets her up, lifts, and brings her down with a Pumphandle Slam. Taenerys goes for the cover…the ref counts… One..T…kickout by Desire.) Barry Hanson - Your girl is having a little trouble out there Kyeligh. Is the “spark” slowly dying? Kyleigh “Spark” - Shut up, Barry. It’s still early. Anything can happen. (Taenarys grabs the head of Desire, drags her to her feet, quickly sets up and drives Desire to the mat with a Snap Suplex. Taenrys again drags Desire to her feet, yelling at her “I am The Mother of Wrestling. You are nothing to me.” She pulls Desire close to the corner, setting up for the Phaleesisploder, but as she locks in the grip, Desire connects with a few elbows to the head, forcing Taernerys to release the hold. Desire follows up with a shoulder tackle, forcing Taenerys into the ropes. Desires drives knee into the gut of Taenerys then scoops her up, but instead of a slam, sets her up on the ropes. Desire hopes over the ropes onto the apron, and locks in the Rope Hung Boston Crab. The ref is comes over and taps on Desire’s arm, telling her to release the hold. But she maintains her grip. The ref starts his 5 count, when he gets to 4, Desire releases Taenerys. Desire slides under the ropes, she grabs the head of Taenerys and drags her to her feet. She appeals to the crowd, and they erupt in cheers as she props Taenerys onto the top turnbuckle. As she appeals to the crowd, Taenerys connects with a knee to the face of Desire, grabs her head, goes for a Tornado DDT, but it is reversed into The Problem Solver. Desire goes for the cover…the ref counts… One…Two…Three!) :: “Sexy, Naughty, Bitchy” begins playing again and Desire celebrates to a huge pop from the crowd. ::
Carl Rogers - What a debut match for Desire! She’s sure to rise up quickly in the Divas Division! She has quite the eclectic arsenal.
Kyleigh “Spark” - I hope so. You know how big of a fan I am of the Divas Division!
Barry Hanson - We know. It’s almost like you…
Carl Rogers - Don’t even think about going there, Barry! We will be right back after this commercial break.
:: Barry and Carl begin quietly bickering as the show fades to commercial. When we return, “Real American” is playing and Hulk Hogan is in the ring playing to the crowd. ::
Carl Rogers - Welcome back to Pandemonium! The Immortal Hulk Hogan is in the ring and ready to take on Tommy Cruise!
Kyleigh “Spark” - Hulk Hogan still has not been able to get his feet underneath him in the NLW yet.
Barry Hanson - Well, don’t expect that to happen tonight. Tommy Cruise is on the rise here in the NLW!
:: “Chop Suey” by System of a Down begins playing and the crowd begins booing. Tommy Cruise steps out from the back with Amii Summers and walks towards the ring. ::
Barry Hanson - And here he comes! This man is about to destroy the Hulkster, tonight!
Carl Rogers - We will see how this match goes here in the next couple of minutes.
:: Cruise gets into the ring. Cruise charges at Hogan before the bell rings, as Hulk is posing for the fans, and takes him down with a clothesline from behind. His music fades and the bell rings. :: (Cruise runs to the ropes, jumps on, then off the bottom rope and connects with a Springboard Moonsault to the back of Hogan. He flips Hogan around and goes for the cover…the ref counts… One…Hulk bench presses Cruise off of him.)
Barry Hanson - The No Rules Character is bringing it to that vitamin eater. Kyleigh “Spark” - You mean the cheater is trying to get one over on The Real American. Barry Hanson - Tomato, Tomatoe. (Hogan is pumping his fist as he gets to his feet. Cruise with a hard right but Hogan just shakes it off. Cruise tries another, then another, but Hogan just shakes each one off. Hogan grabs the head of Cruise and connets with his own hard rights, with the fifth one he winds up, when he connects, Cruise is sent to the mat. Hogan grabs Cruise, sets him up for a Suplex, but as he lifts, Cruise slides out the back. Cruise jumps, wraps his legs around the head of Hogan and brings him hard to the mat with a Reverse Frankensteiner. He goes for the cover…the ref counts… One…Two..kickout by Hulk Hogan.) Carl Rogers - What athleticism by Cruise. Not just anyone can pull off that move. Kyleigh “Spark” - Still not enough to finish The Hulkster. (Cruise grabs Hogan, brings him to his feet, and whips him into the ropes, Hogan bounces off, Cruise having, bounced off the other ropes, goes a Cross Body Block but Hogan catches him and transitions into a Powerslam. Hogan picks him up off the mat, throws Cruise's arm over his neck and Hogan hits a suplex in the middle of the ring. Hogan then gets up quick and falls with a hard elbow three times and on the last one he covers Cruise... The ref counts… One... two... Kickout by Cruise. Hogan lifts Cruise up by his arm, he twists his arm, Hogan then spins under the arm twisting it more causing Cruise to drop to a knee. Hogan then steps over the arm and falls backwards putting Cruise in an Armbar position, Hogan begins pulling as the ref watches Cruise closely. Cruise refuses to tap and is able to kick himself back up to his feet, he stacks Hogan pressing his legs down forcing him to let go of the arm, but in return Hogan pushes hard with his feet causing Cruise to stumble backwards into the corner. Hogan gets to his feet and sprints at cruise, before Hogan can do anything Cruise steps forward and hits him with an elbow to the mouth, Hogan stumbles back and Cruise walks forward and grabs the back of Hogan's head smashing it into the mat.)
Carl Rogers - A hard elbow followed by a vicious head-slam into the mat by Tommy Cruise. He’s here to send a message to the NLW!
Barry Hanson - And that message is “I’m gonna kick your…”
Kyleigh “Spark” - We get it, Barry!
(Cruise quickly gets back to his feet, he lifts Hogan up and whips him into the corner, Cruise follows him and When Hogan hits back first into the turnbuckle Cruise also hits him with a clothesline. Cruise then grabs the two sides of middle ropes and begins to drive his shoulders into the gut of Hogan. He then lifts Hogan up sitting him on the top of the turnbuckle. Cruise climbs up and punches Hogan in the face, he then wraps his arm around his neck like he was going for a super suplex, but Hogan is able to reverse and push him off and Cruise crashes down to the mats. Hogan then leaps off of where he is on the turnbuckle connecting with an elbow drop to the downed Cruise. Hogan hurt, but able to throw his arm over Cruise's chest and the referee counts… ONE... TWO.... THR kickout by Cruise! Hogan roles over to his back and puts both hands on his face in shock. Both men roll over and begin climbing to their feet. Both men standing Cruise connects with an uppercut, Hogan tries to respond with a hard right himself but Cruise ducks it, sprints to the ropes and on the return connects with a dropkick to Hogan dropping him to the mat. Cruise quickly to his feet, runs to the ropes and bounces off, leaps up and connects with a leg drop. Cruise then picks Hogan up, tosses him into the ropes and follows, when Hogan bounces off before Cruise is able to do anything he is met with a hard clothesline from Hogan. Hogan then picks Cruise up by the head and whips him into the other side of the ropes, on the return Hogan attempts a big boot, Cruise ducks it and bounces off of the ropes behind Hogan and dives into the back of his leg with a shoulder causing Hogan to drop and grab his knee in pain. Cruise picks Hogan up holding both his arms, Tommy looks around and then connects with TOMMY SAYS! Cruise then picks Hogan up, lifts him up onto his shoulders and connects with OVERTIME! Cruise quickly goes for the pin and the ref counts… ONE... TWO... THREE!)
:: The bell rings and “Chop Suey” begins to play. Tommy Cruise gets up off of Hogan and walks over to the corner and climbs the turnbuckle. Amii Summers gets into the ring to celebrate. ::
Carl Rogers - You weren’t kidding, Barry. He absolutely just rolled over the Hulkster here tonight.
Barry Hanson - I told you he would! Tommy Cruise’s value is rising here in the NLW and Hulk Hogan, well… is a has been!
:: We fade to commercial. When we come back, Sister Reby and Barba Rabra are in the ring with "Holla" by Desire Coleman playing through the PA system. The music fades out and the bell rings as the two stare off at each other :: Carl Rogers - We are back on Pandemonium. Another great Divas Division match with two of the more underrated superstars in the Divas Division, Sister Reby and Barba Rabra.
Kyleigh “Spark” - An underrated match on our show tonight, that’s for sure! (The women meet at the center and lock up. Reby puts Barba in a headlock, wrenching it hard. Barba delivers elbows to the gut and pushes her off into the ropes. Reby bounces off and knocks Barba down with a shoulder block. She then sprints to the ropes and on the return, leaps over Barba who turned over on her stomach before getting back up as Reby bounces off the ropes again. Reby charges in with a clothesline that Barba ducks before running to the ropes herself and comes back, spinning Reby around and around in multiple revolutions with a tilt-a-whirl headscissors takedown. Reby gets back up rather quickly as Barba hops on her shoulders and delivers a frankensteiner. She hooks both legs as she straddles Reby. One. Two. Kickout by Reby.) Carl Rogers - Barba Rabra was close to picking up her first victory here in the NLW!
Kyleigh “Spark” - Well, to be fair, one of them HAS to win, right? Neither of them have won in the NLW to this date. (Barba picks her up and hooks her arm around Reby for a suplex. Reby kicks out her leg to reverse and delivers a snap suplex of her own. Looking to capitalize Reby picks Barba up and goes to the corner to slam her head into the turnbuckle. She repeats a few more times as the crowd chants "DELETE! DELETE! DELETE!". Barba slumps into the corner as Reby walks out to the center of the ring, charging back in to deliver a running spinning heel kick. Barba stumbles out of the corner and Reby delivers a parallel snapmare and a shoot kick to the chest. Reby covers Barba with a lateral press. One. Two. Kickout by Barba.) Carl Rogers - Sister Reby almost took that one, Kyleigh! (Reby sits her up locks in a modified surfboard. Barba struggles to escape as the crowd riles them up. Barba works her way up and turns it around before dropping down for a schoolboy roll up. One. Two. Kickout by Reby. Both women get back up but Barba pulls her in for a small package. One. Two. Kickout by Reby again. Reby is first to get her and picks Barba up by the hair. She delivers a forearm shot and Barba delivers one back. Reby hits her with another forearm but Barba again delivers another one back. Reby then throws a barrage of forearm shots, backing Barba into the ropes. She whips Barba into the ropes but lowers her head too soon as Barba bounces off the ropes with a toe kick to the face that sends her back upright. Barba kicks her in the gut and grabs her head to deliver a sitout facebuster. Barba goes to the corner and climbs up to the top turnbuckle. However, A black haired woman comes racing down the ring and gets up on the ring apron, shoving Barba off the top and down to the mat. She steps through the ropes as Reby starts to get back up. Reby turns around and the woman runs her over with a clothesline. The bell rings as the ref throws the match out.) Kyleigh “Spark” - That’s Valentina Moore! Why has she taken an interest in this match, Carl?
Carl Rogers - I assume she wants to send another message. Last week, she sent a big one to Monique Browning! :: Valentina kneels beside Reby, choking her and then mounting her with a few punches. She gets back up and goes over to the downed Barba, delivering several stomps to the body before the referee restrains her and pulls her away. Valentina looks at the referee with a smirk before rubbing her hand down his chest. She drops to her knees in a seductive manner in front of the referee and hits him hard with a low blow! :: Barry Hanson - Now THAT will ruin your weekend! :: The referee drops to the mat, holding his groin as he rolls out of the ring. Valentina picks Reby back up and delivers a gutwrench suplex. She then goes back over to Barba to pick her up by the hair and drops her with a sidewalk slam. Valentina puts her hands out to a mixed reaction of boos, cheers, and wolf whistles and hoots in between. She goes over the ropes near the commentators and request a microphone in which she receives. :: Valentina Moore - C'mon now. This is ridiculous. Who the hell cares about Sister Reby? Who cares about Barba Rabra? Ha, no one! These people were half-dead out here until I came through. Like honestly. These people want to see a woman who is a winner. They want to see a woman who is ALWAYS in control. They want to see a woman who's on top. :: Valentina licks her lips after the last statement, eliciting some hoots and whistles from the crowd. :: Valentina Moore - I know what you fans want to see. I know what all of you want, too. And I'm willing to get it to you all, right now. :: Valentina starts to fiddle with her shirt, teasing to take it off as the crowd goes wild. However, Valentina shakes her head and stops as the crowd turns the cheers into boos. :: Valentina Moore - Haha! Sike. You dumbass perverts can only see me in the buff in your dreams. I'm only here for one reason and that is to take over this Diva's division. Mark my words. I will do whatever it takes to become the Diva's Champion and will stop at NOTHING to keep it. I hope you little girls in the back are watching because last week was only a taste of what I can do and what you just saw was nothing compared of what I'm REALLY capable of. So, whether you idiots like it or not, Valentina Moore is here and I am here to stay. :: Valentina drops the mic as "Chelsea" by Stefy Rae plays through the P.A system and she gingerly steps through the middle ropes before stepping out of the apron. :: Carl Rogers - Well, there we have it! She definitely wanted to grab the attention of the Divas Division!
Barry Hanson - She grabbed the attention of much more than that!
Kyleigh “Spark” - Easy, Barry! :: As she backpedals up the ramp, she gives a devilish smile as she slowly puts her arms out before using both hands to point to herself. The scene than fades back out to commercial. When we return, "Psycho Killer" by The Talking Heads is playing. The lights are out in the arena. There's a mysterious red glow. When the lights come back, Dr. Felix Goode is standing in the ring and Nurse Siri is outside of it. The music stops abruptly as the crowd stares into the ring at this psychopath. ::
Kyleigh “Spark” - Creepiest entrance I’ve ever seen.
Carl Rogers – Dr. Felix Goode stirred up some controversy after his “loss” to The Million Dollar Man last week. Kyleigh "Spark" – They should kick that creeper out for throwing a match. The NLW has standards. Barry Hanson - I think it was genius. Now, no one in NLW knows how skilled he truly is. Kyleigh “Spark”- Where do you come up with this crap? At least his opponent will bring some honor to this match.
:: “Fatal” by Critical Mass plays and Tazai Mitsubishi comes out through a cloud of red smoke. He has his newly acquired NLW Hardcore Title around his waist. ::
Carl Rogers - And here comes the NLW Hardcore Champion!
Kyleigh “Spark” - If you remember from a couple of weeks ago, Mitsubishi was able to outlast three other men in a Four Way Hardcore Iron Man Match to win that Hardcore Championship.
Carl Rogers – And, Kyleigh, he is coming off another big win last week. Kyleigh “Spark” – Tazai has been just about unstoppable with a record of 8-1 thus far in the NLW. Barry Hanson: Dr. Feel Goode will make sure The Psycho Tiger is not feeling so good after his second loss.
:: Tazai slides into the ring and hands over the Hardcore Championship to the referee. The referee hands it to a ringside attendant and the music fades. ::
P.A. System - “WHAT DO WE WANT! WHAT DO WE NEED? HEAD! HEAD! HEAD!”
:: Followed by “Insane in the Membrane” by Cypress Hill blasts throughout the arena. The NLWtron cuts to HEAD next to a saw and a stuffed bear. :: HEAD (Morgan Freeman Voice) – Psycho Tiger. While holding that title you are not allowed to compete in a non-hardcore stipulated match. And I see Dr. Felix Goode is not opposed to the world of extreme. So, this match is now a Falls Count Anywhere Match. THE GIFT OF HEAD HAS BEEN GIVEN! Kyeligh “Spark” - I would say I am surprised, but that would be a lie. I guess HEAD’s presence should be expected every week. Barry Hanson - And the NLW is damn lucky to have such a genius in control of the Hardcore Division. :: The Bell Rings. :: (Tazai Mitsubishi wastes no time and charges at Dr. Felix Goode as soon as the bell rings, but Dr. Goode is ready and takes him to the mat with a drop toe hold. Dr. Goode immediately attempts to lock in the STF, but Tazai manages to use his momentum to spin on his back, and kick Dr. Goode off of him. Tazai quickly gets to his feet, but Dr. Goode meets him with a step-up enziguri, knocking Tazai right back to the mat. Dr. Goode reaches down to grab Tazai by the head, but Tazai surprises Dr. Goode with a roll-up. The ref counts… One..T…kickout by Dr. Goode. Both men jump to their feet. They circle each other twice before going to lock up, but Tazai darts behind Dr. Goode’s grapple attempt, grabs the head of Dr. Goode and takes him down with a Neckbreaker. Tazai quickly grabs the head of Dr. Goode and lifts him to his feet, he connects with a few Backhand Chops before attempting to whip Dr. Goode into the corner, but Dr. Goode reverses it and takes Tazai down with a Short-Arm Lariat.) Barry Hanson - I told you he was smart. He is playing Psycho Tiger just like he did “The Million Dollar Man.” Kyleigh “Spark” - He is…something. (Dr. Goode grabs Tazai, props him on his shoulders, and begins the process of the Airplane Spin into a Torture Rack Helicopter Swing into Boston Crab combo, but Tazai manages to flip out during one of the swings, drops to the mat, and rolls a few feet. Dr. Goode turns around frustrated and goes to blow the Blue Mist in the face of Tazai but Tazai rolls out of the ring. Dr. Goode slides under the ropes, where he is met a series of backhand chops by Tazai. Tazai follows with a series of kicks to the gut before grabbing he head of Dr. Goode, running a few feet and dropping The Good Doctor face first. He goes for the cover. The ref slides out of the ring. The ref counts… One…Tw…kickout by Dr. Goode.) Carl Rogers - The Hardcore Division utilizing the stipulation HEAD added to this match.
(Tazai quickly gets up and grabs the head of Dr. Goode, jerks him to his feet, in position for the Tiger Grip, but Dr. Goode pushes Tazai off, Tazai charges and Dr. Goode sends him over the barricade with a Back Body Drop, landing on a few chairs, a few fans just managed to vacate. Tazai hops on the barricade, and hops off attempting a Knee Drop, but Dr. Goode rolls out of the way, causing Tazai let out a grunt of pain as his colliding with the hard floor. Dr. Goode gets his feet and heads to Tazai, grabs the leg of the pulsing knee of Tazai, spins him over, locking in a Single Legged Boston Crab. The ref is checking on Tazai, in obvious pain, but Tazai refuses to quit. The Psycho Tiger pushes himself up, and spins Dr. Goode enough to deliver a hard kick to the chest, forcing Dr. Goode to release the hold. Dr. Goode bursts to his feet, but Tazai sneaks behind, locks his arms, setting him up and taking him down with The Tiger Grip. Tazai goes for the cover…the ref counts… One…Two…Three!) :: “Fatal” begins playing and Tazai raises his arms in victory. :: Carl Rogers - Tazai Mitsubishi comes away with the victory, but Dr. Felix Goode did not fail to impress. Barry Hanson - Of course he was impressive. He is an impressive person. Kyleigh “Spark” - The Psycho Tiger adds another victory to the win column. One of the winningest competitors in the young history of NLW. And the newcomer Dr. Felix Goode finds himself zero and two here in the NLW!
Barry Hanson - And yet, he’s done significant damage to “The Million Dollar Man” Ted DiBiase by costing him the Million Dollar Championship!
Carl Rogers - And don’t forget about last week’s mind games, Barry. Up next we have Chris Moxley and Bryan Danielson squaring off. Only one is walking way ending their losing streak.
:: Tazai continues to celebrate as we fade to a promo for NLW Retaliation. We return and see Carl Rogers at the broadcast table. ::
Carl Rogers - Welcome back to Pandemonium. That’s right, NLW Retaliation will be coming live from Rogers Place in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada on Friday October 6th, 2017! And we will officially be crossing the borders next week as we bring Thursday Night Pandemonium to you live from the Rogers Arena in Vancouver, British Columbia!
Barry Hanson - Wait. Rogers Arena and Rogers Place?
Carl Rogers - Yes. It is a bit confusing. Just think of the cities, Barry. Vancouver and Edmonton. Well... folks… it’s happened again. The Masked Men have struck out of nowhere during the commercial break. Let’s take a look at the footage from what happened in the back during the break.
:: We cut away to the back. The Masked Men are doing a number on the downed Bryan Danielson. Masked Man #1 has a chair and he places it on top of Danielson’s head. Masked Man #2 jumps into the air and stomps on the chair. Danielson grabs his face and begins rolling around as his forehead begins gushing blood. The Masked Men laugh at Danielson as they begin to walk away. Before they exit the camera shot, Masked Man #1 lands a swift kick to the ribs of Chris Moxley, who has been down on the other side of the hallway this whole time. “Mean” Gene Okerlund rushes up with a microphone. ::
“Mean” Gene Okerlund - Now, wait just a minute! You two have been terrorizing the NLW for long enough! Who the hell are you two?
Masked Man #1 - Your worst nightmare.
Masked Man #2 - Fire and Ice………
:: The Masked Men walk off and the scene returns to the broadcast table. ::
Carl Rogers - Fire and Ice? So now we go from “Masked Men” to Fire and Ice?
Kyleigh “Spark” - Regardless of all of that, Carl, this is going to have to end sometime soon. These two are going to have to pay the price for what they have done week in and week out for nearly two months.
Carl Rogers - Well, I’m being told that we will go ahead and move along to the Pure Championship Match! Carlos Ruiz is set to take on A Man, Jagen Hagar.
:: “Pia’s Theme” by Christopher Melotti begins playing as Jagen Hagar steps out from the back. A Girl follows slowly behind him. ::
Carl Rogers - And here comes the challenger. Jagen Hagar is a very fascinating character, Barry.
Barry Hanson - Fascinating? He’s amazing, that’s what he is! A Man might as well be A God!
:: Jagen Hagar climbs into the ring as A Girl goes and stands by the announce table motionless. The music fades and “Mazz Cumbias” begins playing. The crowd rises to their feet and cheer on The Spanish Luchadore. Carlos Ruiz comes out in his pink tights, black leather jacket, Maui Jim sunglasses, and the NLW Pure Championship around his waist. He makes his way towards the ring. ::
Carl Rogers - And here is the undefeated NLW Pure Champion, Carlos Ruiz!
Barry Hanson - That “undefeated” ends tonight!
Carl Rogers - You say that every week, Barry.
Barry Hanson - Well, he’s never faced A Man before!
:: Carlos gets into the ring and removes his sunglasses and jacket. He unstraps the Pure Championship from his waist and hands it to the referee. The referee goes to show it to Jagen Hagar, who doesn’t even acknowledge its existence. The referee hands the belt to the ringside attendant and the music fades. The bell rings. ::
(Carlos and Jagen immediately lock up and Jagen overpowers Carlos with his sheer size advantage. Jagen tosses Carlos towards the corner and runs at him and gives a massive corner spear. Carlos winces in pain but stands up in the corner as Jagen backs up and prepares to do it again. Jagen charges but Carlos leaps forward and catches Jagen by surprise with a big time lariat… but Jagen doesn’t go down. Carlos has a look of dismay on his face as he backs up to the rope and rebounds off with another lariat, again Jagen doesn’t fall. Carlos goes for it a third time but Jagen stops him with a big boot. Jagen goes for the cover. One… Tw, KICKOUT BY CARLOS.)
Carl Rogers - That was a massive foot in the face!
Barry Hanson - His CABEZA isn’t feeling too hot after that! (Jagen stands Carlos up and sends him back into the corner and then charges him with a clothesline. Then Jagen sets Carlos up on the ropes and climbs up looking for the superplex! Carlos slides in between Jagen’s legs and grabs his left leg and pulls causing Jagen to fall face first on the mat. Jagen starts getting up as Carlos runs to the ropes and rebounds off towards Jagen for another lariat, and this one knocks the beast down! Carlos runs to the corner, climbs the top turnbuckle and leaps for a diving elbow! Jagen moves and Carlos crashes down to the mat!)
Kyleigh “Spark” - Oh! Carlos was gaining an advantage, but Jagen Hagar halted that quickly!
(Jagen gets to his feet and drags Carlos up and sets him up for The Gift, but Carlos fights out of it! Carlos slips behind Hagar and waits for him to turn around. Hagar turns around and Carlos nails Jagen Hagar with Spanish Eyes! The big man rocks backwards and falls through the ropes to the outside.)
Carl Rogers - Bad luck for Carlos Ruiz. Surely the match would’ve been won if Jagen Hagar hadn’t fallen to the outside!
Barry Hanson - A Man is too smart, Carl! A Man knew where he was!
(Jagen Hagar gets to his feet as the referee counts to four. Carlos bounces off of the ropes and leaps through with a suicide dive on Hagar. But Hagar catches Carlos and rams him into the ring post on the outside. Carlos reaches back and grabs his lower back as he remains in the clutches of the big man. Hagar runs towards the next ring post and rams Carlos’ back into the second one.)
Carl Rogers - The big man is manhandling the Pure Champion, now!
(Hagar lifts Carlos up in a gorilla press above his head and presses Carlos into the ring over the top rope. The referee’s count is at eight and Hagar grabs the top rope and pulls himself onto the ring apron. Carlos is up to his feet and runs at Hagar and swings at him. Jagen ducks under the attempt and grabs Carlos’ head and delivers a hangman on the top rope. Carlos snaps backwards and into the middle of the ring on his back. Hagar jumps back onto the ring apron and walks over to the corner. He starts to climb the turnbuckles.)
Kyleigh “Spark” - Watch out, Carlos! The big man is going up top!
(Hagar gets to the top and leaps off with a swanton bomb. Carlos rolls out of the way and Hagar crashes to the mat. The two lay on the mat as the referee begins a ten count.)
Barry Hanson - Carlos better get to his feet. His chances of winning this match and retaining his title are getting worse as long as he has to fight A Man! A Man gets better over time!
Kyleigh “Spark” - I don’t even know what that means, Barry.
(Both men are up to their feet. Carlos and Jagen begin trading blows in the middle of the ring. Jagen Hagar kicks Carlos in the midsection with a brutal Spartan kick variation. He drags Carlos up and sets up The Gift again, but this time is able to hit it. For good measures Jagen drags Carlos up and hits a second one. Jagen goes for the cover! ONE…TWO…THREE!)
:: The bell rings and “Pia’s Theme begins playing. The referee grabs the NLW Pure Championship from the ringside attendant and hands it to Hagar, who looks blankly at it. ::
Carl Rogers - I can’t believe it! Jagen Hagar has ended Carlos Ruiz’ undefeated streak and has captured the NLW Pure Championship!
Barry Hanson - I told you! I told you it would happen!
Kyleigh “Spark” - Barry, get off of the announce table!
:: We see Barry celebrating on the announce table as Jagen Hagar drags the NLW Pure Championship carelessly out of the ring and he walks to the back, followed by A Girl. We fade to commercial. When we return, we see the broadcast table. ::
Carl Rogers - And we are back and about ready for our Main Event! But, Barry. How about Jagen Hagar? He’s the new NLW Pure Champion!
Barry Hanson - And he couldn’t care less about it! What an icon!
Carl Rogers - An icon? That may be going a bit far. Nevertheless, let’s get to our Main Event! Erik Black is set to take on Brayden Wolfe!
Kyleigh “Spark” - Both have been impressive, as of late. I would imagine that we are in for a treat with this Main Event! :: “Death Trend Setta” begins playing and Erik Black steps out from the back and makes his way toward the ring. :: Carl Rogers – Erik Black looking to keep his win streak going after defeating Chris Moxley last week. Barry Hanson – Erik Black is without a doubt one of the toughest guys in the NLW. Kyleigh “Spark” - Wow. There IS something in this world that we agree on. :: Black walks to the corner and waits in the corner with an intense, determined look on his face. As his music fades, “Too Many Years” by Kodak Black begins playing throughout the arena. Brayden Wolfe steps out from the back with Big Steve and his girlfriend Kelsey. :: Carl Rogers - Brayden Wolfe must be feeling good coming off his win over Chris Moxley at No Escape.
